Without a doubt you are a great teacher, and we violists are more than grateful to you. I also teach classes and I love learning to be able to do my job, and also say that teaching classes is reciprocal since in the end you also receive and learn at the same time. Thank you very very much! I'll put it into practice right now! this channel is a blessing
I took up the violin as a second instrument after classical guitar (Sydney Con, 1980s) and the viola as a third (really fourth after starting piano at 5yrs) and I've got to say even though the alto clef is just so close to the treble clef (well, 8ve + 1 note difference) after so long on the treble clef this Alto clef really plays with my head. I'll get it in the end, my teacher will ensure that I think, but it's a real 'mind game'. You're a great teacher and this lesson from William Primrose is a real eye-opener as to a way of approaching things, and I can't thank you enough for it. I'll definitely be looking him up and likely ordering some tuition books by him. At 58, I'm still learning. Again, Thank you. Mark - Australia.
I use a viola made 1999 by Anthony lace (from California) in this video I use warchal amber strings. I also use dominant pro strings and rondo strings. I am launching a new online site called violazone.com. Please place your email there and you can get a discount code for when we open the site. And you can get the strings at a good price!
