  • Roti Jala literally meaning "Net Bread", is a popular Malay tea time snack served with curry dishes which can be found in Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore. I really love to make these tender net crepes for breakfast or dinner. They are so tender and delicious as it absorbs all the flavour in the curry in to it when you dip them.
    Ingredients
    3 cup all purpose flour
    1/4 tsp turmeric powder
    1 tsp salt
    1 egg
    2 cups of water
1 cup evaporated milk/ thick coconut milk
    2 1/2 tablespoon vegetable oil
A bunch of pandan leaves (rampe leaves to sprinkle oil, optional)
1/4 cup ghee or oil to sprinkle
Roti jala bottle ( use any plastic bottle, puncture three small holes on the lid.)
