@@jackarlos1 Autozone in my area said that an Ohms test should be done on the wire harness to the sensor; if bad, replace the harness; if good, replace the sensor........
That's not good, that means it could be the fuel pump it could be the fuel filter it could be some line or something clogged up in the smog system I got a bunch of lines that come out of the tank and snake around underneath the tank there's some emissions control canisters and switches up under there it's possible maybe those are causing some too much pressure which is causing the error.

Unless you have the proper tools it's hard to tell because you would need to put a fuel pressure gauge on the fuel line and see how much pressure the pumps putting out If it's putting out too much then you'll get that error and then you would need to replace the fuel pump I think the easiest way to troubleshoot would be make sure it's not a fuse that's out and then the next step would be change out the sensor and then the third step change out the fuel filter and then the fuel pump.
My 06 v6 mustang has been cutting out after stopping and during driving, got the p1093 code. Is anyone else having these symptoms?
That actually is one of the symptoms that could be causing that code I mean it could be the sensor itself or it could be the fuel pump so or maybe the fuse I would start with the fuse and then work my way through I mean if you get another sensor try that and then when there's really I don't think there's any way of knowing unless you start swapping out parts and see what happens
I’ve been having the same issue with my 06 v6 mustang it would stall at times while driving and just recently it stopped working at all, it gave off the same code plus p0172
@@kaiwilliams9735 when you turn the key on to the ignition but don't actually start the car I think you turn the key twice it clicks twice do you hear the fuel pump running?
Now the mechanic chargin 2.4K saying my computer is dumping fuel into the engine?? Man I shoulda saved up for a solara no cap
WHATS THE NAME OF THE COMPANY THAT YOU GOT THE GOOD SENSOR FROM?
I would buy a factory Ford one if I was you.
So the moral of the story? Buy middle of the range sensors? If they're really cheap buy a couple and sell them on?
Yeah this is true, and I found it to be true with other car parts you think they'd all be made pretty much the same but unfortunately not. And one thing I really found out if the parts really hard to put on make sure you get a good one because it could cost you more put it on and taking it off then the part itself just in your time and then if your car breaks down that could really cost you be stranded somewhere.
I'm having this same issue! Been having p0193 code but already changed fuel pump, relay, filter and this sensor (tried 3 different ones lol) and it still won't go away!!:( anybody got suggestions? I'm guessing its an electrical issue at this point
I think AutoZone has free tools to lend you or they have a tool rental I think a lot of times they'll lend them to you for free for a day or two and you might need to get a fuel pressure gauge and put it on that rail the fuel rail and then turn the engine key on and see how much pressure there is on that rail That way you'll at least know that hey there's a problem with the fuel pump pumping too much pressure or if it's correct then it's got to be something like you said with that wiring or a bad sensors you're getting
@@JohnDaniels ahh ok yea I was thinking of just changing out the fuel rail tbh but ill take that into consideration thank you!
@@jackarlos1 You're welcome, and good luck. I was going to tell you also after I replaced the fuel pump with another fuel pump I started getting the high fuel pressure sensor error well the fuel pump I replaced it with went out I guess it was a manufacturing defect so I replaced it with another one and then after I replaced it I stopped getting the error code so it is possible that the fuel pump could be causing the problem
@@jackarlos1 Autozone in my area said that an Ohms test should be done on the wire harness to the sensor; if bad, replace the harness; if good, replace the sensor........
How do you do an ohms test
Tried the Napa one last night & it’s doing the same thing
That's not good, that means it could be the fuel pump it could be the fuel filter it could be some line or something clogged up in the smog system I got a bunch of lines that come out of the tank and snake around underneath the tank there's some emissions control canisters and switches up under there it's possible maybe those are causing some too much pressure which is causing the error.
Mahindra supro rail pressure sensor problem p0 193 humko problem Bata dijiyega
Whats the part number he got?
Will look and let you know
What make and model is this? Yr?
