    10 RMB for the Kiwano fruit is quite affordable! I do occasionally see these fruits around in the supermarket here in Singapore, but they are a lot more expensive and actually, usually they are from New Zealand. So you might be able to find them in Australia too.

      Are you sure Kiwano is from New Zealand not Nigeria or somwhere? I don't see them anywhere in New Zealand. We have Kiwifruits in New Zealand.

    It looks like the cuisine in Yunnan province shares similarities with cuisine from Thailand, Laos and Cambodia. Very nice!

    Big mistake watching this right before dinner time because I was absolutely famished watching this! And is it just me or is Amy’s videos getting more and more entertaining… literally LOLed while riding the metro! 😂😂 You are so refreshing Amy just like the lemongrass-garlic-chili-powder-whack-bang-of-a-combo!!!

    I was there in Nov 2019! Brought back so many memories. I loved this night market so much that I went twice in my 3 days there😂 wonder if we had the grills at the same stall!

    It's definitely not a good idea to watch this when you are hungry. It makes me drool. ^.^
    But that jackfruit with sticky rice and the spiky fruit is the most that I want to try. :)

    Amy, that fruit (horned melon?) is available here in Australia. I first saw it in Sydney (must’ve been something like Top Juice) I thought it looked so odd that I asked them what it was and they gave me a piece to try! I’m from Guangzhou and have been back to visit a gazillion times + been to other cities in China but had no idea this city existed! It looks amazing, the atmosphere is buzzing 💕

    You seem to be at the Starlight Night Market in Xishuangbanna. You should go and experience the Dai dance. Yes, there are bars with Dai performances

    for christmas my mom created a tradtion of having "exotic fruits" when i was a kid. I remember the horned melon - I didn't like the flaovr that much, but it was fun to look at and fun to eat

    Been there in 2019 , love that place . you are right there are many other shaokao places cheaper and better .
    Do try the Buffalo Hotpot there.

    This place reminds me of Rod Fai train market in Bangkok… the 凉拌 concept is like som tam? With slightly different ingredients. And the girls taking pics are wearing Ayutthaya costumes!

    Basically commonThai food and snacks except that it's in southern China!! Tom yam king must be there somewhere. Thai pork/ spawn BBQ. Do jot forget mango in coconut milk. Lightly salted to due for

    That fruit, the Kiwano, we have in most supermarkets in Sydney. First time I saw those was back in the 1970s Adelaide (I'm old). They taste okay as a fruit in fruit salad, but nothing special. Like Star Fruit - they look cool but they're not much to taste.
