Beautiful chair and light shades ..... Anna please wear a mask when sanding. As someone who has always done my own DIY, no matter how little , it will go on your chest.... I now regret not wearing a mask, I suffer terrible with breathing , I now have acute Asthma which I never had until 8 years ago . So please sweetie protect your lungs x
It’s quite remarkable how we all witnessed Anna and Philipp rubbing off on each other. Anna painting a chair reddish orange (Philipp’s favorite color) and Philipp creating greenish ( Anna’s favorite color) cyber Murano light fixtures!!!! Both look great and I love the creations that can be made on a 3-D printer!! I can’t wait to see the fabric you select for the chair. ❤
For anyone interested 😊 I watched a guy screw a screw into the base of each leg turn it upright so chair standing on screws. This enabled him to paint right to the bottom of each leg without sticking to anything. Handy if you had a whole lot of painting to do.
My 14 year old grandson bought himself a 3D printer, and made me a little pond-dock for my Christmas village. He is going to make me walls and gates that look like stone. Those printers are amazing. The only thing I need to do is supply him with filaments. Thanks for introducing us to this amazing technology!!
Phillip, your beautiful lamp reminds me of our Slovenian Meblo lights! 😀 It looks just like something out of golden times of Yugoslavian design. Meblo was one of the most important furniture companies in Yugoslavia, and they also made decor pieces. It was located in Nova Gorica (present day Slovenia) and it had its own design department with famous designers like Oskar Kogoj and architect Ljerka Finžgar. In the 70s Meblo cooperated with Italian company Harvey Guzzini. Your lamp reminds of those lamps which are highly sought after collector items nowadays. Good eye and good job! 😀
Impressed about the versatile funcionality of the 3D printer. Technology has evolved. CyberMurano is not only a potential start for a beautiful adventure, but also Philip has redefined the whole concept of mancave haha
The chair and lampshades look terrific, cannot wait to see them in action (and the chair fabric reveal!). You guys are just amazing! I recently started reupholstering dining room chairs for my parents that used to belong to my grandparents. They're two mid-century chairs and one from the late 1900s that almost looks like a small throne (elaborate wood carvings and all), so they're completely different styles but my parents love them. So to tie everything together I decided to give them all the same upholstery fabric and to try to match the color of the wood tones (the historical on is oak, not sure about the mid-century ones). Anyway, what surprised me so much is hoooooow freaking long it took to get all of the staples out, and then all the stripping and sanding, it took forever. Getting the new foam and fabric on was done in a flash, but the prep work... Oh my... I guess that's why most furniture flippers don't do chairs, it's just not profitable. I guess even more so it will give meaning to the hard work we do to give those chairs a second life, and we will be reminded each time we sit on them. Great work, Anna! :)
Can't tell if this is one long ad for the printer or Philip's current obsession?! One way or another it was very enjoyable to watch (even though Anna's job seemed quite a bit more physical). The cybermurano is cool and I like Anna's idea of a larger one but can also see a group of smaller ones hung at different heights in a corner somewhere. Impressive! I'm going to look at that 3D printer but already feel it's going to be out of my price comfort zone... Also looking forward to the rebirth of that "reddy-orange" chair! Love how Anna just jumps in and tackles nearly anything that interests her! If only I had her motivation ... maybe another cup of coffee? ❤B
5:50 That olive green translucent lamp you made looks good, a heck of a ton better than the orange pumpkin trick or treating pot. Nice weaving for the chair! Hard work redoing chairs, but so satisfying.
Soon you're going to have your own decor company! I love the colour of the chair. You're both creative and quick. Great ideas and you're always demonstrating that we can do what we set our minds to.
VERY impressed with the weaving of the seat support. That's when what I was viewing exceeded my potential skills, ha! Also, agreed, light is GORGEOUS but too small. Such a cute style, especially illuminated.
Philip you are just a joy to watch....I love your humour so much! The 3D printer is amazing! My son in law has the same one....my little grandson (9) is always showing me little things Daddy made....but nothing like yours! Fantastic! even Ziggy's tag. Sandi x
Anna the chair is going to look great. I really like the light shade you made Phillip. I like Anna's idea of Christmas trees with the 3D printer. You could make all sorts of Christmas decorations and baubles.
As usual, gorgeous job on renewing that chair Anna. And, Philip, beautiful lamp shape and color. And...genius doggy accessories. You guys are the best.
Can't wait to see the finished chair, Anna! 😀 (I found myself wishing you'd worn a mask, just in case, when you took off the upholstery etc, and sanded it.) It's going to look so goooood! Incredible 3D printing Philipp!!! 😃 The possibilities are endless! Love, Jacqueline from New Zealand 🤗
I love the chair renovation. Red is a favourite of mine, taking inspiration from Chinoiserie. The sort of project I love. I can’t wait to see what fabric you choose.
Loving the chair reinvented. Funny colors and how they read on the internet. It’s quite a vibrant red/orange and I’ll bet a deep blue will be fabulous.
Phillip, "If you are not impressed I don't know what impresses you." 😅 It must be so fun to have the skills to do creative projects, then the sky's the limit on what you can do! Anna, did you not show the "levering" technique with the seat straps because that will be part of a future tutorial? Can't wait! Reupholstering has always been something I'd love to learn.
I love this channel. A wonderful family with wonderful values and without the need to have enormous egos and filling everything with pompous adjectives. Your home is gorgeous too.
I so love your videos! That chair is looking good in red but those lampshades are awesome!! I love that you are both so creative. That 3d printer is amazing.
Im loving the red chair and it is a designer thing, as Brooklyn based designer Taylor Migliazzo Simon popularised the idea of adding something red regardless of its size to a room “the unexpected red theory” she did a TikTok explaining it and showing examples which does actually work, I did think Anna was maybe going to paint that bathroom sink cupboard red when they were deciding what colour to paint it
I'm glad you are back again. I missed you both. It's great to have hobbies to keep the mind active. beautiful lamps and the chair will be beautiful too.
Two beautiful projects with an ad that provides thoughtful content woven into the episode. I've sent this one to friends to show what good YT promotions feel like. Well done!
I love when you both have such a creative episode in your flow! The lights are phenomenal, have similar ones above my kitchen island for mid century feel. The chair in that blue room reminds me of swimming in the kelp forests when the sun lights up the kelp to an orangey red in the turquoise water. Truly my favorite color combo. ❤
The chair is beautiful. When you were putting the webbing on it I could really see what a beautiful new life you’ve given the chair. The strength of the webbing will offer many years of comfortable seating. I love the bright color.
In my opinion…I think your chair is 80’s/90’s especially seeing the way its upholstered. In the 50’s they would have used tacks, not staples. Design wise it fits as well. Hi from Melbourne, Australia!
That poor chair sure you will work magic with it maybe bring out all the furniture you stored away and fix them up as bonus content for Christmas ;) I agree something red or orange would give you energy to get on with the day when dressing. Red accents are great for that :) I thought that vase would have made a great light fixture actually creative Philipp :) and the new one is fun as well :)
Phillip's lights are fantastic! Can't wait to see you new line Phillip, have you considered making a small chandelier? And I'm anticipating Anna will use one of her wall paper designs for the chair fabric. It will be the crowing jewel in any room!
Love watching you both with your different creative projects. The chair is very striking Anna & it's not finished yet! Philip the lamps are perfect & when you go into production I'll be purchasing 😅❤
Phillip just a heads up from a nerd, if you printed the lampshade in PLA just be careful with the maximum bulb heat, if high it can remelt the plastic. Might wanna consider PETG or ABS filament but you’ll need to enclose your printer to do them.
I love Murano too! One of the other UA-cam channels I love is the crazy lamp lady in US, oh so embarrassing now to say US😢 Anyway she’s a fabulous thrift and vintage shopper, she buys and sells on ebay and now Niknax. Because of Jocelyn I’ve become a huge Murano fan, there’s nothing like it! Timeless and exquisite. Good job Philip!!
I grew up in the Scottish culture of making everything. All the women made stuff, embroidery, baking, gardening, wallpapering, woodwork, painting, upholstery etc. It didn't occur to us to call in someone and besides we couldn't afford it! From the age of 12 I began to make clothes for the family and even my little brother embroidered his own motorbike patches for his biker jacket ! My sister did macramé and everyone knitted and I did crochet because I wasn't a good knitter.
I think all of our cultures come from making everything. Some cultures have advanced faster than others to rely on others to do things the modern world allows less time for. It is as choice of priorities but also restricted by the skills we have been taught by our ancestors.
Love the light shades Philip, and Anna, re-upholstering of the chair brings back memories of doing our old lounge chair, so much fun. Love the colour too.
Phillip...the green lights are gorgeous ❤ Beautiful shape and my favorite color. Great job! The 3D printer is amazing... I don't understand how it works, but it's very cool. Dear Anna...although I was totally cringing that you didn't wear a mask while ripping that dusty old foam from the chair...I am loving the chair. Great color and beautiful restoration. ❤ Anxious to see which fabric you choose.
Great work from both of you. Ana, look out for a webbing stretcher.... It's the proper tool for doing the webbing on chairs and will make all the difference to the webbing tension that you can achieve. LOVE the lights.... I am feeling influenced😀
I like how this week Anna is embracing the orangey-reds and Phillip the greens😁
Very complementary.

I agree. Deeply. I'm glad I'm not the only one that suggested it.

Gorgeous chair Anna! But even MORE IMPRESSED with Phillip's STUNNING LIGHTS he made!!! Xo from Canada ❤️
I love that you are repurposing your old chair !! It’s going to look great!
Your taste in classical music is exquisite, especially the cello pieces. Your sense of aesthetics is right up there too!
Though I must say, cutting out the middle part of the Bach prelude doesn't go unnoticed 👀
@@timotheedebouville2241 True that
Yeah the lampshade needs to be bigger but it's a lovely shape and I also like the way the light goes through it.

thanks for these tips, will check them out!
There is nothing better than a beautiful chair in an unexpected color. I can’t wait to see how yours turns out!
yes a cliffhanger lol
J'adore Ziggy's forest green collar and new name tag. Ce chien est vraiment trop beau--un vrai good boy.
Love the cybermurano light Philip. Very cool. Love the chair Anna. ❤🧡
We need 3 lampshades for our bedroom and we would definitely buy Philip’s creations 😍🎉
Beautiful job both Anna and Philip😎you two are quite talented, 🧙♂️ magical couple, bravo!👋🏼👊🏼

Philip, I LOVE the lights you designed. They are tres chic! Well done, Sir!!
I look forward to your videos every Sunday evening ❤
I love what you did with the chair! And Phillip's creations are so much fun!
5:50 That olive green translucent lamp you made looks good, a heck of a ton better than the orange pumpkin trick or treating pot.

Anna, that ribbing around the edges is called "edge roll" and at the front it gives the legs protection from the hard edge of the chair frame.
Aww how sweet Ana is making something orange and Phillip is making something green each other’s favorite colors
I live your choice of music, Philipp. Like generally in all your videos.
Glad you like them!
@@HowToRenovateAChateau especially the excerpt from The Tales of Hoffmann at the start.

does this chair color look orange to anyone else?
Anna did say she wanted an orangie red paint to pick up some of the colours they have already used in their dressing room👍🏼
Yes, but, at the beginning of the video she said she wanted an orangy red. It does look more orange than red. Still pretty. She's so talented!
@@liverbird_55 oh okay. On my computer screen it looks orange.
When it’s in the blue bedroom it’ll look more red and go perfectly ❤

a true artist
The chair will be beautiful ❤
Anna the chair is going to look great. I really like the light shade you made Phillip. I like Anna's idea of Christmas trees with the 3D printer. You could make all sorts of Christmas decorations and baubles.
❇Well done Anna on your restoration of a beautiful chair, and Philipp, on your illuminant creations! 💡Very impressive!

Personally I'm not a fan of the plastic look that inevitably comes with 3D printed items, but I have to admit the cybermurano lights do look amazing!
I love the green lights. You should sell them Philip, I need new lights and I did like the colour.
I love this channel. A wonderful family with wonderful values and without the need to have enormous egos and filling everything with pompous adjectives. Your home is gorgeous too.
Great topic, because while few of us have a huge home to rehab, we could easily have a chair that needs to be repaired!
Great color choice, too!
I so love your videos! That chair is looking good in red but those lampshades are awesome!! I love that you are both so creative. That 3d printer is amazing.

I love how much 3D printing Philip did this video!
Phillip that printer is very impressive. I am impressed. And I love what you are making with it.

I like the color, although it does look more like an orange than a red to me.
@jlotoo850 yes..but Anna _did_ call it orangey-red. On my screen it's definitely more orange but I still like it. I think better than a blue-red.
❤Love it as always ❤
❤Love from Western Australia ❤❤❤❤❤
Love that light shade....
Great work from both of you. Ana, look out for a webbing stretcher.... It's the proper tool for doing the webbing on chairs and will make all the difference to the webbing tension that you can achieve. LOVE the lights.... I am feeling influenced😀
Thanks for the tip!
