Kenan Thompson is the very stuff that comedians are made of. His timing, his tiniest facial gesture. The delivery of every word and line. When days are hard, it's actor comedians of his calibre that make life a little more easier. Thank you and God bless Mr Thompson.
"I say I knew yall was the bloods, don't you get me caught up in this mess! See I'm from Compton, I left because of the crime situation, I committed a bunch of crimes and it became a situation!"
I watched the entire documentary series, and it's not substantially less funny than this sketch. That line, "What can I say - tough titties!" is a direct verbatim quote, as is "So they went back and they killed the beavers and they put them in blenders and they blended the beavers, and they poured the blended beavers into the water supply."
It was so much fun being a part of this imaginative SNL cult parody ! As a character actor here in NYC, it was a dream come true working with the amazing duo Nasim Pedrad and Kenan Thompson. The entire cast and crew were simply the best !!!

@@maazkalim You're right, he wasn't portrayed as cray cray, he showed himself to be it all by himself lol. Although considering he's still involved with an Osho based organization I guess it's no surprise that he still talks like the cult's lawyer instead of giving any kind of objective reflection like everyone else in the documentary at least attempts to do. He's completely lost in his own BS.
Kenan in this. 😂😂😂 "Man, Sheila was a freak. She made me harder than trigonometry" "You see I'm from Compton. I left because of the crime situation. I committed a bunch of crimes...it became a situation". *Gold*. Nasim Pedrad at any opportunity
As someone who has seen this documentary at least 1 1/2 times, I can say that this sketch is VERY accurate but only covers about 1/3 of it. I seriously recommend watching it, because it is FASCINATING!!!
To anyone who has yet to watch the real documentary film this skit is parodying, you must. The true story is wilder and crazier than any parody that could ever be written. Unbelievable and mind boggling at every turn, it is an excellent film and worth every minute of the total six hours run time. Undoubtedly, it is one of the best documentaries I’ve ever seen.
I was in a bar that had a TV but no sound (they had a jukebox playing). I glanced over at the screen and I saw all these scenes with Kenan intercut with old footage of the Bhagwan. I knew I had to look it up as soon as I got home.
That quote “I did a bunch of crimes, and it became a situation” cracks me up every time. Kenan T. and Kirsten W. are the backbone of SNL and the only reason I go to this channel.
Even though everyone gave a lot of description, Keenan always gave out the best giving us the "real story" of what really happens when your part of a cult
"I joined for the ass" hahahahaha I bet a few people thought that in the community. Amazing documentary. I highly recommend watching the real Wild Wild Country.
I live in Oregon and experienced the Rajneeshi's personally, and I have to say this skit was Brilliant, and probably more truthful with the facts than the Netflix Documentary!!!
"I committed a lot of crime and it became a situation." I'm dead 😂😂😂😂😂

Well done, The lawyer guy nailed it. Spot on.

I wanted to slap the shit out of that lawyer! Great impression.

She was harder than trigonometry
"What's Up with That?" 😄
NASIM! She got a bad deal. Glad she’s back for this. Also, Keenan kills it every time.
Could you explain?
Who is she?
she's an old castmember, one of the best ever imo
j m The reason she left SNL was because John Mulaney cast her in his show. It got cancelled after one season. One terrible unfunny season.
True, lets rephrase that. She's one of the better castmembers after the 2000's
Nasim's Indian accent is spot on!...not very exaggerated; just right
"one crazy ass Puerto Rican lady." 😂😂
It's exaggerated
It was pretty good until she pronounced bhagwan
i thought she was trying to be bjork at first
Grossest accent of all english. Even worse than Puerto Ricans. And mexicans. Just instant headache sound.
Keenan is a gift from God, I swear.
Im Heckin Mad he really is, he always makes me laugh
Indeed!! 😂😂
Im Heckin Mad he's funny like this in person I've had the opportunity to chill with him many times 💯
I’ve been watching him since All That! It’s so cool that he made it to SNL and is one of the funniest people on it. Go Kenan!!
🎯🎯🎯
This was so well-made. Perfect casting. And you could tell the writers actually watched the series cuz all the jokes are on point! Love this.
The lawyer and Sheela's impersonations were perfect.
And both of the comics are underrated!
OMG, I'm crying on my keyboard over here...perfect.
She sounds Persian, not Indian. Accents were not good at all.
