Chris is such a beast, especially after the 7 everests effort he completed not too long ago.
Life is unfair sometimes... Look at them float uphill what the heck like gravity went backwards..

I laughed really hard just as soon as the robot appeared.
I love how at the start Ben seemed at best irritated about having to carry the robot around, and now they are the best of pals

This series has inspired me to commute to work on the bike for the first time in over 18months (54 km) round trip. Whilst not quite as dramatic as your ride I did almost get taken out by a peacock running across the road in front of me. Keep up the great content.

I'm glad I found this channel. Looked a brilliant trip, I'll probably never get to do anything like that, so it's good to see some other people enjoying it. What bikes were you using.
I live in Switzerland, so a bit of precision: cannabis is kind of more or less "tolerated" in some place, it's not legal.
What is strange is that selling it is illegal, only some quantities are allowed to be on oneself (but it's grey zone, police can be strict or less) for self-smoking...
You're now in place clsoe to where I was living some years ago, enjoy 😊 (even if not easy, between Lausanne and Geneva, there are only a few roads so for bicycle there's always a lot of traffic, there's no small traffic road.

6:27 - the Col de l'Aiguillon! Doing a round trip to there and back from Lausanne on my road bike is a big ride, so impressive to be doing that and more with all that gear.

A bit of Weed is not strictly 'legal', but Police won't bother you about it. Sadly bike riding is really stressful in parts of Switzerland. Glad you guys are well.

You mentioning the cracks in the road remind me of the ones caused by the extreme heat out in Death Valley and Grand Canyon - properly pummel you as you’re riding along.

It’s how I “found” Francis’ channel - the Project USA episodes popped up - no idea what I was searching for - and then discovered the Death Valley episodes, and was saying (to the TV), yep I’ve been there, yep I know that bit, yep, I know that view etc. recently met him - check out his “A bike ride worth hearing about” episode. He’s a top young man, seriously humble and down to earth, and, genuine.

As a French person who used to ride bikes in Switzerland I can just concur about the driving, those swiss are just insane.
As a Swiss living in Switzerland,I can confirm. Somehow drivers hate every cyclist. Sad story.
But also drivers are more insane in the French part of Switzerland. And I'm from the French part.
@@SwiCyc C'est pas idyllique en France non plus, que ce soit en ville ou sur les petites routes de campagne je ne compte plus les fois ou j'ai eu très peur, même en Alsace ou j'ai vécu longtemps ou il y a une culture vélo très répandue, on retrouve régulièrement des pièges anti VTT dans les chemins.
Mais en Suisse tu sens que tu gênes tout le monde, que de facto t'as pas le droit d'être là.
CBD is legal, THC is tolerated for personal consumption.
It‘s legal to have Cannabis on you, for personal consumption, as long as it is not more than 10grams. If you carry more than 10, you‘ll get at least a 100chf penalty.
Oh and there is basically a big difference in Culture in Switzerland, between French speaking Swiss, and German speaking ones.
At least in the German speaking part, they dont all openly spliff at the Mc Donalds, at least for the childrens sake. And the „french“ guys are the most laziest of all CH residents. Cheers - enjoy
