I bought this a few weeks back--it was a blind buy for me. I am absolutely in love with it. The creamy rice notes really come alive on my skin. I only wish it lasted longer on me!! This is definitely a forever scent for me..I will be repurchasing this one.
On me the rice/sesame is short lived on me and the slight floral mimosa and woods comes thru on me and it’s AMAZING. This is a dumb reach and easy grab. I’d repurchase if I was out of it. That’s how much I like it!
SEAsians will love it! Due to its warm climate, it will stays smell clean and not offending. If musky scent in successful D&g light blue becomes hit, it sure it does (just remove the citrus, add the milky rice + clean paper).
I love this scent! And it lasts a decent amount of time (6 hours), which is surprising for a fragrance that is so light, and elegant. Immediately purchased 100 ml.
I have noticed that most Dyptique have hyper realistic notes.. I love how they formulate it with story same as frederic malle. I noticed also that they smell sexy as it dries in skin.
When i smelled this at the store, it smelled like a new notebook! I kept the strip for a couple of week befire purchasing and now that I bought it and put it on, it's quite different ony skin than on the strip. Very beautiful, very elegant and soft. I think on my skin the Mimosa ans Musk come through a little more but I absolutely love it. Definitely a fresh, clean "your skin but better" scent that I'm happy to wear for summer. I think my next purchase might be either be pholosykos or eau des sens
Just got to the part where you mentioned Narciso pure musc. I own that and love it but to me pure musc is a little more sexy. L'eau papier is truly just soft and light
I have been waiting for a review of this scent and it sounds like it might be right up my alley! I love the your skin but better more natural, softer scents and had an idea that this might smell that way but the way you've reacted confirms it for me! I also recently stumbled across another beautiful your skin but better from Givenchy called Dahlia Divin Eau Initiale. It may be discontinued, sadly, but it is still around at places like Scent Decant. It's a gorgeous magnolia/lotus scent with musk and touches of sweetness that I adore.
I have this perfume and it smells very powdery, light, clean and a bit warm. It smells a bit like white musk but add a bit of comfort and elegance in it. I'm not sure on the longevity yet since i dont really smell my perfume on me.
It does not smell like paper, book, or magazine at all! To me, it smells like a sticky (to powery) rice pudding with pandan leaves…a popular thing in asian desserts. It also reminds me of a muted L’artisan Parfumeur’s Le Chante De Camargue and a bit of File de Dieu by Etat Libre d’orange
Smooth and silky, words I love to hear about perfume. :) It would’ve been nice if it smelled like books, even though I probably wouldn’t have worn that, hah. This is the calm experienced when reading I suppose. TFS!
I loved my sample of this for the first 20 minutes on my skin. Then later I kept getting a weird note that is hard to describe, somewhat like mildew. Bummer.
Inabangan ko po itong review nyo.ngayon ko lng nahanap I tried this last month and i did not like it perhaps because i have tested 20+ perfumes but recently, i tried again and was so shocked how subtle sweet musky it is (milky+ fancy sweet ricepopcorn + pinipig almost like newly born baby wrapped in highend linen). The kind of musky is nakakagigil halikan sa baby. I somehow smell the wild berry in Philippines (aralitis). I thought it will not stay in my skin due its subtle notes but it stays atleast 5-6 hours on me. So instead of buying Philosylikos and eau des sens, i ended up buying this. I also bought Eau Nabati and Capital. All the reviews i have watched in other perfume channel did not suit me so i got these 3. What is your thought about eau Nabati and eau Capitale? Also the Eau des sens?
I love your description! I've not tried Eau Nabati but Eau Capitale is gooorgeous! It reminds me of FM Portrait of a Lady, but not as strong. Eau Des Sens is also quite lovely. Sparkling citrus, bright, happy, can't go wrong with it imo :)
@@DeliciousDelights i thought the perfume designer of papier developed thid scent that has resemblance to ink and rice paper pero wala ako makuhang hint. Sobrang unique nya.
Loved its simpleness and elegance in the store and bought it right away but now that I unpacked it at home I don't like it anymore 😭 too powdery, it needs more sharpness

It’s a creamy, pandan, powdery rice scent that did it for me. Love it. I just wish the initsl opening was not that sharp
Im praying Diptyque decides to do a EDP like they do their other offerings so I can get a bottle.
I was on vacation and Papier was a conversation starter everywhere I went. I hope they never discontinue.
🖤
Papier is a love at first sniff for me.. it’s smell like a warm hug to me. So relaxing and cozy. Love love love

I just blind-bought this!! I've been waiting for someone to review!!! Thank you! Relieved that you like it!

Thanks for your review Arlene! Diptyque are usually worth testing out. Have a great day! 💛~ Jenn
Hello how would you describe or compare this with Reserve Clean skin?
Late to the party but I just bought it. To me this is the better version of another 13
i was curious about it after i saw the review in fragrantica lol thank you for reviewing this!
I love your hair! And your reviews are a must for me before I try a perfume. Thank you!
Aww thanks 😊
Thanks for the review. It reminds me of Opsis without the incense. I do like it, though.

Gris Dior smells like fresh, new crisp paper money to me. Unisex
I’m also from NL, where do you buy samples?
I loved my sample of this for the first 20 minutes on my skin. Then later I kept getting a weird note that is hard to describe, somewhat like mildew. Bummer.
Smells like Omnia Amethyste to me.😅 I imagined L'eau Papier would be something like scented paper or a new book but it's a milder omnia amethyste.
Do you mind sharing your camera and microphone ?
Does it last long?

@@DeliciousDelights nabanggit po ng sales lady (filipina) that Kc conception loves Eau des sense. Ok din nga po yung musky upon dry down.
@@DeliciousDelights i thought the perfume designer of papier developed thid scent that has resemblance to ink and rice paper pero wala ako makuhang hint.
Sobrang unique nya.
I smelled the ink na. It smelled like newly open book (ink sa paper book na medyo may cedar alcohol note).
It smells like Bvlgari Amethyst but with rice/pandan notes

Sorry to hear that :(
Thanks Arlene I think I would like this one., I would like a fragrance from them 4-8-2023❤
Ciao! Questo profumo potrebbe somigliare a Musk Mood di Lattafa?
Diptique fragrances are all so faint. Not a house I get excited about.
I just bought it and it reminds me of Juliette has a gun, Not a perfume!
It’s another 13 all over again, nothin special :|
magtagalog ka na lng te. mas marami ka pang views
di naman sya pinoy
This is on my wishlist because of the sesame note! 🤍 so glad you reviewed this.. 😊 will sample this first…
