So great to hear from PAUL!!!
I’ve never uploaded a video so fast in my life.
Sadly, yes. Nothing makes sense anymore. Taking close to 40 years of canonical building and flushing it down the loo doesn’t draw new audiences compared to the audience that you had. Numbers don’t lie.
I will put it like this - George Lucas was an anti-establishment type of entrepreneur. Disney is technically the establishment in which Lucas rebelled against. Star Wars was a hobby for George Lucas. Lucas didn't have to answer to shareholders; thus, he made content without limitations. Disney is catering to shareholders moreso than the fans. ...and those shareholders are the new establishment in which hates the rebelling anti-establishment fan base. It's not logical.
Lucas didn't make "content". He told stories. He was a storyteller, an artist. Disney makes content. Forgettable, mundane, meaningless content.
@@lusotuberThe Last Jedi isn’t forgettable. And Disney didn’t make it, Rian Johnson and Lucasfilm did.
Yes. They have some creative folks working there who know what they are doing (Dave Filoni, for example), but there have been more misses than hits. The Acolyte was a total disaster that should never have been filmed, and most of the jokes Disney added to the sequel trilogy felt like the sort of self-deprecating humour you would get in the MCU, and completely out of place in the Star Wars universe.
If there's a second season of Ahsoka I'll eat my hat.
Yes.
Does a bear shit in the woods?
100%
To keep it simple imagine Disney Bought KFC and made them a burger restaurant. Only someone with no business practice or disney would do something like that.
Strange how the comments I posted are now missing
That is weird. We can see it in the comments history but it's oddly missing from this comment section:
@MauiMark1
Disney corp? No.
Disney BOD’s? Yes!
Kathleen Kennedy? Absolutely. She is the destroyer of worlds!!!!
Hey Maui Mark. We just discovered those comments were posted elsewhere. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxMNLpB1xaK5KfCE5IhwRv2l7TiDPyMy2y
