I disagree iconic silver is unique however you need curves such as on a mustang ! It looks awesome that’s coming from someone that thought the same way about all silver cars

Ordered a 2021 F150 in Iconic Silver. I was looking at Oxford White - Space White - Iconic Silver. Space White looks like mother of pearl white on Ford Colorizer and after seeing this video I am so glad I went with Iconic Silver. Ford’s Colorizer seems to darken all their color offerings.
i have the 2020 xlt sport in iconic silver. traded up front my 2018 ingot silver. the iconic is beautiful imo. cant go wrong. best silver out there across all truck brands

I’m ordering mine within the next month or so. I drive through the lot everyday on the way home from work and look at the space white models. The color is new and different , the truck is all new and different. So I say SPACE WHITE baby !

Initial impression is to go with the space white for it's "different" factor. I guess I'm still enamored with all these newer matte paint colors. There wasn't a lot to choose from when I started driving. But the more I look, the silver looks really, really good on those trucks. Fortunately for me, it's velocity blue all the way.
Totally agree on multiple fronts . I wish the black grill on the STX was offered on all packages. Also the Avalanche White looks freaking amazing. Really underrated color . Wish Ford would bring it back .

Hard to pass up in this environment where it’s getting really hard to find trucks especially in this paint job.
I personally would choose Rapid red but I really wished ford would offer Sunset Metallic again like on my 2014 f150. I literally get compliments every time I stop to get gas.
The colors look way different from web site to real life. the "lead foot" and "space white" look completely different to me in real life. Lead foot on the website is my favorite, too bad it looks different in person
I parked my ingot silver f 150 next to the new iconic silver, and the iconic is definitely a darker silver, more of a gray really. The ingot is much brighter, especially in the sun. I would like to see the space white in person.
space white looks like clearcoated gray / baby blue primer in that overcast...oxford and star shades look bright/deep, space, not so much...probably looks best in the sun, where oxford is always bright. the iconic silver is a nice shade too

Like the iconic silver. The space white I'd need to see in person. Not seeing the blue on my particular phone. I bought one on the lot which was metallic blue 15', I only wish it was the green gem which looked black sometimes but also looked like a green emerald/gem. But couldn't pass up the price.
Thanks for the solid reply Sam. Leaning towards the 5.0. Cam phaser and other issues have me shying away from the 3.5L. I plan to keep the truck stock minus exhaust. Seems to get decent fuel mileage if you keep your foot out of it as well (hard to do I bet ha!).
I don't know how I feel about space white. I keep seeing it at a dealer multiple times, and it always seems like a different color depending on the light. If it's cloudy, it looks like a light grayish white and reminds me of the white on space craft and astronaut's EVA suits in space...like a slightly dirty white. In the sun, I have seen it it "sparkle" a little bit. And then in between it almost has a light lavender accent to it. I like it better than oxford white as it has more character to it, but the space white just seems like it changes too much
I HATE the antimatter blue. The next time I want to order a black truck, I'll be sure to order antimatter blue. That being said, I just ordered an F-250 with Iconic Silver with carbonized gray on the lower portion.
I ordered almost the exact same truck in lead foot. I was interested in space white but my guy at the dealer advised me to skip it. I'm kind of glad I did after seeing this video, thanks!
I'm going xlt sport in rapid red. I have ruby red now and get so many compliments on the color. I know it's a little different, but still a sharp color especially with the black wheels.
The biggest problem is it’s not sunny out. I have abyss and it looks slate gray when it’s cloudy out. When it’s sunny out it looks like a different color a lot of pearl in it. Everyone compliments it .I would stick with it! I like it

went to my dealer 1/22/21 to buy my iconic silver 2021 f150 xl sport 4x4. seen this space white and it was not good at all too me. kinda looks like a color a lady might buy ( no pun intended) but i ended up buying a 2021 f150 high xlt with 302a package and chrome package. its best decision i made. but this space color looks like a faded white too me with blue hugh too it.

Only difference, I ordered 20 inch Chrome, dark grey and slate suede interior and the auto retract steps. I’m going to do the supercharger on the 5.0 later.
Iconic Silver . It pops and at first glace you say wow nice NEW truck. I don't know if its just me but after several years the silvers look dull but the whites (real white- Oxford)still look new and clean
Silver is a color that tends to fade after a period of years. Especially if it is parked outside all the time. Had two vehicles that were silver and both faded. Washed them and Waxed them all the time. Have 1997 F250 4X4 Crew Cab Powerstroke Oxford White still looks good on Paint Job!

Hey BD, sorry for being so late, I haven’t looked at my phone since yesterday even then it was in airplane mode. I love space white, was shocked seeing an XLT sport 302A SuperCrew 6.5’ for the F150 I think it is the best color put on the F150 next to: Lithium grey, Lead Foot, Abyss grey, and Green Gem.
It similar to the ghost gray and the chalk color from Porsche. I think the space white is a little more on the blueish side. I saw another guy on UA-cam with a 2021 Lariat with sport package in black. It was very nice.

you guys crack me up. ok serious question. bought a 2020 f150 5.0 with 27K miles. brought it home and it ran fine for about 2 months, at which time i upsized the tires but not by much; from about 31" to 32". pretty soon the tranny is making noise then all of a sudden i get the infamous "rattle on deceleration" problem. was watching this video and saw your spreadsheet show something like "tire size re-learn." do you think it's at all possible that upsizing tire size could have caused this, and if i re-learn it might help the issue????? after 2 weeks at the dealership they tell me all these sounds are "normal." i'm 57 and have worked on f150s since 1982. don't tell me this is normal. anyway... i know you guys don't get into diagnoses but when i saw that on forscan it got me to thinking. keep up the good work.
Anything but black! I’m a fan of the iconic silver, my 2018 f150 is ingot silver but the iconic almost has a flop look to it depending how the light hits it

I ordered a Smoked Quartz Metallic in Lariat Chrome Package. Truck came in and on a Cloudy Day it’s almost a None Color. Disappointing. The Iconic Silver ( my Son has a 2020 Iconic Silver with the Limited 22” Rims. Really a sharp looking truck. )
Don't you get tired of 90% of vehicles being black, silver or white? Why do you see very few blue, red or vibrant colors on new car lots anymore. Go look at any new car dealer's lot. I bet at least 85% are white, black or silver.

That white looked like pearl white on a different video review I saw of 2021 F150. It was bright and sunny and that space white looked damn good!
We are filming in bright sun today to see how different it is. Hope to catch an antimatter blue as well.

Velocity blue is one of the best blues Ford has ever sprayed. I agree that Iconic is solid, but is it the safe pick?

Avalanche might be the best of all time. We wanted to install an STX grill on Sam’s Lariat but it won’t work with his tech...
Instead of wheel well liners our 2019 & 2020 we had Line-x spray the wheel wells and turned out great.
I’d go with the Iconic Silver . That Space white looks more like a Blue / Grey . Online it’s not even close to that example at the dealer..

Oxford white you cant go wrong, but iconic silver is a sharp color. Colors change every two to three years but white is white and silver stays silver.

@@BackroadDriver I saw the delivery video. Congratulations. What did you do with the stock wheels? I went to a Ford dealer yesterday to look at a carbon and iconic grays. But once I saw the space white I’m confused now as well 😂 I still have time to decide. Probably going for an XLT trim. Good luck with yours.
I always keep my stock wheels and tires. That way when I get rid of the truck I can put them back on.
Hey BD, sorry for being so late, I haven’t looked at my phone since yesterday even then it was in airplane mode. I love space white, was shocked seeing an XLT sport 302A SuperCrew 6.5’ for the F150 I think it is the best color put on the F150 next to: Lithium grey, Lead Foot, Abyss grey, and Green Gem.
Lithium is pretty awesome and I hope they bring it back. We are going to do a follow up video in bright sun ASAP. Thanks ATN!

It similar to the ghost gray and the chalk color from Porsche. I think the space white is a little more on the blueish side. I saw another guy on UA-cam with a 2021 Lariat with sport package in black. It was very nice.

I did end up buying space white and I love it.
Any grayscale color is boring. Red, blue, green, orange, even yellow are the only ones I would ever consider.

you guys crack me up. ok serious question. bought a 2020 f150 5.0 with 27K miles. brought it home and it ran fine for about 2 months, at which time i upsized the tires but not by much; from about 31" to 32". pretty soon the tranny is making noise then all of a sudden i get the infamous "rattle on deceleration" problem. was watching this video and saw your spreadsheet show something like "tire size re-learn." do you think it's at all possible that upsizing tire size could have caused this, and if i re-learn it might help the issue????? after 2 weeks at the dealership they tell me all these sounds are "normal." i'm 57 and have worked on f150s since 1982. don't tell me this is normal. anyway... i know you guys don't get into diagnoses but when i saw that on forscan it got me to thinking. keep up the good work.

Anything but black! I’m a fan of the iconic silver, my 2018 f150 is ingot silver but the iconic almost has a flop look to it depending how the light hits it
The Iconic is solid. Sam is leaning hard that way but I think the Space White is a special color.

I ordered a Smoked Quartz Metallic in Lariat Chrome Package. Truck came in and on a Cloudy Day it’s almost a None Color. Disappointing. The Iconic Silver
( my Son has a 2020 Iconic Silver with the Limited 22” Rims. Really a sharp looking truck. )

We walked the lot last night near sundown and saw Iconic vs Space White. They both looked dang good.
Don't you get tired of 90% of vehicles being black, silver or white? Why do you see very few blue, red or vibrant colors on new car lots anymore. Go look at any new car dealer's lot. I bet at least 85% are white, black or silver.
I agree. I think dealers play it safe and people buy with resale in mind. Some people love bright red and bright blue but others hate it.
Why not Star White. Isn't that metallic white? Hard to tell when it's cloudy out. I have a 20 Magma red and it changes colors depending on the light.
We saw Star White beside Space White yesterday and both are pretty good. Shooting another video in bright sunlight tomorrow to drop about Tuesday. Magma Red is awesome.

I got an ad!! Atta boy! Iconic silver lookin pretty good and it’s a good choice. It looks really good and it’s classic. Carbonized Gray looks really great except not sure if you think you’re copy catting brad.

If it came like the build and price I would be too except it’s very blue grayish compared to the Oxford white.

Color is so subjective but for me Iconic silver all the way. Do not like the space white at all. Just about the same build as mine will have. 👍🏻
