FYI: It's grille not grill.
Think I'll wait until someone makes the grille replacement so that I can place the original back on when I sell the car.

I want to upgrade the look of my 2017 elantra by changing the front and rear bumper to the sport edition ones. I was wondering if they would fit or not?

I’ve seen customers install the mesh on Limited models but I’m not sure what (if any) extra modification was done to fit it in properly.
It’s exactly the same
It is not exactly the same. They are very similar but there is a different bolt pattern on the grille between Sport and Limited. The overall shape is the same, but the cutouts for the mesh tab locations are ever so slightly different. If you look at the back of the stock grilles for both trim levels, you'll see what I'm referring to. You can email me directly at info@customcargrills.com and I can show some comparison pictures if it's not easy to spot.

The only glue I can use for this? There isn’t a cheaper alternative? Asking for a friend…
There's others which are similar that can work, but they will all be around the same price and require the same applicator. On a budget, bondo could work for the repair portion although this may lead to cracking issues later on.
For the bonding of the mesh to the frame, Automotive Goop could work but you'll need to be experienced on how to manage that while it cures or else it could run all over the grille and ruin it.

When you say a flat black finish, what kind of spray paint did you use? Cheers great look.
Our flat black finish is powder coat, not a spray paint.

@@thisisntsergio1352 I don't. The flat black powder coat we use on the mesh is not something you'll be able to find online. The flat black spray paint we used on the plastic surround is SprayMax 2K Matte Black.

To the mesh of my knowledge, no, it would not work.

So it’s $79.99 on your website for just the grille mesh piece? 🤔 it’s $84.99 for the complete grille on eBay .
I don’t doubt it. Cheap China grilles are popping up everywhere. No way any I can even remotely come close to that price for a completed grille.

I guess there's nothing special about it, other than it's pre-cut & pre-formed specifically for the Elantra. The sheets that we sell of this style are $60, and we are charging an extra $20 to do the labor and make sure that it's a proper. If that's not worth it to you, then make your own.

To the best of my knowledge, the non-sport model is a little different. I don't believe that the piece we sell with be a perfect fit for the non-sport without additional modification to either the grill or our mesh piece.
I seen people with the mesh grill and it wasn’t a sport. The front is not different
I have seen a couple non-sport owners make this fit. They said that some minor modifications to the mesh is needed to make it work. To the best of my knowledge, there are some subtle differences with the sport and non-sport grille.

From the FAQ's on the page I previously linked, in regard to it fitting non-sport models: Yes & No. The overall shape and size of the mesh fits the non-sport BUT behind the scenes the cutouts for the mounting tabs are a little different. Some cuts and adjustments are needed to get the mesh piece to work. So, yes, it can fit a non-sport but some extra modification is needed to get it to fit other trim levels.

The mesh piece we sell does fit the non-sport models (to some extent).
The overall shape and size of the mesh works BUT behind the scenes the cutouts for the mounting tabs are a little different. Will a tow hook fit through the slits?
A tow hook will not go through the mesh. A hole would need to be cut for it to pass through.
What paint did you use? Was it from rattle cans?
On the inner part of the stock grille, I used Spraymax 1k trim paint matte black.
