My daughter is about to turn 13 and is moving into much more competitive basketball. I need to show her your videos so she can see what positivity looks like. Your attitude is by far your best weapon.
Visualizations are helpful in a sport like basketball, but the positive self-talk is not really applicable. Maybe on the free throw line where the game comes to a stop. but games that move quickly against other moving human beings, it's difficult to have those conversations with yourself. It's helpful to imagine yourself in game situations and scenarios, and visualize making great plays within those. It's commonly called psycho-cybernetics. Hope this helps.
@@paineintheass233 I agree. You have to see the game and situations as you prep for the game. Once in the game, it won't work. Too fast. Maybe when you're sitting you can but even then, it's tough.
Gabby, first of all, thanks for giving experiences that we otherwise would not experience. After two days of grinding at it for 23 hrs of golf, you still had a smile that lit up the day. Your comeback round was much better as you said, and that's what we strive for in life, to come back better. You are such a fighter with a positive attitude with tenacity . Keep it up, Gabby, cause as your fans we're rooting for ya.
I love when you film your tournaments. I get to see the good and the bad (mostly good)! A best friend of mine once told me, “The words I can, I am, and I will, can change your life. I’ve never forgotten that. Keep up the good work.
Man! For someone so young to seemingly have such control over the authentic power of affirmative/positive thoughts is utterly amazing and a wonder to watch. If she can continue on this path......wow! She's going to be a wild force of nature to behold! She's very lucky. I discovered and stumbled upon this elusive _(untaught)_ mindset much later in life but it changed my lifestyle circumstances 1000%. My only regret is that I wasn't able to 'crack the code' earlier in my life - like this lucky grasshopper is doing right here.
How can you not just adore this young lady? She just brings a smile to my face and a laugh here and there for good measure. Some say the youth today are lazy and undriven etc... I would suggest they watch gabbygolfgirl for an attitude adjustment.
Congrats on a quality round with tap in par after tap in par! You make a difficult game seem so simple and easy. Your positive attitude, talent, hard work, and passion for golf is inspiring.
Great to watch - love the fact you were mic’d it gave a great insight to the thinking process - super recovery after the first two rounds- so unlucky with some putts - but determined as ever well done. 👏👏👏👏
Gabby, you love the game, above all else. Everyone who watches you play can feed off of your enthusiasm. Your right! get your iron/short game crisper and you will definitely win more tournaments this year 👍 Good Luck 😊
I just watch your preparation video and I couldn’t wait to see how you did. Your preparation and love for the game is inspiring. I love how to talk to your self in such a positive way almost hoping the ball listens to your thoughts. Before each putt I hit. I say I can do this then putt. The difference( I only say it in my head). Keep doing you. Your amazing. Best of luck !!
Thank you for your videos. As a starter you always have someone you look up to. For me thats you. You make your swing look so effortless and that helps me to not put to much strength into it. That basically fixed it for me. Watching your videos made me realize, you can play that good with out that longest drive power swing.
I agree with other comments about your Attitude and Approach,,,,,,,,,here is a tip for playing tournament golf,,,,,,,,Play to your strengths on every hole. Think about each holes distance and figure out what distance you want to play into a green, then you already know what to hit off the tee. We all admire your positive outlook and attitude towards golf.
Gabby you played great! The back nine on the Champ is really tough and you played it well. I’ve played it many times and that 17th hole can really get you! Congrats on a strong effort!
I love your content, you’re such an adorable young lady. However I do struggle to relate to your golf game. For example, I’ve never seen you retrieve a club from a tree. Or is that just me? 😂
Gabby! brilliant, dedicated eye of the Tiger for sure🙂. Good to see you wearing a cap , Sunstroke or heatstroke or exhaustion can seriously affect performance. You take it easy young lady stay properly hydrated. Beetroot is good! KInd regards Sim
On a PGA course you played excellent. Love that you didn't breakdown on the double bogey and kept your game the same and didn't panic. PGA course greens are hard to read so you should be proud no 3 puts. Very impressive as usual. Thanks for the share
I love your videos and particularly this one. Especially how you approach each shot with a positive thought. I am going to try it as well. Greatings from the Netherlands.
Great round Gabby. Way to grind it out . Need little more distance on those drives so you can get a little closer to the pin on ur approach shots . So close to next level golf.
I thinking putting is as difficult as bunker shots. Putting seems simple but so many elements come into play like changing grass speed and slope angle. I think to putting well requires experience and time. You have to 'feel the putt' rarther than just hit the ball. So Gabby's investment in time and practice will continue her journey in the right direction.
Your approach and attitude towards your game is great. I wish I had that and your maturity when I was a teenager playing the junior tennis circuit. I would have been a ton more successful. Keep it up.
I love watching when you play and hearing what you are thinking. 1 quick question, what is the best place you have had a burger 🍔 ?? And hope you had a brilliant birthday I love your content 😀😀👍🏻👍🏻⛳️⛳️🍔🍔
Based on your videos, you consistently shoot Par with a minor variance of +2 over or -2 under. Just by improving your putting score, you could easily shoot -3 under at every tournament. I think your putting form and technique is spot on, it’s just your shot “line” that is missing by mere inches (or less). This video tournament showed that you missed 5 putts by a shadow that would have brought your score down to around -4 under. A suggestion---try to find and work with an experienced “greens reader”. Reading the green is a developed skill (cuts, break, speed..,) that compliments your stroke and every pro invests time on that vital skill. You know that the short game is about form, technique, and line. Improve on the sight line of the green and you win everything you enter!
What you went through, considering the emotions, practice hours & trying to regroup, you finished well. Not top shelf but as always Gabby I imagine your planning will differ going forward & best of luck with that. Oh & today should be our last 110 in Phoenix! PS I asked about the duck in chat. Mulligan needs a friend -
Great video as usual!! Your tempo on all your shots is so incredibly smooth. Question: if you find that your tempo is a little off, how do you get it back to where you want it?
You’ve got a beautiful swing! I wish I had your long game… you are so close on so many putts, do you spend much time working on your putting? Your driving is getting you on the greens like you should but you are leaving too many birdies on the greens… still doing awesome and I enjoy watching you play! Look forward to seeing you in the LPGA sometime soon 😊
@@gabbygolfgirl consistently close to the cup tho, that’s a good thing! You weren’t wildly overshooting the cup or really misreading the greens badly it’s just down to developing the finesse/ gaining more experience. You've got this though, you're a great golfer and a lot of fun to watch. Keep grinding you're doing great!
Awesome content on this tournament, respect the grind. Riveting, good job Gabby!! I didn’t get the chance earlier to wish you Happy Birthday! Hope it was memorable.

Your post-round assessment was dead on. Tee to green you played well. But not unlike many PGA Tour pros, it’s all coming down to inches on the green. Five or six putts… that’s likely the difference between posting a score and just having “a decent round.” I’m not overly concerned about you missing the lines. You just gotta be philosophical about that. Some days yes, some days no. I like your positive affirmations. Jack was a lot like that. Tiger had almost INFINITE confidence. You played well, buddyroo. It was a good round. Just flat stick stuff and I’m not even sure there’s a way to “work on it.” But you know best. You’re the phenom-not me.
