@@WyldeWoodworks maybe another hinged section so you can change batteries is an option. I'm also thinking about other bits and tips this could apply towards. Like a buffer or a wire wheel.
You always make some of the most wonderful projects thank you for sharing your talent and maybe the next project you can do is a router table that's portable
@@grumpyoldman7818 That's a really good idea but if the bit is off balance I don't think the rubber feet would do much to stop it. Once I put it on my 2nd workbench and balanced the bit it stuck 10X better. That 1st bench I had it on stays oiled most of the time.
Why not put a tyrip around the powerbutton of the drill (so it is allways on) and a switched-poweroutlet inside the box with, a switch on the outside of the box? Would eliminate opening and closing the box with every use..
Reminds me of something that my grandfather would have made.
Wow. Creative juices are great, if you have them. I do not sir. Lol. Thanks for showing us this.
Now I want one and will have to go buy a corded drill so I can make my own. LOL
Haha. I really REALLY wanted to make one that was battery powered. That would have been so much cooler.

@@LangeloScuro Yeah my thought was to expose the bottom of the drill on the outside of the box for easy battery replacement.

Why a portable router table? That sounds interesting
add a small plate underneath, you can clamp it to the workbench?
Woo Hoo another great idea! You are so inventive!
Awesome! 😁
Awesome! Do you think you can do a tutorial on how to turn a circular saw (or somthing similar) into a table saw!!!
Maybe. I'll look into it
Save up and keep your fingers.
Good one as long as it stays put when using it
It stays put a lot better when when The bit is balanced properly. I think I'm gonna end up putting a weight in the bottom.
@@WyldeWoodworks that would help to but my thought is non slip on the bottom. If not feet just a thin rubber sheet.

SO COOL

That's a good idea! I actually bought a variable speed switch to attach to the drill but I couldn't get that to work consistently.
Add a quick change adapter and us a hex shaft drum
Do those exist?
