I still use it, I just get skunked a lot when I take it out. I got skunked yesterday too on my pedal drive. I use certain kayaks depending on situation, but the Getaway 110 is a great kayak.
@@chiroangler I understand that. I have a hobie outback but want a Getaway 110 because of the wieght. Where did you buy the Getaway 110? Any issues with it?
@@randyprovost8426 You will need to fine tune the drive system out the box. The cables are tightened quite a bit. I had to loosen my cables on the drive. Other than that, it's a great kayak, very stable. You'll get wet though on windy days. I bought it directly from Pelican's website and they shipped it on a big semi truck.
Found a spot the other day that would be a good place for you to try out. Good boat ramp and doesn't seem to windy. I'd take some dead bait and gulp. I saw fish activity but couldn't get them to bite from the bank.
@@chiroangler I was gonna say Walter Hall Park In League City. I went last week and saw activity but couldn’t get them to bite from the bank. Saw a few fishermen out there too. Has a pier too.

@@chiroangler oh ok thanks for the info. So I’m assuming any warranty claims would be directly from the web site? How much was shipping to your home?
@@randyprovost8426 It depends on where you live, but I think I paid like $120 to ship it. I arrived very fast too.
