There's a random civillian who starts off infected besides the one Baby controls at the start. He could also just stay in his spawn, since he spawns in a civillian hiding spot. Then there's the fact that you don't hear a heartbeat when he's near. I did have one game where we started the STM when he was still level 1, but that might have been more Baby's fault than just bad luck.
Granted Baby's a new raider and people haven't found out ways to counter him yet, but oh boy, was the first match I had playing as him E A S Y. Although, getting out of evolution level 1 is a bit tricky if you don't find people or civilians around.
As an addition to this comment: The civilians radar SHOWS 1st level baby approaching you from a decent distance, which gave me enough time to think "oh, something's not right-DAMN WATCH OUT!" and get out of the danger zone. So get a civilian radar ASAP!
They aren't actually randomly generated. Those are all the Survivors that have been downed at least once by Baby. When he goes Level 3, that is actually those survivors being forced to go to Baby and give him energy. They even get sent somewhere else after they get control back.
I'll give it a couple weeks to have him figured out, then we'll see if he's really that broken to the point of being unbeatable he'll get nerfed quick either way, I'm still glad every older raiders getting proper attention
Introducing the omni-raider that can just do the best of every other raider is probably the worst decision I've ever seen the devs do for this game. Can't wait to never see the other 7 raiders ever again because, well... Who doesn't want to be the most powerful raider with the way raider queue works? Best part of the season is just the level bug. I'll admit, I was rolling on the floor when I saw a level 168 Baby in my lobby when I played with my friends!
I think maybe if survivors can run bad transpheres, it could make it so that Baby's minions that happen to be possessed survivors that end up being crap summons. I'm not 100% sure, but I'm still learning more on Baby Raider.
He’s really interesting but seems… Really safe, between insta downing people in stage one and removing an active skill from downed players until supplies drop, and having a Great Ape form without having something like the katana to use, but idk maybe I’m wrong and people will figure out how to deal with him in a few weeks lmao

Nothing, Lvl 1 Baby is invincible and immune to stuns.
