Meet CS Lecturer Jacob Strickler

Tennessee Tech University’s Jacob Strickler - one of nine new faculty members who recently joined the Department of Computer Science - has plenty of insights to share, as well as words of encouragement for computer science students.
Strickler is not only a CS faculty member but a recent Tech graduate, having earned his master’s degree in 2023 and bachelor’s in 2021. He teaches object-oriented programming and design and has a strong interest in cybersecurity, especially in the area of social engineering.
He’s excited for his computer science career to take flight at Tech, and the department is privileged to have his expertise!
