I used these with the Team Catfish weight slides to make a ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxdmsDj7fQXe77DC0l7P7ua8B3PiESUubM Carolina rig and they were perfect for the ponds I fish. I have also used them to make 3 way rigs and these work perfectly. Haven't had any issues with them snagging in rocks or in weeds yet.
Works perfectly!
Way cool 😎
Easy to rig and easy to remove, that’s a win win !!!
Great video 👌
It works perfectly and allows you to remove the weight to fight the fish. 👍
Great video Dan, you can also use a rubber band to attach the weight to the line and it just snaps off the line.
That's why you're the Captain, Dan!
MrBrymstond: 😉
thank you captain

Much thanks Captain Dan I found the ballon clips on line and ordered them finally found them thanks to you 🤙🤙
Mike Ward - the link for the exact clips is in the description box! We try to make it easy for you, bro!
*As Always, A Great Vid Capt. Dan! That rig would also work with cut up #6 and #7 Rebar used in concrete. You'll get 11 one inch long weights per foot with #6 rebar at 3/4" dia. giving you almost 2 oz weights and and for #7 rebar you get eleven 3 oz weights 7/8" dia. The great thing is that if you lose them they just turn to rust and they aren't lead. We used to cut up waste rebar when we were teenagers cause it was cheap and attach them to our lines with string and rubber bands... Send Heiko to the scrap yard and get him a chop saw... he likes that kind of stuff lol* ... gw
gw wile: That sounds like a very cool idea. If you ever have a few extra send them to us. I’d love to try them out. -Capt Dan

(Couldn’t help but notice your cork collection. Good work!)
Merry Wissemes Hockey: Been working on that collection for quite awhile now. 🤫😉 -Capt Dan
Great rig Capt Dan. I get tired of hand lining up 30 feet of flouro. I will have to give it a try
CPro Fishing: Do it bro. It will change the game for you. -Capt Dan
Good info Dan. Could you show us some of the fishing knots you to use attach leaders / lures. I have only ever fished with Mono, never tried Fluorocarbon or Braid. Brian
Brian O: Yup, that’s a great idea. I think you will see more tutorials in the future. Thanks for the suggestion! -Capt Dan
Capt Dan, what's the max weight you think this product can hold without releasing?
TheNicko773: So I have successfully used a10oz weight with 80lb braid; but probably could go higher. -Capt Dan
Just ordered 2 packs of those... thanks man! That's was a monster mutton!!!!!
where to find those clips

It looks really fun to fish on the deep! I havent done that yet, but some day i have to try it out. As you know im living in the middle of sweden and fishing on deeps of 2-10m (thats about 6-30 feet) so im using pretty light fishing gear.
Someday ill maby go to Norway and try some deepfishing and ill have this tip in mind :-) (renting poles then)
Very good content videos as always! Linus
Ekbergarna Linus: Thank you Linus, always appreciate hearing from you. Would love to deep sea fish Norway myself someday. Right now Alaska is on our radar. -Capt Dan
watch out for the hook Sgt Maj....
GHOST IN PLAIN SIGHT 2018: 😅😂😅🤣
Howdy Dan And Elizabeth! I have a lunkheaded question. Why do you use a long leader/fluorocarbon when mutton fishing, ie. 30 foot or more? Is it so the line is less noticeable to the fish?
Thanks and thanks for the tip
Pigging Out hey yes the big fish get big because they are smart jt🇺🇸🐟🎣⛱🛥🌴😊😃🙏🏻
@@hookednrolling2009 ok thanks. kinda what I thought.
Pigging Out: Some of these fish especially the snapper have extremely good eyesight and the water is crystal clear. A long fluorocarbon leader is a must under these conditions. -Capt Dan
@@FloridaFishingCouple Capt. Dan, I forgot about the water clarity in Florida.ha. Makes perfect since. Living here in Texas I was thinking with Texas coast logic. You have to get quite a ways off shore to find blue water. So no need for a long leader the way I fish in most cases. You guys are blessed to live in the Keys and so want to adjust the sails and head east to where the cool people live.
Cheers 🍻
Good job man I hope you see and if you do hi
Hey Grayson Sullivan!!! Thank you so much for watching and commenting!! -Capt Dan & Elizabeth
Florida Fishing Couple your gladly welcome good job on your videos
