Denali Highway Alaska RV LIFE. RV fulltime Living / Roadtrip / The Last Frontier Wilderness

- We've taken our Thor Class C Magnitude up the Haul Road to Prudhoe Bay, and now on the ORIGINAL Highway to Denali National Park. F-35 squadron and F-16 jets give us a quick show on our way out. It's not Oshgosh EAA AirVenture but it was still cool. Lots of gravel, can the RV survive another test trip? Not sure if it's smart but we're going to try. At least it's not like the Ice Road Truckers doing it in winter but it's still going to be in the wilderness!
Taking our Class C motorhome to Alaska the Last Frontier so we can get to some remote areas and drive on roads less traveled. Like up to the Arctic Ocean or a view of the Alaska Range.
We've been planning this Alaska RV road trip for over a year and we're doing it. Enough talk, let's walk! Well...we'll drive but you get the picture. RV Fulltime Living is an adventure.
We stayed in Fairbanks to recover and resupply from the Haul Road but it's time to start our trip. We visit the North Pole (whaaat?!?) and a "snowed out" BLM campground. I am redeemed and we head out to the wilderness.
We've read reviews about the condition of the road so we're prepared. The scenery is supposed to be spectacular so we forge on ahead.
Is the Original Denali Highway worse than The Haul Road? We'll find out!
Our RV is a Thor Magnitude so we hope it survives but the views are magnificent, awesome and stunning so the trip is a once in a lifetime event.
I think on this trip, it's time to get the DJI Mavic Mini 2 drone out and exercise it after nearly a week of inactivity! Are we going to see wildlife? Moose? Otters? We'll see...

RV Camping
We like to "Switch it Up" between resorts and campgrounds and boondocking is always an option.
We draw inspiration from Keep Your Daydream KYD, Less Junk More Journey, Finding Our Someday and Changing Lanes. We normally travel in an HDT similar to UA-cam channels Suite Travels and Watts on Wheels. I also get some ideas from the editing style of Happily Ever Hanks (Happilyeverhanks) #thankshanks
Our journey is the destination. Let's discover What's Next. We enjoy sharing our experiences of true fulltime RV lifestyle as we travel nearly weekly to all sorts of interesting places.

Our Class C is built by Thor Motorcoach on a Ford F550 chassis. It's a production build Magnitude model XG32. We tow our red Jeep Wrangler Sahara behind it. We've made some modifications to it so that we can boondock comfortably. Lithium batteries, Victron 3000w multi-plus inverter, dual alternators charge while traveling and mods to the water system greatly enhance it's boondocking capabilities.
Our extreme completely custom 5th wheel is built on a semi-trailer chassis with air suspension and air brakes. Completely loaded it weighs 42,000 lbs rolling down the highway. And we do roll down the highway nearly every week. You see, we believe that if your home has wheels they should be used.
Vehicles:
2016 Volvo VNL780 "Voyager"
2016 Smart fortwo "Pathfinder"
2019 SpaceCraft Custom built semi-trailer 5th wheel "Orion"
2023 Thor Magnitude XG32 Class C "Curiosity"
2017 Jeep Wrangler Sahara "Artemis"
Power system:
3250 watts of solar with Panasonic panels
30.1 KWH of Lithium batteries
2- 4K watt Magnum Inverters deliver power as if we are on shore power
2- 4K watt 240v Cotek Inverters deliver additional power for our LG Mini split HVAC and stove
Coachnet is our roadside assistance company we use but hopefully we don't use them too often. LOL
We are not sponsored by Whataburger but I do enjoy them anytime I can get my hands on one. They used to be just out of Texas but they have expanded.

Kudos to several of our viewers who noticed the bike laying down before we got to the campground. That was a lunch stop just a few miles from where the gentleman notified us of it dragging on the ground. Great job! This community is the best and we appreciate you guys looking out for us. LOL. Apparently, we need all the help we can get! Thank you
I love the Denali Highway. Last year We took a week to drive across pulling our 30' Travel Trailer. Such an amazing road and the views along the south side of the Alaska Range were breathtaking the entire way. I lived here in Alaska for almost 50 years, and I am still in awe of this state. The Denali Highway is a popular hunting area for both Moose & Caribou. I'm an amateur nature & wildlife photographer, and one of my shots I took ended up in a Gallery in Milan Italy. Keep enjoying your journey.
That is quite an accomplishment to have your photo published. Congratulations! We loved the area and will return at some point to spend more time. Thanks for sharing.
dont laugh problems with mosquitos , in an emergency issue, always carry , DONT LAUGH, queen size pantyhoses, each pack is per person, now the legs of the pantyhose is for the hands to the arms , up to the shoulders, and if your wearing a wide brem hat the waist portion goes over the top of the hat laying on the brem of the hat, and a rubber band over your head down to your neck, i know this is funny looking and since you protecting your self its a good thing. for you hat on the top inside place a LAVENDER DRYER SHEET ON THE TOP , MOSQUITOS HATE THE SCENT AND WILL GO AWAY? essential oils in non scented lotion on the hands , face arms even legs , lavender, cedarwood, peppermint, tea tree, scent test a small amount so you can not hurt your skin, CEDARWOOD IS THE BEST BUT FOR MOST PEOPLE IT BURNS THE SKIN, A PLANTED CEDARWOOD TREE WHEN CAMPING IS THE BEST, LARGE AMOUNT OF WATER POURED OVER THE PLANT AND IT WORKS THE BEST WHEN CAMPING, THE PLANT CAN BE STORED AWAY FOR 1 DAY THEN OUT SIDE FOR THE WATERING?
don't laugh...don't laugh....actually, that makes a lot of sense...not sure I could wear it but I like the way you're thinking. We have some lavender spray we got in Washington from a lavender farm we overnighted and it does seem to work! Thank you for the suggestions.
Chief security officer Sondra complete with ear protection and the wood splitting Hawaiian having fun again in Alaska. You are both doing well and enjoying every moment. Keep it up, loving the trip !!
LOL...thank you for watching. Really appreciate it. Glad you're along on the journey.
Ahh the North Pole. Many years ago I was on a biz trip to Fairbanks. Drove up to the N Pole and called my kids and told them where I was :). They were all pre-teen and said 'no way dad your not at the north pole' So I sent them postcards ( I said it was many years ago :) The USPO there stampted them with the North Pole stamp :)
Love it. We had Santa make a video with us and we'll show it to our grandchildren when we visit for the holidays. It will be cool.
Another terrific video guys! I don't know anything about drones so I'm wondering how you get the drone footage while you are driving?
Sondra drives and I fly from the passenger seat. It takes a little bit of planning but it's a nice result so far. Thank you.
Thanks for the drive back and forth on the Denali Hwy!! We weren’t able to go last time we were there. It is just beautiful!!!
Enjoy your travels and stay safe!
Thank you Teresa. It was a great drive and very different each way.
The scenery, the dramatic music combined with incredible drone footage all brought life of your travels in Alaska to this video episode.
The greenery with the majestic mountain range in the background along the highway creates no need for speed.
Well done you guys.
Loved it’
Thank you for watching the channel. We're excited to be able to share our experiences with everyone and to give back to the RV community.
I was stationed at Eielson AFB from 1990 - 1994. I rented an apartment the first year in North Pole. I was right behind the Santa Clause house through the trees. LOL
Wow! Christmas ALL Year! Thanks for your service. It's a neat area.
This video is beautiful. The Paxson Lake Campground is a winner. I wish one could fish the pristine lake. I have often wondered what precautions David and Sondra take regarding bears. Bears in this region would cause me to be hyper-alert and cautious. The lynx encounter was fantastic!
Thank you so much. We have bear spray but as long as Sondra has her camera ready...the animals like to hide! LOL. Paxson Lake is a beautiful area for sure.
WONDERFUL……Vista’s, scenery, a favorite of the rushing water……. I go to the Rocky Mountains from Colorado Springs, CO just to sit along a creek to listen to it babble, eat a lunch, and read.
Yes, Sharon. I could hang out all day by the river.
I am surprised how much it looks like Scotlland in the Highlands.
Yes, Stephan. Parts of it looked like Scotland and other areas reminded us of Switzerland or Austria.
Hi guys...very nice...very beautiful...thanks...stay safe...J&A
Great to hear from you, J&A. I can only assume that you were comfy in bed and staying cool under the A/C...while watching us deal with bumpy roads! LOL. Hope all is well, safe travels. Thanks for watching.
Showing your map at every location would be nice so we can understand where your location is. That’s just me I’m a paper map geek😊
That's a good idea! It would have been helpful in Alaska.
Enjoying the trip. Spotting a Lynx in the wild is very difficult esp with driving down the road. We get them in our yard in Eagle River about once a year but they normally stay hidden. Hope you now find a wolverine
The lynx was really special. A wolverine would be super cool! Thank you for watching.
Your Spacecraft Orion and her buddies at Spacedock Kansas are either LOL or COL about the dismal UFO disclosures in Washington DC
😂 Amazing views you are sharing here, thank you.
I think they are glad to be in a more "sane" environment in the midwest, Hans. I think Orion & Voyager are thankful to be taking a break from our summer trip! Appreciate you watching and commenting. Thank you.
SO sorry this is posted as it is one of the favorite roads of Alaskans. We hope you haven't destroyed the solitude we enjoy by calling it out to so many people. The last thing we want is an RV invasion on this road.
It's a beautiful drive but a rough road. I don't think most people visiting your great state will take the chance. No worries, your secret is safe...especially during hunting season!
You guys are brave!l thanks for showing us Alaska. Really awesome you include drone video!! What kind do you have? Thanks! 👍🏼
Thank you. Traveling Alaska this summer is a lot of fun as we're seeing areas we have not in the past. I fly a DJI Mini2.
Great Channel I plan on doing the same trip in a couple years. will you have a detailed map of your route when your done? The only change I would do is i'm going up the dempster highway to tuc and not the Dalton I thing the end point is better. love watching your travels. And if you guys think about selling Curiosity at the end of your journey I would be extremely interested. SAFE TRAVELS!!!
Sounds great, Ted. And thank you. We want to do Tuk as well but we'll see on weather...we'll have a recap after the trip is done with the route map.
Sorry you missed the air show this time! One very favorite hints to do! Never missed one in our area. I’m seeing all the dust, and have started sneezing! 😅😅😅😅😅
I think Wild Camping, if you’re set up to do it, is much preferable to being wall to wall with other RV’s.
Love going to the air shows. We try to catch one in any area that we visit. It was dusty... no doubt!
My wife and I are really enjoying your Vlogs. We are planning to go to Alaska in 2025. One more year of work and then we can start preparing for that trip. Thanks so much for your channel. I have so many questions about the gear you use and your RV mods. I hope you do some videos on your methods.
Tad and Anne (T&A RV)
Thanks, T&A. This video has some of the mods. We ended up with a few more. It's working well on this trip. ua-cam.com/video/PzrBW8Sdq9I/v-deo.html
Loved every minute of your fantastic video and drone fly overs, truly spectacular. Can’t believe you guys are already at the halfway point. Safe travels!
Thank you so much. We can't believe it either. The summer is flying by!
I realize many aren’t Christian but when I discovered the truth behind “Santa Clause” or Satan clause I was shocked. So many things we think as innocent in this world until we become children of God and actually understand the tricks of the enemy and good and evil etc.. again most will I’m sure think it’s foolishness. The things of God are foolishness to the natural man.
Appreciate your comments, Chris. Thanks for watching the channel. 😁
My wife and I live in Utah, however I am from Alaska and we have family friends that camp at tangle lakes all the time… imagine my surprise when just after telling my wife this I saw our friend Troy tell you about your bikes. Hope there wasn’t any damage
Thanks for watching. Tell Troy "HUGE" thank you for letting us know about the bike. No damage, thank you for asking and I did discover what was wrong.
If you will be heading to Dawson City make sure you stop at the Downtown Hotel for the sour toe drink. You will enjoy Chicken AK and the top of the world highway too.
Thanks, William. Not sure about the drink but we love Dawson City. Will try to get up there in September...maybe. 😆 Thanks for watching.
We will be doing this trip in under 2 years. I'm just curious on the gas mileage you guys are getting? We are thinking about getting a similar rv. Enjoy you videos on Alaska
Thanks, Joe. We are averaging around 10 mpg with a combination of towing and not. Mostly towing though. But, we haven't been driving much past 55 mph so that also helps!
Amazing views, and catching that Lynx was awesome. Great Job!!
Thanks a lot! It was amazing out there.
outstanding footage and now we have a problem 😮 We now have to plan OUR Alaska trip, nah a good problem 🎉
LOL...that's a great problem to have! Good luck. It's an epic trip if you allow enough time.
What dates were you on the Denali Highway? We took it from west to east this summer July 12th and 13th. We boondocked at a pullout at the 1/2 way point. It has become my new favorite road in Alaska!
Love that area. We were there July 7th-10th.
When you drove past Tangle Lakes all I could remember was the billions of mosquitoes when I was there in the late 1980’s. We used to drive south from Fairbanks and fish on those lakes. We would try to get a very Smokey fire going to keep them away but inevitably, we would wear head nets and keep gloves on to avoid the little buggers. I’m enjoying your videos as it reminds me of my six years in Fairbanks.
Thanks, Mark. They can definitely be pesky little buggers! We have found an essential oils compound with lavender in it which seems to work as well....and I smell good! LOL.
Great views love Santa village 🎉
Thank you for watching the channel. We're excited to be able to share our experiences with everyone and to give back to the RV community. We enjoy North Pole, Alaska as well.
Just wondering does.anyone know who is following them in the other large rv with a blue run about?
Thanks for watching Kimberly. Just some people who asked to tag along because they couldn't plan Alaska by themselves, so they followed us to Glen Allen. They finally decided to strike out on their own after a few days in Alaska. Appreciate your comments. Hope you're having a great summer.
World class view at Maclaren Valley is definitely better than being nestled in the trees! Great video 👊
No kidding, Steve. It was more than we could have hoped for and the weather (overall) was really very nice for us. Thanks for watching.
I guess the “pipeline” of jokes are never gonna run dry.
Oh no... it's a deep well... 😆
Look forward to your videos every Thursday. Fabulous trip.
We really appreciate your time watching the channel and are excited to have you along on the journey. Thanks for being a part of the story.
I love your videos.I have taken many of the routes you are enjoying. I have done the Dalton highway and the Denali Highway. It is my favorite road in Alaska. Some of the relics you saw were from gold mining. I took some of the roads that turn off the highway and they lead to some amazing places. One took us to an active gold mine high up in the Alaska Range. Next time I recommend you unhook Artemis and explore the back country on the highway!!! Well worthwhile!!!
That sounds like a good idea. We'll have to leave time in our "schedule" next time. Thank you!
I was in it. The problem is between the chair and the keyboard. However, be nice to your wife. Lol!
LOL...very true! Thank you....and I am always nice to my wife....but we do like to poke fun at one another from time to time.
Starting to plan a trip up the Alcan Hwy this August '24. How did you research the camping along the way in British Columbia and the Yukon? Any help would be appreciated.
We purchased The Milepost publication for our trip planning. Great resource with a ton of useful information. Having traveled up there previously also helped but getting the Milepost book was a big help. We also got the Tour Saver app for Alaska which saved us money on tours but also gave us some ideas on things to see and do.
@@bigtruckbigtravels Thank you so much, I already ordered the Milepost and have already downloaded the Tour Savior App. Got both of these ideas from watching your UA-cam videos'. Thanks
22:11 We so agree with those pesky doors, Our door is possesed at times.
Ugh Thor!
Our door does have a mind of it's own. There are times when it will close nicely and others where it has a gap at the bottom. I know it has to do with levelness but we level to the same criteria each time. Grrrrr....
@bigtruckbigtravels Our got better after tightening up the door handle. The mounting plates were getting loose.
To bad your not fishers some of the best salmon fishing anywhere.
I know, Joe. But we may "dip our toes in" later next month..maybe. Down on the KP.
I'm from Gakona, been all over AK. The Denali is likely the prettiest drive in the whole state. To beat that, you need to win the road lottery so you can drive all the way to Wonder Lake and Kantishna.
That would be cool once they open the road past the Pretty Rocks landslide at mile 43. 😎
@@bigtruckbigtravels Oh, it'll be open before I ever manage to win the lottery, lol
I enjoy watching.Keep it coming
Thank you, we will!
Do you belong to Coast to Coast? And if so, how do you like it??
We do not, Pat. We are Thousand Trails members and enjoy the parks....it would be nice if more of them were updated but it works fine for us.
Hey I’m a trucker and I’m not to far away I’m in dead horses in my peterbuilt and the dalton highway is sloppy and a nightmare because of the rain
I bet it is messy! We were very fortunate to get out before it really started to rain and get sloppy. Stay safe on those roads. Appreciate what you do. Thank you.
@@bigtruckbigtravels thank you and yes very lucky that you got out of here in time
Great show safe travels Have fun and make memories
Thanks Dean. It's been a great trip with more to come. Stay cool this summer!
Are your friends still traveling along?
Hi Jane, not friends just some acquaintances from an HDT rally a few years ago. They followed their own path into Alaska once we crossed the border. Not sure where they are as they don't keep in touch.
Thanks for sharing, it helps a lot in planning a trip!
Glad you found it useful...and hopefully, a little entertaining.
Beautiful ❤
We really appreciate your time watching the channel and are excited to have you along on the journey. Thanks for being a part of the story.
wow what scenery lucky you seeing lynx
Hey Sue, it was very fortunate to see it. We've been very lucky to see as much wildlife as we have. Appreciate you watching the channel.
I saw the bike lying down in front of the Jeep from a Drone shot just before the guy stopped you. Wouldn't have if it wasn't for the shot in the preview.
Hey Rod, another viewer mentioned that as well so I had to go back to the footage...and voila! There it is! Never saw it at that stop. Wow. Thanks
@@bigtruckbigtravels I knew it was too late when I saw it, but almost picked up the phone to call you. Hope there was no significant damage.
@rodlappin6147 very fortunate there was no damage. Thanks
Have you done the drive across Canada?
Not yet, Abby. We thought about it but maybe next time. We want to be able to spend some time in places like Thunder Bay and we are running out of "weather" for this year! LOL. Thanks for watching.
My brother in law has a class c with the bike rack on the back sure they are tide down and it's tied to the ladder and on the bumper
Thanks, James. I was afraid our e- bikes were a little too heavy for the ladder. Still investigating why it came off...
@bigtruckbigtravels have a great trip in Alaska looks like fun take care happy camping
there are nice people in this world.
Very nice, Kristina. It makes you realize that the entire world isn't crazy and mean. Thanks
Maybe invest in a separate key ring for the Coach’s keys and those for the rest of the storage bays for Curiousity, Sondra? So that way you won’t need to worry about having the wrong keys for the entry door.
That's a good idea! Of course, sometimes I need the basement keys and she needs the front door key at the same time!
@@bigtruckbigtravels maybe ask the manufacturer if you could get any spares.
@voyagingwithvincent1994 we have spares... just need to put them on another key ring.
@@bigtruckbigtravels perhaps getting them from Walmart or Advanced auto parts.
Have you guys ever taken your RV on a ferry?
Not yet...but stick around....
Those mountains, WOW !
They were spectacular, Debbie. Thank you for watching the channel. 😁
OMG! I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS! I can almost feel the fresh air with every breath I take! Thank you for sharing your trips with us. By the way, I like your Oatman, Az T-shirt. I live in Arizona & still haven't been able to make it up there to see all the burros. Yep! That poor financially, but not in spirit!
Oatman is really cool. We were boondocking near London Bridge at Lake Havasu and decided to take a day trip up there. Couldn't believe all the wild burros! Glad to have you along on the journey.
Speachless about the images! Luckely I am writing! Thanks so much again for making us part of your wonderful adventure! We were able to see the fallen bike on your Drone view!! Great that no huge and expensives damages! Stay safe!
Thank you, Marco. I went back to look at the footage...and it's right there! I just didn't see it at the time. Lucky that it was not damaged for certain.
Guys, I love your videos, thank you for sharing this amazing trip!
Already in my bucket list. 😊
🙏👍👍👍👍
Thank you for watching the channel. We're excited to be able to share our experiences with everyone and to give back to the RV community.
Another wonderful video!! The Denali Highway and Kennicott Mine are two of my favorite places! Enjoy
We really appreciate your time watching the channel and are excited to have you along on the journey. Thanks for being a part of the story.
Thanks for sharing 🥰
We really appreciate your time watching the channel and are excited to have you along on the journey. Thanks for being a part of the story.
Wonderful video guys! It was great to see all the footage from the Denali Highway--could have watched the lynx forever and the mountains were incredible! Really appreciate how you are traveling some of the less traveled roads. Nice shots of the fighters at Eielson AFB--surprised you could get away with parking by the side of the road by the runway. When we drove by there were lots of signs warning drivers not to stop. BTW, Eielson was from North Dakota--his childhood home is marked in Hatton, North Dakota. Would make for an interesting stop as you reenter the lower 48.
Safe travels!!
That's a neat bit of info, Pete. Thank you. We looked for warning signs but there were none so we stopped for less than a minute. I love military aircraft and when I saw the F35's and F16 flying and on the flightline, I just couldn't help myself.
You should always chop wood on top of a bigger piece of 🪵. Less risk of damaging your axe and or getting shrapnel in an eye or other body part from hitting the ground and rocks.
Thanks, Joe. I have tried to do that now....in a few video's from now, I split it on another log.
Great video of Denali highway! You have seen all the animals! That’s awesome!
No comment on Cantwell! Ha
Wilderness Time!
We really appreciate your time watching the channel and are excited to have you along on the journey. Thanks for being a part of the story.
If I have paid attention I believe you folks lived in Texas prior to starting your RV journey? Also, David seems to be very technical savvy as well as mechanically adept. He also knew his airplanes at Eilison Air Force Base, I'm thinking that his career was in engineering, perhaps with NASA?
Thank you, Ray for the comments and being very kind. We lived in TX for a few years and decided to domicile there when we retired since we really loved Texas. I'm definitely not an engineer but I do enjoy military aircraft. Appreciate your watching the channel.
I agree with you Sondra I would like the view of the mountains not the trees! Yes I have had trouble with out Thor Rv lock too! Finally I thought I wanted to experience Alaska but after your videos of the roads I think I will experience through your eyes! Your videos are amazing! Thank you for sharing.
Thank you. The door is definitely not consistent. The view of the mountains certainly wins out! Well, we're glad to have you along on the journey. It will be a fun summer!
Thanks for the journey, loved the Denali Highway BOTH WAYS. I will definitely add it to my next Alaskan adventure.
It's pretty epic, John. The road is iffy but the views are spectacular.
We love that drive also. Did my share of fishing in the rivers on the ORIGINAL Denali Highway . Have fun and be safe
It's a beautiful drive, Nick. Anyone who experiences it is seeing Alaska in a different way. Thank you.
#55👍.........I cannot believe you've been in Alaska that long already myself.....but I guess you have since I've been watching you do this trip since, what, April? It's got to be such a relief for little to no pesky blood thirsty insects on this segment. I'd take the colder temps for that relief! Wonderful views continue and nice drone footage as usual. Glad you just do what you feel like each day! Keep well and safe, see you next time.
Thanks, KB. Appreciate your comments each week. We couldn't believe it either. The trip has flown by so far but we have several major activities yet to be taken while up here...so hang on! The summer is not over! LOL.
Thanks for bringing back memories of my visit to North Pole and Santa's House in 2014. My 7 year old self got lost there. Everyone else was back on our coach at the. designated time, but I was nowhere to be found. It's an experience I will never forget. Also, that sunset just made I heart sing. I took a screenshot of it to remind me of the incredible sunsets I saw up there. Thank you once again for taking me along with you on this incredible journey. 💖💖
Thanks, Lyn, glad it brought back great memories. If you want a good photo of the sunset (which was awesome) just send me an email and I'll send you a better res one. Bigtrucksbigtravel@gmail.com
That was an awesome video. I thought your lynx was a bobcat when I first saw it. But they are definitely different animals, and the lynx are taller and have different features than a bobcat. The moose and her calf were so cute. Such beautiful scenery!
Thank you, Phyllis. We were very fortunate to see as much wildlife as we did but then we were driving fairly slowly so that helped.
The Santa House is awesome!!! Santa made a video with us to our grandchildren. I was awesome!!! I was only disappointed to see so much of the store merch made in China.
Yes, that was disappointing but maybe that will change in the near future. Santa did the video with us as well and we'll show it to our grandchildren over the holidays.
Wow, your videos are exquisite; how are they made? The views, mountains, rivers, the river otters…WOW!!!
Thank you very much. The otters were the highlight.
Otters ❤
She loves them!
A Lynx!! Cool !!!
Super cool, Kris...and awesome too! Very unexpected so we were stoked to see it and get a shot of it.
Wow that is incredible your large motorhome / and a car. It’s amazing the roads over there. We are traveling in our motorhome but the European roads we wouldn’t have much of a chance. Amazing! Great video
It would be tight in Europe...we probably are too big...even in our Class C! We've talked about RVing in Europe for a summer one day. Thank you.
What BIG country, I could sit and stare at it all for hours. How cool that you saw a baby moose, otters and a lynx! That sand storm was weird, I always think of them in desert country. I'm looking forward to the next episode!
Thanks, Carol. That sand storm was very unexpected. Never would have thought it could happen off the river.
Another great video. I can’t wait to go back to Alaska and see all those places we missed. But we won’t be camping nor will we be staying as long as you two. Thanks for all the fabulous videos, photos and drone footage. Can’t wait until next week.
Thank you, Christy. We want to cruise Alaska one of these days. But we enjoy the roadtrip version...lol. Glad you're along on the journey. Until next week then....😊
Thank you for taking me along to God's country....minus the roads, 😊
LOL...the roads can be a test to one's resolve, Susan. That is for certain. Appreciate your time watching the channel.
Just beautiful….. the sun set was amazing. No wonder it took you so long to go such a short distance. Gorgeous….
We really appreciate your time watching the channel and are excited to have you along on the journey. Thanks for being a part of the story.
Guys are doing a real good job I like the views diesel was 348 here in Missouri and it was about96
Well, Tim, I am missing the diesel prices in Missouri...but not the heat!
Absolutely love watching your journey through Alaska. Thank You enjoy 🥰
Thanks, Joyce. We enjoy sharing and we appreciate your time watching the channel.
You are doing a great job with your videos we went to Alaska 30 years ago and did bread and breakfast as it’s been quite a change since we went I’m glad you’re doing it brings back memories
Thank you Sandy & Larry. Appreciate the comment. Glad you enjoyed it.
Wonderful drone footage. Beautiful photos. Lovin' the journey!
Thank you for watching the channel. We're excited to be able to share our experiences with everyone and to give back to the RV community.
Wow you are right the views are awesome! And loved the F16's !
Thanks, Kris. Beautiful area that we will return to and spend more time in the future.
The snow covered mountains are beautiful! Live the scenery!
Thank you for watching the channel. We're excited to be able to share our experiences with everyone and to give back to the RV community.

That’s where I would hunt caribou. Mostly on the Cantwell side. I can’t believe that it’s been so long since you were at Eagle River Campground.
Oh man, Tony, I know, it really seems like a long time ago but just around the corner. Funny how time flies. Are you hitting the KP for the salmon runs? That's a scenic area to hunt.
@@bigtruckbigtravels I am headed to Seward this morning to go fishing with my sons. I just returned from a work trip to McGrath AK and head to Sitka in a week.
Spectacular job, as usual! Thanks for sharing!
