Not gonna lie, a lot of my health choices in regard to food and teeth care are highly motivated by this man's struggles. Not a positive thing, but I do believe he's spread some positivity with how public and transparent he makes his struggle.

I feel you their I also have lymphedema in one leg after spider bite ( I am in Australia) and never show of my legs some time I think the contrast is worse thing cause one leg is normal but living with the pain in one leg is bad enough. So few people talk about this it so wonderful to hear others talk about the struggle it is . My best things for keeping the pain and swelling down is exercise and no sugar in my diet or the least amount I can manage lol I hate compression stockings more than anything they hurt more than the swelling for me

Followed you for years. Never thought your videos have ever been anything but for pure entertainment or pure education. Of course you'd speak to the physical or mental conditions you have so as to give the most accurate take on the subject. Example: I have dissociative identity disorder and dedicate a good portion of my life/free time fighting for the fair treatment of those that suffer from mental illnes. Strange to me that someone would rather hear about these kinds of issues from someone that hasn't experienced it first hand versus someone that lives with it everyday. Much respect. Keep up the good work brother.

As someone who is overall in pretty good health (other than ongoing back pain issues) I really enjoy these type of videos. You have a special way of trying to inform others who might be at a point in their life where they will turn out as you were in a few years, but still able to get up and try and better themselves without needing "drastic" surgeries and providing them the motivation they need. As you have said in various different ways, if you can do it Boogie, anyone can. You had so many odds stacked against you, but you came out better and are still trying to move towards that end zone.

Your legs don’t look as bad as some of my patients. Remember that your skeletal muscles in your legs and feet push fluid back to your heart when you use them . The more you wear your compressions stockings/ socks and the more you walk the better your legs and heart will be. If you need help putting on your compression stockings I recommend the Juzo Gator as a donning aid. I have fit a ton of compression stocking of all types and have recommended the Juzo Gator for all of them

My legs were the same way. I thought losing weight would make them better but here i am 160 pounds down "from 430-270" and if i leave my wraps off for 3-4 days they start getting tight and filling up again. Really depressing. I don't want to wear these wraps for the rest of my life! I have to wear a combo of compression sock and these elastic velcro wraps. Before i started going to physical therapy my right calf would swell enough to the point where it would fill my pant leg "and were talking 4x sweat pants". One night i felt an itchy spot and i put my hand on it and a huge piece of skin slid off and my hand was soaking wet. Horrifying for real. My legs are better now but like i said after 3-4 days with no wraps they start filling up again. I hope it gets better as I lose more weight.

Boogie is undeniably a good person, with good intentions and a good heart. This video is only one of many that he’s made which is legitimately a public service and helps many people. Furthermore, as a physician I can say that is medical knowledge is very sound and his advice beneficial. Anyone who would make derogatory or hurtful comments about something like this is frankly a GD monster.

I got lymphedema. It came within the last year or two. Im not morbidly obese (biggest i was was 20 stone now im about 15ish) but i been fat most of my life. It came when i lost alot of weight weirdly enough. Its not swollen as much as most of the pictures you google but the skin is hard and dry and swelling is just a little. I got creams from the doctors and they seem to work help moisturise the skin but its not curable so to speak. I just find it typical that when i got my weightloss it came about but im glad it doesnt hurt and doesnt get in the way of day to day life. Plus looking at the possitive side i guess my body is saying to exercise more so i recently bought a bicycle and plan to ride it for an hour every other day to start with. Hoping all the best. Been watching u for years. You were one of the many reasons i lost weight.

My legs are numb from the knee cap down. I was born with bilateral club feet so I feel your pain Man. I know what it's like to be be morbidly obese as well most of my junior high and High School years I was! I was know as the "fat kid"!!! Not anymore in 2018 shortly before my 42nd birthday I was diagnosed with colon cancer not something anyone wants to hear before the start of their "Middle Age"!!! I'm now healthy but got here by mistakenly because of my already "health" problems. God bless you Boogie/Francie's.

Yeah it won't really look different unless you can get it removed and that would be super expensive if they can at all.
