- This is a full review of both the ranch hand legend and summit bumpers. As well as a post accident cost of repair breakdown after hitting a calf at 55 MPH.

I hit a calf with an arb bullbar (australia) and had no damage. Funny to see that this bar (or the brackets) didn't do the one thing it advertised to do...

If you operate a crane sir you understand a little better of load and extended weight but I agree probably not enough that anyone would notice maintenance issues unless they are just rough on there vehicle
Each impact is its own.
Get a moose bumper. For livestock that are taller than the bumper.
Heard the gr bumpers are built better

RanchHand is pricey (I just put the legend bullnose on my Ram 2500), but worth the price. Watch the tour from the channel BigTruckBigRv .
I feel they’re well made and worth the cost. Especially considering the cost of trucks lately. I know a lot of people say “just let insurance cover it” but a hit to the bare front end will result in a ton of damage and the truck will be at the body shop for ages. Id rather the number take the hit and get small damages repaired. And I did watch that video you’re referring to. Big fan of JD and BTBRV. Thanks for checking out my channel!

Love there bumpers just don’t love the cost
I got lucky, mine came with the wrong mounts and I finally got the right ones but they gave me a full refund for my hassle making it free.
They’re worth it though.
