i feel like you showed such a vulnerable side in this video, and it was so nice to watch - you are truly one of the most relatable influencers because you aren't afraid to say what's really on your mind 💌
I’ve been working in PR for a few years now and beyond traditional reporter databases, Twitter is your best friend for finding and connecting with editors and reporters. Many are so responsive and open to Twitter pitches
I relate to this so much Natalie! I'm incredibly grateful to have an overwhelmingly supportive audience the same size as yours, but constantly dreading negativity and carrying the weight of thousands of opinions is exhausting. Following your lead and setting app limits and healthier working hours to start this week off on the right foot 👏 x
When i watch u work it motivates me to do something. I work 50 hrs a week on my day job and feel exhausted now i have to work my brand im just starting and i feel so tired but i will start afer your video. Have a great day everyone!!
i've been absolutely loving your content recently. i'm struggling a ton with my mental health/anxiety due to increased work load from my job and also just feeling like i can't ever leave the computer (wfh life amiright). it's so comforting to watch your videos thank you for sharing your experiences with us
I worked for several PR companies in NYC and to guide you with your jewelry client -- try publications such as The Zoe Report, The Editorialist, Man Repller, Nylon,, Bustle, She Finds. Also a editor searching tool I highly recommend is Cision! You can find ANYONE'S contact information and numerous publications you haven't heard of!
I loved the real chats. Masking something is totally valid. Thank you for showing the hard periods of growth in entrepreneurship. I can relate + the part about media attn 🙏🏽 truth! It’s a freakin marathon 💨
LOVE your reminder to not look at my phone first thing in the morning Natalie. That has become a rule in my life and I've been so much calmer and present.
After I watched "The Social Dilemma", I took some of my social media apps off my phone (Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok). I use social for work too but mostly LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook. I decided that the platforms I felt addicted too needed to be removed. I now spend way less time on my phone and when I want to check in I just go on my computer. Making it less easily accessible helps, you need to be mindful of your time.
Wow, this is inspiring me to watch that it! I really want to get to a point where I’m not reaching for my phone when I’m not doing anything. I want to train myself to only check it when I receive notifications (which is not very often) 😆
Hi Natalie, I really REALLY enjoyed this video. I found it so insightful and also I always love your honesty in your videos. I am currently struggling with a lot of work anxiety as well and I definitely am going to take your advice and try to be more structured.
Hi Natalie, you should check out The Social Dilemma on Netflix if you haven't already! It takes about why we spend so much time on social media and how they make it addictive. Highly recommend!
I haven’t done the app limits through iPhone, but in the settings on Instagram you can set a reminder so it tells you when you’ve been on the app for a specified amount of time. I like doing it that way so I’m aware when I’ve spent 1 hour of my day on it already, then I try not to go on it for the rest of that day but I still have the option to if I change my mind! It’s definitely helped me lower my Instagram screen time
MY QUEEN!!! Was in the middle of taking your advice (what's new) and setting screen time when I saw my face!!! Such a fun conversation with you ❤️ thank you thank you x1million
I like setting my limit to 30 minutes and then only let myself ignore limit for 15 minutes once at a time, it’s really helped bring my screen time down bc i’m more conscious about my time on it
Thanks for appreciating the art work that goes behind to create Indian wedding dresses. As an Indian & your subscriber it brings such joy. Most countries know about India only through spicy curries, Butter Chicken, Biriyani & Bollywood which consists dramatic films but Indian cinema & food palette is more than that. Please do read books written by Indian authors who are worldly recognized for their beautiful creations and watch movies not the typical glitzy ones but far more thoughtful and creative. Stay safe Natalie 😘
It’s definitely a process to stop caring, I literally just made a video about not caring what people think (mostly as a reminder to myself lol) but it’s hard to not stress over not stressing. Like that part is frustrating, getting mad at yourself that you care so much. We got this though 💗
You should watch The Social Dilemma on Netflix if you haven't already! Also, something that really helped me with restricting social media for mental health reasons was turning off all notifications except for text messages. In time, I noticed that the urge to check my phone really started to decrease because I was thinking about it less as a result of not seeing/hearing notifications come up all the time. I also try to turn my phone completely off often because that really helps me!
Do you think some anxiety comes from just being in NC and not around the hustle of NY? I personally feel that every time I go home. Like idk if I could work in NC again because I’m so used to the hustle and push of NY. I fear I would get lazier or unmotivated back in NC 😖
Beautiful vlog! Made me feel a lot better, as I've been struggling with my own mental health this week, despite how glowy things look from the outside. Side note: are you still using Thematic for your music selections? I love how the music is chill, yet upbaeat.
@@NatalieBarbu Seems like the most popular source of music! Not ready to make the leap into a subscription, but great to know it's got yet another UA-cam who recommends it.
I realize I'm spending too much time on my phone, Its taking over so much of my life and gets me down. I hope to find tips too and increase my productivity!
Thanks for talking about mental health, I am working on mine as well so I spent today doing a cleanse on my Instagram following. By the way, I'm not sure if you are trying to be quiet in the morning because you're at home but it's been hard to hear you in the beginning of your videos sometimes. I just turn up the volume, but thought you should know :)

proud of you Nat ;) we’re killing it in CLT 😘
Love you so much!!
I wonder if there is a way to combine screen time throughout all the IOS devices; iPad, iPhone, and MacBook?
I don't even wanna know
I don't know how but i'm pretty sure you can do it
There definitely is. When you go into you screen time in Settings, the option to combine it should be at the bottom
