Pretty ironic given how the French guard their language's purity as much as they do. It's incredible how often T90 blindly stumbles into saying offensive things. There's this aura of innocence to it.

Yeah, that's pretty much it, just a typo. I might also add that he could also be chilean (very common phrasing).

T90Offical, this is my favourite video of yours so far. Having watched the previous F2F videos, it was really cool to see F2F react to an early attack, handle the pressure and squeeze out the win. I find the best videos are those related to unique strategies and come from behind wins, so this was great.

It's impressive when there's a game with not one but two base trades: "I take your TC, you take my TC - my main eco TC is now where yours was. Oh, you're taking it? I'll take your new main eco base". I love pro games but the one "flaw" of them ironically is how flawless they are that moments like a double base trade are near impossible because it requires both players to leave themselves wide open.
And pro players seem to scout more so you can't get away with sneak bases so easily
I used to take the far golds first as well when I first started playing as a kid, my logic was that I'd still have a safe gold to take when I started getting attacked later on

I am trying that strategy now, but the golds takes a time to take, and the enemy can deny it, and then you are done.
That's my take. Unless it's so far into the game that the enemy can just destroy the vills and camp quickly on a whim.
5:40 i used to mine a farther gold too, thinking: "the closest one is protected, i always have time for it, better mine one more exposed, so when a lot of army walks around my base, the main gold is still untouched and safe to mine." Simple and concrete, as a common noob

He types me desodene mucho but he missed the R which is probably why your translator did not work. He means me desoRdené mucho which simply put means he messed up a lot.

I was very disordered. It translates similarly; you don't hear it much (unless you're Argentinian).

Actually, it is a very common phrasing in chile, and would translate better as "I got way too disorganized"

The overlay could be a bit bigger. The small details are getting hard to read. Top left corner, for example, make it bigger, but maybe it can be slightly transparent.

On 240P i usually watch,all the smaller details are impossible to read so i just speed count and do few other tasks and from this and achievments i see stuff

When I was a kid, a family friend gave me this game. I loved it so much. I never really understood strats or even most mechanics, but after binging so many of your videos I want to play so bad again. But I have a Mac so there’s no easy way to play it :(
I feel for Red, I'm not a tower rusher but I like to do big all in pushes and when that fails and the game goes to a boom I always feel out classed like I'm getting hit everywhere while I'm not able to be in the right spots or keep my production rolling.
This is just the legend of f2f. It's a vid focused on a specific player and his more or less unique playstyle.
I like the fact that noobs will always exist.

I think the reasoning behind going for the slightly farther stone-gold first is that if you get pressured later and you have to backup to the closest ones they'll be still full.
As opposed to starting from the closer ones and having to go farther later, when the opponent has more army

when you steal upgraded farms, and you right click to rebuild/reseed, do they stay upgraded?
I'd guess not since it is a "new building" on your side. Same like if you reseed a farm after you upgrade farms, you should get that upgrade and not an old basic farm.

the only thing that annoyed me was that F2F DIDN'T go for hussar in mp. i mean he had 2k food and 1k wood, hussar upgrade is free, so what's the GOWDDAYUM HOUDLAPP?

About taking the further gold. Before watching pros play I would always assume that going to the furtherest possible gold is the best. Because you can take it and when wars start and pressure starts, you can go back behind your walls and castles and THAN take your own secure gold.
Now I undesrstand how early aggression works and how easy those vills are to kill. Also I understand importance of vill numbers.
I think if F2F had used some of his monks to take relics earlier he would have had a much easier time of this. He had a monastery within sight of a relic for ages and never bothered to send one of his monks to pick it up.
I just played a long islands game, it was supposed to be a 2v2, a high 900 and me, (1245) and a low 1100 and a high 1200. My ally resigned in dark age, and i was mongols against mayans and Chinese.I snuck raids, but the 1100 played until he was defeated, he also tried pausing, and it took 1:30 roughly to finish that game, unfortunately, I got low on battery which auto closed my computer so I had to restart my computer and the game lasted until late at night.
I guess Pedro meant to say "i've get very messy"

This type of cluster fuck is half of my low elo legend games, I'm honestly surprised at the skill level of low elo, low elos do build orders, seige, market abuse, tower rushes etc.
Although none of them do it perfectly and everyone messes up in some way, they all play extremely solid. Feel like the 'low elo' thing is more of a meme now because the players at the lower elos are actually really solid and know way more than the average elo player did five years ago.
Not a native spanish speaker, but I actually understand "Me desoRdene mucho" as " *(this)* disturbs me a lot" as he's not too sure how F2F got out of his trap and built so much eco without him noticing

Meaning he's probably talking about the fact that he had it in the bag, got distracted and lost. Probably hes thinking he could not go for the kill on the forward just cuz a couple of siege mangs and couldn't think straight to re do his base back home and he did not switched for a counter for the composition too.

I am like Pedro, my build orders are really clean, but if I try scouts, man at arms forward, or a drush I just cant
I'm a noob and I trained vs AI to do goth M@A tower rush before going into pvp, My castle and late feudal suck but it doesnt matter if your opponent is already dead. i'm probably rusty now but I was able to hit above my weightclass in 1v1. I'm not perfect and I crumble if i'm not first to pressure but against noobs it just seems impossible to win once the towers start going up and you have to abandon gold and farms.

it means that he messed up, he screw things (in the sense that he lost his proper order to do things). It's a common expression here in the south spanish speaking countries like argentina and chile.
Pedro built way too many towers IMO. Too close together where they weren't denying much additional area, some where it was just right in between 2 and didn't do anything. Should have switched focus to breaking in with the ram about 3 towers earlier haha

pedro shouldve killed f2fs main base. He couldve made woads to easily deal with his siege since he already took out f2fs castle. He probably just forgot about it, and ended up losing his castle there for free.
This is the kind of game we want AoE to be all the time.
