am I better at Italian when I'm drunk? (SUB ITA)

- I've been wanting to test this out since forever. I've always heard people say they're better at speaking a different language when they're drunk.... So HERE WE GO!!! Also, wow I'm really bad at Italian. No matter how many years pass I never get better at speaking. Or grammar.

Bailey: Vaffanculo
Why is drunk Bailey literally my last brain cell in any situation??
Absolutely nobody:
Bailey's brain:
L'UOMO FOCACCINA!
L'UOMO FOCACCINA?!
L'UOMO FOCACCINA CHE VIVE NELLA FARINA
L uomo focaccina😂 boh non so che scrivere :(ciao
Bailey: why does "sono" mean both "I am" and "they are"?
The English language: literally has no verb declinations whatsoever except for the "s" in the third person singular
GIRL XD
Frr lmaoo
U have no idea how much more difficult are german or slovenian, much worst.... Anyway is, io sono ( i am), and loro sono (they are).... She forgot another way: sono le mie chiavi (are my key). If u want to be more confuse the verb u are is: tu sei... Sei means even 6... or she is would be like lei è (è menas essere that menas sono)(that is the feminin way, but u can use for man in the way of respect, young people use that way to speak with unknown older mans and lady) 😂 English is more easy... but so basic. 😁✌️🇮🇹
Ps. Slovenian have a specific way to speak when u speak about 1/2/or more persons.... Like romans in the past....
Like:
I go
We 2 go (but specific word)
We go
😳
That's the comment I've been looking for
'La torta nel piatto è la nostra' I don't know who speak Italian like this 😂 I would say instead 'La torta nel piatto è nostra' as Bailey wrote. I'm Italian 💁♀️
Yeah but it also depends on context, and if you want to make a contrast/comparison you might say it like Duolingo. Still, I would NOT have counted that as a mistake honestly 😅😂
Lo so... Anche io ero confusa
This makes sense if you want to empathize that is YOURS and not anyone else's
when i’m drunk, i speak Latin and ancient Greek better than italian.
the problem?
i’m italian.
:’D
Capisco cosa si prova
luci40 ci capiamo allora.
weird flex, but ok
Liceo Classico non é vero?
Caput est ipse
Bailey, an English native speaker: the fact that "sono" is both "i am" and "they are"... wtf dude? why can't you have two different words for these two very different things?
the English language: tu = you. voi??? yeah that's "you" as well
Also, almost every verb: I, you, we, you, they... Eat, sleep, think, dream, walk, fight, smoke etc...
Not to mention can, must, could, should etc... Which are the same even in the 3rd person XD
There is a difference. Usually, when you say, for example, they are all 18 years old, in Italian it's "Loro sono tutti diciottenni", everyone usually writes Loro (them) too. If you were already talking about Loro (them) with a friend and the conversation is continued you don't have to say loro again, just sono, and everyone understands, so if after a friends said that they are all 18 years old, and I want to answer with, they are all very tall, It can be like this: "E sono molto alti" E means and. It would be weird not to say it. So yeah maybe there is less difference in italian, but it's still there, and trust me there's other european languages with MUUUCH more totally fucked and stupid grammar, that stayed the same because history.. like germans and their three different ways to say a pronoun for the same word depending in what sentence it is used...
^THIS
Italian is a complicated language. Deal with it.
Ho pensato la stessa cosa😂
“I want to name my first son LUCELLO” no, ti prego, non farlo. NON FARLO.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA SONO MORTA
Hhahhahahahahaha
Mi sto immaginando le battute
HAHAHAHAHAH Grandissimo
8:28 yeah... shall we have a talk about the english language? the fact that there are things like through, throughout, tough, thought, thorough, trough, though and throw... or the fact that "you" is supposed to mean both "tu" and "voi", or the flammable and inflammable question.. and I've got plethora of other things to mention but I hope you get the idea lol.
Oh God, I feel bad as soon as I see all these thougoththougthoutgdthd stuff..
I can't understand why nobody is saying that:
NON SEI STUPIDA, OKAY?!
Ce la farai, you are amazing 🥰🥰🥰
Actually "recognizing patterns" is what matters the most I'd dare to say.
One can always expand its vocabulary but the fact you're getting accustomed to the architecture of the period is an HUGE step forward in learning Italian (perhaps any language in general).
Brava! A round of applause!
4:01 that “Mangiano” sounded sooo italian, that was really good!
Bailey complaining about the fact that "Sono" means "I am" and "they are"
English:
I can
You can
He can
We can
You can
They can
In English they always specify the pronoun, In Italian we usually avoid pronouncing it
Confermo da italiana
L'UOMO FOCACCINA?
L'UOMO FOCACCINAAAAAA
Che vive nella farina?

when some foreign friend of mine says "I want to learn Italian" I will show him this video😂😂
Proud of you 😎👍
Girl you are very very good in Italian! Believe in yourself! A lot of Italian people don’t even try to Lear English!
As someone who speaks 5 languages, I can tell you that recognising patterns is a very good thing when learning a new language. It's not "cheating", it's just a bonus. Anything that helps you communicate correctly is a positive thing.
When you speak a different language, try actually thinking in said lnguage and try to go with the flow, consider what sounds more "natural" to you, instead of stressing over grammar, and I think you'll improve, even if only just a tiny bit. It may also boost your confidence.
If you pick up things from daily life and from your usual interactions, sentence structure patters become somewhat clearer, making them way easier. Or well, this is what I have experienced myself, but I hope this different approach can help you.
lmao watching this while being actually italian is one of the best things i can do to spend my life lolol ily
You're adorable and actually your Italian improved so much! And you're so funny too. Also, I have Shrek in my head 24/7 too it's tuning into a problem.

You are so good to speck Italian!!! You learn so fast , I think the American is so difficult to speck for Italian people but the Italian for the American people is difficult too!!!!! ❤️✨
Mythbusters are literally part of our childhoods in italyyyyyy, love ‘em
The fact that drunk Bailey is very similiar to sober Bailey is frightening.
Greetings from Italy :3
Americans learn Italian: "le mele sono mie"
Italians learn English: "The pen is on the table"
Ps. I am Italian. Saluti da Milano ( Hi from Milan)
Greetings from Milan forse è meglio
@@pallotm Forse e meglio anche learning
Actually you can say "La torta nel piatto è nostra", without "la", just like in English.
You could say "La nostra" when you refer to a specific cake among other ones.
5:41 i am dead. that's some of the worst phrasing I've ever seen in my life
I wish this channel had like a million subs
It REALLY deserves that
You should watch shrek in Italian or learn the song "welcome to duloc" in italian!
You're really good!!!!!! Keep studying it and you'll become very good at it, I know Italian can be very trick (I am italian lol) but it's a really beautiful language! And your pronounce is already good💅
From an italian girl:

Love you, your channel, your vids and your dedication into trying to learn our difficult language, WE ALL ROOT FOR YOU!🤭💗
Hope you'll get to see Carlo soon, things are getting better over here in Italy.🇮🇹
Cari saluti da Napoli!❤️🍝🍕
Ps. We don't say "è non" to make a negative sentence: we put the negative particle first, so we say "non è".
That has to be applied to all verbs and conjugations.✨
Nessuno:

"why cant'you have two different words for those two different things?"
"you" in english: am i a joke to you?
When you said that you don't know if your brain is actually learing italian grammar or not,I felt that because I'm Italian and I don't understand italian grammar either
Bailey i love you hahaha u made me laugh so much 😂 and i love your drunk italian, as an Italian, I APPROVE 😎🔥

You improved so much 😍
Hi from Italy ❤ you're getting better and better
I know some German but when I get drunk I become a native german and that's what my less drunk Austrian friend told me cause I was wasted
You're so good!! I love you so much!!! ❤️❤️ PS I'm Italian
Girl, your room is beautiful! 😍
Duolingo; the best friend of whoever would like to learn a language XD - btw, it's also a picky app, either you say "sono mie le mele" or "le mele sono mie" is the same. I had the same thing when I was learning English. Keep going on this path, you'll do lots achievement! ;)
bailey: why do you have the same word to say io sono and essi sono, can't they be different??
english language: i had, you had, he had, we had, you had, they had
Meravigliosa Bailey, sei bravissima! Odio quell’uccello ahah 🦜
Yeah I know the serie you talked about in the end of the video, I used to watch it when I was 7 years old... AAAAND NOW I MISS IT, DAMNIT!
And huhhh... Sorry if my grammar maybe isn't correct or something if I spelled something wrong, ma sono italiana che ne so io, l'inglese che impariamo a scuola fa schifo! (Ti people who don't know Italian, I said "but I'm Italian, I don't know, the English that we learn in school sucks!")
Btw I like your videos so much and you're not that bad after all
Mythbusters or "miti da sfatare" was one of my favorite TV shows a few years ago, it was so interesting✨🤯
ti ho scoperta adesso. Ti adoro!!! ❤️❤️❤️
You are so funny!!! (Sei così divertente!!!) P.S: Sono italiano. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 You've got a new subscriber 😀
Nobody:
Literally nobody:
Bailey: L'uomo focaccina!
Being drunk just gets rid of the fear that people have speaking another language. That’s why you seem better
5.33 so u say I'm always in your head? That's fantastic
Unrelated but your hair is looking so good!!
L'intro più bella di sempre 😂❤️
No one:

Just kidding love u🥰
Your vaffanculo is top🤣❤️
Hahaha u r so funny and so pretty !! Also I been subbed since 20,000 babbyyyy
By the way, Mythbusters there's her in Italy too, it's just the American version but dubbed after.
more of this pls, is too funny, non per forza da ubriaca ;'D
comincerò a usare "come stai Bitches" ogni giorno
ngl I was pretty impressed by your Scottish accent 😂😂
