I don't know if you read these comments, but I've been watching for a while now, the content is good and you are improving. Just FYI, when I first started watching, you had some negative reviews about other reviewers, and that was a bit of a turnoff, the content you provide about the skis is great, and it seems like you are going 100% in that direction recently. I am fine with a negative review of a ski, but making fun of how other people ski or review skis probably isn't your forte. I'm rooting for you, man, I just wanted to throw out that feedback, and I'm happy for you that the channel is taking off!
Hey Adam, I totally do read these (though admittedly can only reply to a handful). This is a great comment and will be the subject of my next video so keep an eye out. Thanks for the kind words. Cheers.
Tele skier here. Had a pair of Renouns that I skied for a little over a season. I loved the way they performed. Also felt like they punched way above their weight in powder for a narrower ski. I was bummed they couldn't hold a tele binding. Would definitely buy a pair again if I was on alpine.
I hope you show a bit of the heating and molding process you use for the Intuition and Zip Fit liners. This might be something I would do in the future.
The spring before last I bought some Volkl Blaze 86 skis, I loved how quick, maneuverable, catch free they were in the moguls and trees. I used them at the end of last season in 10 inches of fresh powder at Sunapee, and they weren't bad, but I felt I needed some width, which led me to buy a pair of Volkl blaze 106, (the predessor to the 104 you just bought) that just happen to be the women's "pink" and purple skinned version of the mens ski, (but same build) on sale for $389 with bindings. Looking forward to trying them this season, hopefully mother nature will be kind with the snowfall here in the east.
Note for the Zipfits. I have them and love them, but it is a loooong process to dial them in. The first 5-8 ski days are horrible, almost impossible to get your boot closed, feel like crap, and you will want to return them. But stick with it, move the cork around with the backside of a spoon, let the cork settle and they will be great. I am at the tail end of the bell curve, but it took me approx 15-20 ski days to finally get them where I want. On the opposite side, the intuitions will feel great the 1st day. Skied them for years before the Zipfits. My only issue is that they pack out quickly. Not an issue for the average skier, but for those with lots of ski days they only last a couple of years.
I ski in Zipfits and they were fine from day one for me. I think this will be the 6th season in them in the same boot with about 30 days a season for the last 2 years.
Ya know what, *I* am going to start prioritizing brands that send stuff to you.😎 I really trust and appreciate your insights so it’s super valuable to me when you can try things. I get a better map of the industry. Also…do I remember J Skis being mentioned at some point?? I’m excited for that if my memory is serving me.
@@RicketySkiReviews Mpro 99 was a different construction than the 90, but new 100 from 2025 is completely new construction and shape, and seems way more fun to ride as far as people tend to say. I like Dynastar but mpros used to be a bit too serious to my taste. But I'm curious about the new one.
Im A blaze fan. I have the 94 on the east coast. It's definitely more of a soft snow ski. I would suggest using it on the right day. It's pretty lightweight. I won't say anymore because I want you to have a clean slate going in
Looking forward to your reviews of liners and footbeds. I personally I'm a big fan of intuition liners and have been skiing on them for 20 plus years. I also always wondered why you always said you never skied with footbeds. For me, that is a must as I have flat feet .
Be sure to have you Zipfits fitted by an experienced Zipfit shop. For me they have been the best piece of ski equipment I've purchased in the last few years. They are worth the money because you can switch them from boot to boot. Easier to sell your old boot with unused liners. I have a medium volume leather lined model. Literally from the first turn they blew me away. The leather holds your foot like concrete but warm and uber comfy. There are nuances to the proper fit and the ability to add or remove cork makes them super adjustable. If you ski a lot and like boots that really offer a slop less fit it's money well spent. These liners will make any ski more responsive. Can't recommend the leather liners enough.
Awww... You are getting excited about Stockli.. I skied with a couple people today that were on Stockli.. I was on my DPS but I missed my Stockli.. It looks like you got your MOJO... When you start working on your Zip Fit Liners could film the whole fitting process?
love the videos elliott! Im on the fence about getting some jski master blasters! would love to see you review them before i bite the bullet! thank you!
I use thd Zipfit Corsa..in my Hesd Raptor WCR. Absolutely brilliant performance and comfort even whrn I did thd full Liquifit on the Hesd liner. Took abit a tinkering to get the fight amount of work in the liner ax a have skinny ankles.they have the best toes box in any liner on the mkt.
I'd love to see you review the Line Blade ski, if you haven't already. I bought a pair toward the end of last season, and they are by far the most exciting ski I've tried in the last 10 years. The dimensions are so weird, but Line made it work.
My experience with Intuition liners and don't necessarily let it influence you. I have a pair of Dalbello Krypton Kross from 2008 that I wore for ten years before needing a liner. I purchased a Scarpa Intuition liner for around $100 that is fairly basic (a loop on the tongue a loop on the cuff free float tongue that's it) and have had that in the boot ever since. This year I purchased a pair of Dalbello Veloce 120. So it could be just that new liners are more comfortable than old liners or that the new liners have not packed out. The Scarpa Intuition liner I have in my old boot feels ridged, tough, smells, yet it still feels like it holds a shape (It could also be the included Scarpa footbed helps high arches better.) The new Dalbello liner feels like it is more comfortable and wraps around my foot better, yet the most I have worked it is wearing the boots (and they are different boots) while sitting around, plus clicking into my skis on carpet to flex the boots a few times over a few hours... so.. good luck. Giving perspective on how to customize a boot and how it works versus others... yeah. good luck.
I am looking forward for the review of boot liners. This year bought boot Roxa r3 with intuition boot liner and going to test it too)) And i'm going to go ski tour in this boots. hope i am going to be in mood to write my opinion about it to your upcoming review ))
New Corvus is nothing like the old one in anyway. I’m a Corvus guy because it’s just a really heavy hard charging 107 crud cutting beast. Two sheets of metal in the old one. It’s not a “fun” ski it’s hard and demanding but works for a select few. The new one looks awesome but is absolutely a new ski in every way. Sad to see the old one go, got a new pair for the shelf, but would love to try the new one
I also got zip fits last season after utterly packing out my liners. Have about 35 days in them and oh man I could never go back. I’ll update my thoughts also after this season where I’m aiming for 100 days
Meier Big Hoss, Blackcrows Corvus, Head Supershape E-Titan, Stockly Montero AX (hope you also have this plus the AX) and lastly Kastle has a lot of skis I wish you could try 😅
Wish I had your financial wisdom but I don't so I just spent over 500 bucks on a pair of Zipfits because I keep hearing how awesome they are. Looking forward to trying them out.
Those special boot liners from zip fit, I am curious how they feel like. So far, I am enjoying my Salomons Select 80 Wides with the standard liner, elevated by 3mm sole insert.
I'll have the Corvus on Snow Next week at Whistler, I ski on the Atris and the Nocta, I had the original Corvus but I had they were too stiff for me. I installed the Cast 2.0 on them
It's so good to see you compare the two major aftermarket liners, there aren't many people doing that in video format. Bravo! Also great story!

Yeah it's pretty amazing and weirdly kind of a feature I don't see talked about very frequently
for me zipfits were an absolute game changer, one of the best pieces of gear I've ever bought hands down
Cool, excited to test
Fun watching your channel grow
Thanks for being part of it!
I hope you show a bit of the heating and molding process you use for the Intuition and Zip Fit liners. This might be something I would do in the future.
Please get us video on liner molding!
Great comment, will feature in my next video!
Seeing people like you develop your channel always puts a smile on my face. Keep it up Champ

Tickled "pink" to see you are testing the blaze line!
Love the pun!
Looks like you are in for a busy season, have fun.
Thanks Elliott. Sounds like a busy ski season for you and your channel.
I am really looking froward to the Corvus Review. I hoped you will review them this winter. I am super excited that my dream come true.

Agreed with intuition. I've got hundreds of days on mine but have had to use boot fitting foams a couple of times on the heel/ankle pockets
I ski in Zipfits and they were fine from day one for me. I think this will be the 6th season in them in the same boot with about 30 days a season for the last 2 years.
Any recommendations on heat molding them?

Thank you for your work! I would love to see some Dynastar skis reviews, especially new M-Pro.
I did the mpro 90 last year but have pretty limited access to dynastar skis overall, will certainly try though!

Interested in the intuition liners. Love my booster straps!
Booster imo is such a good bang for your buck improvement that so many people skip

Have the Citadel 106. Awesome ski. More versatile than you would think at that width. Kind of my every day ski out west.
Awesome, excited to test them

Salomon Stance 90 would be nice to have on the docket this season.
I'm actually going to address this comment in the next video so keep an eye out!
Had to click just for those pink Volkls lol
Haha thanks Angelina, been enjoying all your content this season so far!

I'd like to see an extensive review of the liners. There are not many independent reviews out there
Yeah I'm excited to test it out. I've also got a bunch of footbeds to test so I think what I'll do is test those in my standard liners as a control.
What Skis Are You Guys most excited about? Thanks for watching!
Dynastar M-Pro
the liner reviews! been looking to get zipfits. would be nice to see you weigh in on the hype before i do.

Any chance you could review Moment skis.
I would love to if I can get my hands on a pair
you should do a review of the black diamond helio 104!!
Would love to test but have no access and the local demo shops don't carry them
Just curious if you've reached out to Kastle about trying some skis??
Great question, short answer: yes I have. Long answer with explanation will be featured in my next video!
Those special boot liners from zip fit, I am curious how they feel like. So far, I am enjoying my Salomons Select 80 Wides with the standard liner, elevated by 3mm sole insert.
Yeah I have never had non-oem liners so I'm very excited to test
zipfits should be in every boot. I truly believe they work for everybody.
Thoughts on Nordica Enforcer 104?
Haven't been able to test it, but I loved the new enforcer 99s
Someone need to make a pink binding
I think look might have one?
I'll have the Corvus on Snow Next week at Whistler, I ski on the Atris and the Nocta, I had the original Corvus but I had they were too stiff for me.
I installed the Cast 2.0 on them
Serpo??
Not yet, but it's on my radar
