Awwwww, when he nuzzled you when you said hi!!!! I just wanted to jump into my screen and hug him! ❤❤❤ I have to say this again, I love the work you do for all of these animals ❤❤❤
I have OTTB here in southeast Ohio that could benefit from your services. He retired May 2024.... double knee surgery to remove knee chips and had right fractured fetlock. Lots stall rest but feel he would benefit from your services. If not, suggestions for someone around the area. I work with woodland run veterinary. Your bedside manner with the animals makes the difference too.
I love to see a thoroughbred worked on. Even if they were only at the racetrack for a short time, they have unique problems that can be addressed with Chiropractic and massage. He’s got a beautiful intelligent head.
So happy Tucker now has a forever home. ❤ Bless you and the Rising Starr owners and staff for all you are doing for this handsome and sweet boy, and for all the animals you all help. ❤❤❤
The tough lives they’ve lead are always sad to think of. But love all that you and the rescue centres do for their futures. All that’s got to feel good for those aching bones. All the best for your less achey future Tucker!
I'm so glad that Tucker found a home that honors what is best for him ! He was so sweet. I like how he gave head kisses. It makes me so happy seeing animals getting adjustments and good care ! I hope Tucker feels great with all of his releases.
🦋🇺🇸😊Aaaawww Tucker.. you’re Dr friend is back ❤🦋🥺Tucker wants to be loved but still is afraid to give unconditional love from past experiences.. Sending Prayers and Positive vibes to Tucker…
It hurts my heart to hear how many owners a horse has had. Their bonds with humans and other animals is so important to their emotional wellbeing. Imagine having to work through the communication aspect with humans every time they are rehomed. And they have to find their pecking order in the pack. They have to find new buddies and miss their lost ones. Wish people still didn't view them as commodities.
Tucker: You are a beautiful gentleman and deserve a home full of the love and joy that you bring to others. Dr. Doug, you amaze me. The connections you make with the animals you work on are truly inspired. Blessings for a wonderful new year!❤❤
It's such a joy to watch you work with animals. Tucker was saying to himself, "I've been thinking about joining those yoga classes where they do all them stretches. I had no idea that they also included snap, crackle and pop!" 😅 🐴
Oh what a gorgeous horse. Reminds me a bit of the one I had years ago. My very best friend. So glad you could help him out. Race horses don’t have the easiest life. So if he can enjoy his time relaxing without pain, that’s perfect ❤❤❤
Dr Willen, Tucker is a beautiful horse 🐎. The part where you’ve adjusted his front left leg, when he turned to you and you gave him a kiss was adorable ❤. He was letting you to work on him and he knew that he could trust you and the pole adjustment was awesome 👏🏻. Sometimes he would turn his head to you and the owner, now that an amazing bond 👍🏻.and I’m happy 😃 that he found his last place to call home. Have a nice week doc, it was a hard work 💪🏻 but you always know how to handle every single situation 🙏🏻 .
Tucker is such a nice gentle guy. He was really checking if his hind left was still there after that long adjustment. Thank you and your team, Dr. Doug. As always. "S nastoopáyoosheem" as we say in Russia. "[I congratulate you] with the upcoming [New Year]." edit: On no. I did it again. Misspelled your name. Sorry.
So wonderful that Tucker has finally been rescued. Such a gentle sweet guy. Thank you Dr Doug for your great work and for Rising Starr Horse Ranch for continuing to provide the service they do. Happy New Year!!!!
Such a lovely horse Tucker is! He agreed [shook head up and down] with you at the end! lol Great job all round [Team Dr. Doug and Rising Starr Horse Rescue]. Happy New Year to you all!

Lol you changed your photo, I thought I subscribe the wrong person until I open it up and realized I had the right person. Nice pic. Happy new year. From new Zealand
Can they do something for equine cataracts? Thoroughbreds are high dollar animals. I guess after they retire from racing nobody really cares about them that can afford to pay for a lens replacement. Do they do that for horses? Ever?

This adjustment on Tucker might even help with his anxiety. He has such a kind heart and he is very handsome.
Yes, sometimes it helps to reduce anxiety. The better the horse feels in his body, the more confident, calm, and safe he becomes. Thank you Andrea!

Seeing how much this helps animals make me wish humans could have the same treatment for free. Every creature deserves to live their best life. ❤

Diluted DMSO with superoxide dismutase drops will clear his cataracts.
Can they do something for equine cataracts? Thoroughbreds are high dollar animals. I guess after they retire from racing nobody really cares about them that can afford to pay for a lens replacement. Do they do that for horses? Ever?
Yes, horses can get cataract surgery. Thank you Rosemary!
@ ❤️
Me and Tucker used to smoke cigarettes in gym class. Good guy, that Tucker.
Please don’t pet a horse on the nose and lips-they nearly all hate it. Except of course when it’s being adjusted.❤
