Dimitrov is one of the most underrated tennis players
On the contrary, I think he is a bit overrated. People have been waiting for him to live up to his potential, but now in the later stages of his career I cant see him progressing any further. He had one or two good years in terms of success, he had some good run ins in the slams as well, but in general he has been struggling for consistency, loosing his matches against lower ranked opposition in the first rounds of a tournament way too often for years now, also lacking mental strength, often loosing the tight games when having the opportunity to serve for the set or match. Its a good thing he is able to have one or two good runs in the big tournaments throughout the year so he could retain his ranking. On his day he could make some good shots and be entertaining, but in general he makes lots of unforced errors and serving was never his thing. So, it is quite hard to watch and support him sometimes, but nevertheless everybody loves him and is very appreciated especially in his homecountry.
