News Conference at Snead State

Thank you to everyone who joined us Tuesday during a special news conference when we celebrated a great accomplishment! Recent data compiled by the Alabama Community College System showed that Snead State has the highest rate of transfer students of any community college in the state! It was a great day of celebration with former students, faculty and staff, representatives from ACCS, and our community supporters. The event concluded with the signing of a Financial Aid Consortium agreement between Snead State and Jacksonville State University that allows SSCC students to utilize federal financial aid, if eligible, to apply toward costs of one of three specific JSU courses while students are enrolled in an education or criminal justice program of study at Snead State.
