- Schools, hospitals, theatres and office buildings under construction must include separate lavatories for men and women, government minister Kemi Badenoch has ordered. The legal requirement for developers in England to include gender-specific lavatories comes after schoolchildren were avoiding using gender-neutral lavatories because they did not want to share them with the opposite sex. A Whitehall source said: “it is vital that women feel safe and comfortable when using public facilities and that there is a greater emphasis on provision that is focused on dignity, privacy, tolerance and respect for all.”

They only allowed it at first because there wasn't enough toilets in the bathrooms!

@@obflow8308 I agree with that idea. There should be a gender neutral bathroom if you chose not to use the bathroom/locker room of your bio sex. Womens spaces should be preserved.

I haven't seen any in my area Nottinghamshire I didn't even know this was a thing until I saw random short 😅. I had to search UA-cam just confirm it wasn't a sketch.
I've encountered plenty of bathrooms clearly turned into gender-neutral restrooms in Denmark and Sweden. You could tell by the fact there were two bathrooms next to each other, but somehow they were both gender neutral. I also heard from a friend about a case where they turned bathrooms into gender-neutral ones at a university in Spain.
In the UK, and in Poland where I live, I've never seen those though.

@@pamh1648 can I ask why? Has anyone actually been attacked by creepy men there (more than normal toilets) or is it just your feelies?
The solution is simple create three bathrooms:
1: Woman's bathroom
2. Men's bathroom
3. Gender Neutral bathroom for anyone who doesn't want to use 1 or 2.
Now, what is happening is that 1 and 2 are being scrapped in favour for only 3 which is wrong. What instead should happen is that you should give people a choice and not force your will upon them.
Guess again. #1 and #3 are what exists. You just have an issue with equality by getting rid of #2 because now WOMEN will also have no choice!
