East Texas widow here. Thank you so much! Went to six gas stations for air. All broken. One that barely worked was weak, cost $2 on debit card. Cost me $4 for all four tires. Bought the exact Husky you have, yesterday at Home Depot. $39.97 Found your video. Your explanations are concise and helpful. I now have confidence in this inflator. Thank you so much!!
I have the same compressor in my truck, have not had to use it yet but sent one to my friend in Texas, he was always getting flat tires. He’s used it for himself and to help others pump their flat or deflated tires.
@@chriscraft77022 Unfortunately mine developed a leak at the hose/infilator junction and I could not figure out a way to repair it. I'll probably buy another because the price is right and I need it, but i wish it were repairable.
I bought one before watching your video. I spent $2.00 just to fill up a new tire that had a leaky valve stem which I didn't notice until I left the service garage. I bought the 120V (electric) version vs the 12V in your review. It works great and it's much easier then charging my porter cable air compressor and removing it from storage bin. As other reviewers have pointed out, it's now selling for $39.97 at HD. I'll be purchasing the 12V to leave in one of my cars. Thanks for your review.
I will have to get one.....with 12 volt equipment, running the engine is a good thing, as well as running the equipment off of the battery, not a cigarette lighter....I have an older Husky 3 gal. compressor that I have had for years. Motor still works, but doesn't build up air.... Was looking for a repair video prior to taking the thing apart.
Hi, have you had an issue with one of the tubes coming loose at the top of the Husky...?...i was just about to order the corded 120V one, then i read a bunch of one star reviews saying, and showing photos of one of the tubes disconnecting from the top, and they couldn't replace the tubes, so they either bought a new one with the same problem, or bought a different one.....There were a bunch of reviews like this...........Thank you.....
no.. but if that happened I would take it back to home depot and get a new one.. dont order stuff that you need to work online.. buy it local.. i used it again like a month ago for the same van tire and NO PROBLEMS.. i love that thing so much
I live in houston too thats why i am watching this video because i spent arround 10 bucks last time and none of those aire machines in gas stationd works
mine finally died cause I left it on a tire airing up and it started raining… really bad.. they have a little metal check valve that can break.. if it breaks it will not build pressure…. the metal is inferior.. I will not be buying another.. take it back to Home Depot
Do you have a newer car? Was your engine running or turned off? If you have a newer vehicle (within the last couple years), they have a different type of battery that can't tolerate using these inflators. I have a new 2021 Elantra and my inflator did the same thing to my car fuse when used with the engine turned off. In reading the vehicle manual, it clearly states to NOT use electronic devices like inflators, especially without the car running. I have a great little Gooloo jump starter/power supply that I always keep in my car just in case someone may need a jump start, so now always use that for portable power when needing to add air to my tires. No problems.

I use it all the time… it’s the only thing I use for tires since the video
Every car should come with one of these built in

DAMN, prices have gone up. That one is now $40 & the digital one is now $80. Thanks for the review!
😳
Thank you for sharing this backup compressor and having the van running while using it. I am definitely going to get one. 👍 Darren
you will not regret buying it... I LOVE IT

@@nasatir Is there a way to repair it?
@@peterlai9018 Well, sort of...but I can't get more than about 75 pounds of pressure before it starts leaking at the hose/pump junction.
Great review on the 12 Volt Inflator Chris

it is the only thing i air tires up with since i made the video... i use it all the time... if it ever fails...take it back and get a new one for free
Careful. husky has 2 different 12v models.

I bought one off ebay and it worked good until it stopped about 5 months later.
I have an old portable compressor that takes 20 minutes to air up a flat tire. Might have to upgrade.
Cool video, I buy Husky tools and definitely getting one of these. Thanks for the great review 👍..
I got this inflator months ago and it's a must have inflator in case a tire is low.
I agree
Good idea on Christmas gifts, im doing that. But also, this might be a good alternative to fill a train horn tank !!!!!!

Same thing happened to me, the hose breaks off really easily I was looking for a video of how to replace it
@@SamaraVidZ thats why im here lol
I read those 1 star reviews as well. Wonder if anyone has attempted to repair it besides returning it to Homedepot and getting a new one.
The Dewalt has very good ratings but it's so darn expensive.
What do you do if it doesn't work?

this pump is good.. I promise you.. I use it all the time
@@chriscraft77022 thanks i Just saw it today in home depot i Will get it after this cold weather, thanks Chriss....
Patiently waiting on a new video on the dually..🤘🏽😬
Bought one 12volt for truck and one AC corded for the garage for quick inflates... Now they cost 39.99
I used mine recently on my car, tire was down 10 psi and within 10 minutes, no change in pressure. Any ideas?

Nice video but it could've been better if you tested the pressure with a different gauge for accuracy of the pump gauge.
it is a little off.. but then how do we know the gauge is accurate too?
Might have to grab one for the RV.
Can you hook up a small air gun to this one? An if so which one would you recommend??
no
Contact USA military they use weapons ?!
Do you recommend this as well as a can of fix a flat?
i would never use fix a flat
@@chriscraft77022 only when you have plugged a big hole an both plugs leaking still with no plans to keep the tire
I have a tire like that maybe I will use fix a flat for the first time!!!!!
Cool
It's February I bought mine in December it's already not working.
take it back to Home Depot and get your money back.. I have aired up like 35 tires and mine still works and looks brand new
I need one for Christmas 🎄☃️ can I give you a address 😂
I used mine 3 times and it kept blowing my car fuse.
