One of the best videos. Guys a true hero. Then throw in Dr.Doug doing his magic is like watching an action movie. Lol. Love these videos. Can't get enuff.
It seems that both patient and doctor had to pull from deep resources to be brave and do this adjustment. Much more and I would have been in tears. Thank heavens for Sunny and her bright light as well. 😮
excellent job - you knew what you had to do and he was ready to accept it. awesome! additional props to the guy laying still on the table in the back during your whole interview LOL and to the adorable pup who stayed to help your patient emotionally and to be on guard duty while his owner was vulnerable! I keep editing to add things - I say the same thing to my practitioners, that I have a new relationship with pain. It speaks to me and tells me my body needs attention and then it speaks to my practitioner so she can help me give it exactly what it needs to get back in balance.
This is probably my new favorite video. I’m so moved by Joe’s story and what he has done with his life after his accident. Doc, I’m so glad you got to have him on the channel. You spent so much time on that shoulder. It was a workout in itself. Amazing improvement for someone that deserved it so much. Thanks for this one. ❤
I am SO impressed with this gentleman! Talk about making the best of a horrible situation! I’m so glad his girls are ok. And that fur baby is adorable 🥰
“You form a new relationship with pain” WOW- that was pretty profound. But we all saw how much it helped him. 🎶 Hurts so good……. Thanks to both of you for putting this up. Inspiration to us all.
What an amazing man! I can’t wait to follow his progress. My shoulder gets stuck like that sometimes, too (definitely not from rugby😊). It can be super painful but working it out feels so good!
It's amazing how when we go through so much how it can give U a far deeper meaning to life. I know it has me, I've always been spiritual but the healing spiritually can give more value than anyone knows unless U have been there. Hugs n love to all x
Joe is so positive, and Sunny is so stinking cute, and I think was wanting some camera time .😂 great job. Now Joe can kick some butt on the rugby field 👏
Dr Willen, Joe is such a nice 👍🏻 guy, he’s a helicopter dad and his daughters are proud of him. The things we take for granted, I’m really proud of him for not giving up and keep going. His story touched my heart as well, he’s his daughter superhero 🦸♂️. Dr Doug, thank you 🙏🏻 for your kindness, niceness and your beautiful heart ❤️, for doing your best to help Joe out. I can see a lot of improvement and with more visits his mobility on his right arm will get there in no time. If anyone can do it then it’s definitely Dr Doug Willen with his talented, magic hands, don’t underestimate his knowledgeability, believe me from my experience he’s that awesome 👏🏻. Have a nice Sunday doc, we love you, btw, Sunny’s kisses gave you more power to keep going.
Frozen shoulders are rough!!! I'm glad it's loosening up so he can get back to playing sports again! His little side kick is the sweetest thing. He seems so devoted to his dad! And vice versa with that cute fuzzy little outfit he had on him. Chihuahua's are so loyal and sweet. Great job Dr. Doug getting in there and getting so much more movement! I wonder, is frozen shoulder, frozen shoulder no matter the reason? I know a lot of women get it in menopause and I wonder if it could get worked out the same?
Frozen shoulder causes stiffness, pain, and reduced motion in the shoulder joint due to inflammation and tightening of the joint capsule. The reason does matter: primary frozen shoulder has no specific cause and is often linked to hormonal changes or diabetes, while secondary frozen shoulder is caused by an injury or shoulder immobilization.
I fractured my L4 and L5 almost 20 years ago and ruptured the disc between L4-L5 and L5-S1. They said the type of trauma to the area could mean I'm wheel chair dependent or I'll be able to walk, but there most likely would be impairment. I can walk with a walker, but there are days where I can't. When he said that you learn to have a new relationship with pain, it is 100% accurate. I have to check my legs and feet to make sure that if I have any cuts or scrapes to make sure they are healing and not infected. My neuropathy below my knees feels extremely itchy some days, and I will scratch myself until my sking is raw. I have a whole host of people who help me keep my body working to the degree it does.
I'm so happy you were able to help him, Doug, and you clearly knew what you were doing! 😊 And I love the dog! Can't stop wagging it's tail, ha ha ha! 🧸💕
I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis 24 years ago. Lupus 18 years ago. I now have 4 ruptured discs in my lumbar region. I am in pain pretty much all the time. I also have borderline personality disorder disorder. I saw a chiropractor, but he made it worse. I live in Texas, but i so wish i could be treated by you.
❤ Joe ❤ I can't wait to see Sunny on the Animal channel 😂 he stole the show, you know that, right? 😂 Hey, I wish you all the best and go ahead with exercises and the work you do. You can do it. 💪 Sending love from Europe.... Hey, we are family (mankind) ❣️
