The bridge has a lot less stats overall, and the best role for Dialga (stealth rocker that's also a good special check to a lot of the tier) can't be done by Archaludon due to its lower special defense There's no point on doing it as a physical wall because there's nothing really Dialga walls anyways so there is no real point on using it as a physical wall. The only thing Archaludon gets that Dialga doesn't is Electro shot, meaning it's stuck in rain teams, which have a ton of issues in the tier.
Damp Rock / Drizzle were the problem imo. If you watched the SPL games, Raging Bolt and Barraskewda were just as OP on Rain, with the former being absurdly fast + Strong (dealing 80+% damage to a resist like dragpult) and the latter could tech weather ball so it would have no counters. Rain itself also felt match-up fishy when I used it on the ladder. There are a lot of very difficult MUs, whether it be against stall, HStack, SD Superpower Ogerpon-W, Serp, etc. I gave up using rain after retrying on multiple alts because of this For these reasons, I voted DNB. Unfortunate that arch still got banned. IMO Ogerpon-W and Roaring Moon will get more OP now since Arch was one of the better checks to them. Defensive Arch in G-Terrain was also a good presence.
The problem too is they gave all gen 9 Pokemon perfect coverage and overtuned their stats. And if you’ve found a way to position your check in, they can Tera and beat you Meowscarada, Great Tusk, Valiant, Arch, Ghold

Encore it, use trick with choice scarf, put it to sleep, switch in with drought, whirlwind, it use focus sash to absorb a hit, use an immune tera to buy a turn. Fairy tera is immune to draco, ground tera is immune to electro shot, ghost tera is immune to body press, flash cannon has weaknesses and isn't a high base power. I mean is swords dance extreme speed fair? or any of the other OUs genuinely over used and continuing to dominate the ranks?

Gen 9 will be remembered as the 'Mess!' And i thought Gen 6 ORAS was the biggest mess we had to deal with! So many pokemon keep getting banned in singles. If every pokemon is OP, aren't all? I would like to purpose a week-long test! 'Banless!' Allow ALL previous banned pokemon back into the meta game and see if those pokemon are still major issues or if any of those banned pokemon could be kept in to balance out the rest of the tier!
They tried something like that when Indigo Disc was released. Not all, but certain Pokemon were allowed back into OU. This actually allowed roaring moon and Gliscor back into OU if I'm not wrong
Imagine calling someone a casual player because you forgot the special attack stat exists. Or phasing to get rid of those boosts. Or weather that isn’t rain. Or ground coverage. The bubble effect is real when you’re calling someone a casual because you’re stuck thinking inside the box.

Obviously those weren't enough, and at lower Elo those aforementioned "checks" still can hold on, as the archaludon users will probably just spam it without thought. But actually good players will know how to use it well. Rain is really really good right now, so bringing other weather is a good try but they don't necessarily match up well into rain. It's been 3 months since archaludon was introduced. You do indeed have some good points, and there are certainly good checks like clodsire, that's why it took so long for even a suspect test to be initiated.

Yea because Pokemon tend to balance their Pokemon on a doubles format. Gamefreak is obviously never gonna ban a Pokemon even if it's OP because they wanna make money. Singles format of Pokemon is just a place where people want to battle in a singles format in a competitive environment

Hazard spam is still ubiquitous. Stall would rather use Sticky Hold HDB Hydrapple than Corviknight because Gholdengo simply exists.
