Fans wanted Marvel vs Capcom 4. Instead they got MCU v Capcom and it sucked cause Disney was trying to get into a pissing match with Fox. Meanwhile Toriyama flew in with DB Fighter Z and just obliterated MCUvC Infinite.

Yes that story mode demo horrendous we didn't get the versus mode or Online beta because it was a E3 exclusive at the Los Angeles convention E3 event. Now we don't have a E3 3 event anymore because of the plandemic ruined it.
Who put it this way when you're poor and barely have money you're extremely generous from when you get rich and have lots of money you become selfish and stuck up

Rogue and Captain Marvel are both kind of boring to me. I think DC has better female characters as a whole…Catwoman, Wonder Woman and Supergirl are boss.

MvC will always be one of my top 5 favorite fighting games. When it first came out my sister took weekly ice skating lessons for about a year and anytime I'd go with my dad would give me $5 in quarters and I'd play MvC the entire time. Mega Man and Venom was my go-to team. Today it's Captain Commando and Venom.
My favorite Marvel vs. Capcom copycats are Dragon Ball FighterZ and Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid. You should talk about Battle for the Grid on your channel, THGM! And by the way, R.I.P. Akira Toriyama.
That game is beyond underrated it is one of the best power rangers fighting games ever created the only thing I hate is that now when you play it on story mode with certain characters fights get interrupted

Respect to DB and Toriyama, but Marvel v Capcom and then Capcom v SNK redefined fighting games. The innovation was close to the level that Mortal Kombat 1 and the intro of 3D fighters did (maybe a slight exaggeration lol). They paved the way for DB in FighterZ.

You haven't mentioned Marvel vs Capcom 3, which is also a very good game, as it has a nice comic book art style, 3v3 and included some pretty surprising characters (at the time) such as Deadpool (before the movies came out, as MvC3 came out in 2011), X23, Wesker, Super Skrull, Viewtiful Joe, Zero and more. Also, the modding community of MvC3 is literally the only thing keeping the fanbase alive at this point, so it hasn't been completely deserted just yet.
Would like to see a musou style game with several shonen anime together, old and new.

There is one bootleg fighting game called *Top Fighter 2000 MK VIII* where players can choose from Michael Jordan, Geese Howard, Ryu, Son Goku, Kyo Kusanagi, Cyclops, Muhammad Ali and Ryo Sakazaki.

Was a odd game for me as i could not click with it, it did so many things right it looked and sounded great it was fun and i really liked the story mode as finally we had something new not been told before.....but the game play it just felt a bit homogenised with very similar combo paths ...and the fact they went back on their promise to not have multiple versions of the same characters. I do wish we had a story dlc to take advantage of the new characters they added
i wish all iterations of each saiyan characters just stays in 1 block at the character select screen and it should ask the player to choose between normal, saiyan (goku and vegeta's kids), saiyan god till saiyan 4 (goku, vegeta, gojeta) . 5 gokus or 4 vegetas in an entire select screen is exhausting and those spaces could have been for other movie characters as well
I think you should have said that it was mvci, because mvc3, umvc3 and mvc2 are still better than DBFZ, more now with the last updates and dlcs💀

X-men legends 1and 2 was the greatest of all time til Marvel Ultimate Alliance became a sequel to X-men legends 1 and 2 also started the marvel Ultimate Alliance franchise after X-MEN legends 1 and 2 but marvel Ultimate Alliance only became a trilogy after Team Ninja and koei tecmo took over the game after Activision don't want to do with Marvel Ultimate Alliance franchise anymore damn disney.
If DBF drops a sequel with skin options, transformations and at least 40 characters it would be the go to fighting game

Wow I have to play this. MvCI was one of the biggest game purchase regrets ever. $90 for the deluxe edition and I never play it SMH. This looks incredible by comparison.

We need a Fighterz 2 or a budokai 4 game. Budokai 1-3 was a 2d fighting game similar to fighterz and we need a new one

Ah yes, DB Legends. A game where you can only spend about half a year before you need to engage in micro transactions to actually keep up to date with the endlessly changing and always chaotic meta.
Just to put things in perspective, I’m still playing mvc2… 24 years later… Umvc3 is for the newer generation. Infinite didn’t move me. I played DBFZ more than Infinite and I barely play DBFZ. Capcom, please figure out a way to rerelease mvc2… the kids want to play it… lol
I am overall just terrible at fighting games. So I don't really play them. But man, I didn't even care any of that when FighterZ came out. This game is so much fun, don't even care that I don't know how to play fighting games.

DB fighterZ was a really super great 3on3 tag fighting game, when it first came out, it blown my mind away, just like when X-Men vs Street fighter came out, but Capcom can't make it better, almost unplayable
With the exception of the few good films, Marvel would have been better off if Disney hadn't bought Marvel. Also screw Fox.
ArcSys put their foot off in this game. Not having rollback from the jump was a mistake, but still no more fun fighting game with all the little things like Dramatic Finishes that light up a fans heart.
What if capcom need 2 band new character Jin and Devilotte added and remove 2 character arthur and firebrand anymore.

DbfZ was a great game that filled that vacancy & then some

If there ever will a be a MVC4 in the future i would like the graphics to be 2d comic book/ anime style like dbz fighterz and bring back 3 on 3 and for characters they should have 12 returning ones from previous games * cough* X-Men *cough* and maybe focus on new characters that are getting much more popularity like Loki, Daredevil, Scarlet Witch, Blade, Leon Kennedy, Asura, Juri, Lord Raptor etc

To be fair Ark System Works is THE fighting game developer studio, with so many games and franchises under their belt, there really was no chance for Capcom to fight against them, especially when Disney basically screwed them over, I was actually surprised that Infinite wasn't worse than what it was, and I can appreciate their attempt to try and go back to the punch and kick controls, since Marvel Vs Capcom 3 simplified the controls and combined both punches and kicks, but unfortunately despite their efforts their game would have never been able to compete with DB FighterZ, that other game was just on a whole other weight class, and I'm glad that things happened like that anyway, because somebody had to put Capcom in their place after they have been letting their greed go to the head, even back during the days of Marvel vs Capcom 3 as they released Ultimate in the very same freaking year as 3...
I remember how Marvel vs. Capcom would fall and fall hard thanks to Infinite. That and when Dragon Ball FighterZ came out, it basically destroyed MvC. It was such a mess that it led to Marvel/Disney & Capcom blaming each other for it's failure. That and it's heavy emphasis on focusing into the MCU killed it. Screw that. FighterZ was just so better.

I didn't think that people ship goku with rogue, yet here we are. Then again, it could work out for them if in a alternate universe as long as goku doesn't croak on accident. Didn't they ditch the 2D style for the 3D with the third MVC game? As much as I love Deadpool fighting Haggar with supports from Felicia and Morrigan, I liked MVC2 more. Still preferred 3 over Infinite though...
They dropped 2D but they maintained it's comic book style graphics so it kept it's integrity.

I love the story to infinite but the game play and lack of characters was horrible a lot of the character felt heavy

Marvel vs Capcom "Infinite" destroyed itself by being a terrible follow-up to Marvel vs Capcom 3. FighterZ is a good game on its own merit, but it didn't do as much damage to the MvC series as MvC Infinite did to itself.
Marvel v Capcom Infinite felt sterile and by the numbers. It lacked the impactful style that other Capcom games are known for. Infinite looks like a game that was not created with love and care.
dragon ball fighterz sorry to say sucked. I still to this day play MVCI. I will die on this hill. DBFZ was nothing but try hard central. I put the game down after I got ultra instinct goku and making it to super saiyan 2 rank. And only came back 2 more times for super saiyan 4 gogeta and android 21 lab cout. and i said somehow the game was going to muck up down the line. and sure enough...when rollback netcode dropped and the atrocious update breaking the game...I joyfully wooped.

This is my favorite game EVER and ima og gamer Super Nintendo donkey Kong country - I never had as much fun and emotions broken controllers when playing a game - at the highest level this is a true dragonball fight! It's a pretty simple explanation. FighterZ was awesome, Marvel Vs Capcom Infinite was junk.

As it should have because the west has been MID AS HELL now in today's gaming at least.
Now Capcom should abandon Marvel and make a new VS game, Sega or Namco be much better partners than Disney, or even just Capcom's IPs alone would be enough to fill up the roster.
Dragonball didn't do anything. You can blame the death of MvC on M. Or rather, the company that owns them now: Disney. Maybe Capcom had a hand in this since they developed the game and the things in it like Crackhead Dante and Chun Li's face, but that was the least of Infinite's problems.
