...this storyline CLEARLY was inspired by 'real' events; Shannen Doherty (Brenda) got dumped by Judd Nelson (they were having a secret affair), and married Singer / Actor Ashley Hamilton ('Tan Man' George Hamilton's Son) for 3 Months; I liked how they thought Shannen was the 'Wild Child' of the show, and opted to fire her....They relied SO much on her personal life, to ADD to the Brenda character!! ...and, by the by, Stuart had a REAL hot ASS, so I can understand why 'Bren' wanted to elope! ...ha-HAAA!!
I loved this episode, especially how the group all got on a plane to try and stop Brenda. In real life something similar was happening with my sister and our friend group tried the same tactics.
