T90, I don't remember what you did for the last Hidden Cup but you can use the "new" youtube option to make a premiere on youtube with the start time set as that of the Hidden Cup. That way nobody has to deal with time zones and will know exactly when it starts waaaay in advance (you can miss a normal announce video that just shows up in your subscription box but you wont miss a premiere that shows up there multiple hours in advance)

@@maasirjaved6788 if it's 12 am in my time zone a notification at that exact moment will be useless since I would have 0 reason to be awake. That's kinda my point with being notified with a "countdown".
Of course for people who watch T90 a lot this is probably not needed but for casual viewers I see it as very helpful.

I usually watch the part I missed once I wake up though. Now it's just 5PM here, so there's only a small risk that I'd fall asleep. I am quite tired after all.

@Shemsuh0r Well yeah, I guess you're right, but it's really easy to counter, because it's so high risk so early, and all you need to do is keep a watch around your base, and this strat cannot work, or at least shouldn't

You know T90 how you get really tired after you eat a bunch of sweets? Once the sugar rush subsides of course. Then it is an absolute pleasure to turn on T90Official and just fall into that deep coma and unfortunately wake up an hour later, feeling not even really rested .

There are people that would create smurf accounts or people like myself who are very good, but choose not to play ranked.

This is very similar to the strategy I used back in the day when playing AoEII(mostly galactic battlegrounds). I won games with it sometimes but always presumed it was a noob concept after watching stuff on this channel. Apparently it's legendary? I thought the concept of splitting your economy and sending villagers to a part of the map closer to your opponent to surprise them with a castle/fortress is kind of intuitive for noobs.
same. That's my current mid level strat on blackforest, just sending a villager at start to make hidden barracks/archery/stables on the opponent's side of the map. it's wonderful against low level players or just too formatted players, but a bit a scouting just blow the thing. I'm surprised to see that here.
Sneak villagers aren't uncommon in pro games, but sneaking villagers to make eco in enemy base is why the F2F startegy is legendary

Monk siege isnt as bad with turks as you would think. The faster gold collection is a huge bonus for that strat.

His voice is soothing and he equalizes or whatever so his voice doesnt fluctuate aggressively, giving it an asmr feel without the creepy whispering
I cant see the Map Type in yourn Overlay, could it maybe be added in next to the Minimap? Just a suggestion, but its sometimes hard to see if its Arabia, Gold Rush, El Dorado, etc...
Those maps are so vastly different so I dont think it's worth it. But I could understand the confusion.

Ok, I already wrote this, but i feel it's worth repeating, in case T90 missed it the first time and I believe he'd welcome any feedback. I like the overall usefulness of the new overlay but ihave some things i think could be better.
I feel like the resources bar is to thick, I'd make it half or 75% of the original height.
Same goes for the player names on the top, you could have the names smaller and have a good amount of the information that now lies underneath the names right in that section, instead.
I also feel the bottom part of the overlay is a bit too big. I realize part of it won't be visible for HC3 but it still feels thick to me. Maybe condense a bit the minimap and make it's box transparent instead of black.
The Lower left section could be smaller but not too much as I imagine it won't be much use with 8 players if it's too small.
Function suggestion: have an hotkey to completely hide the overlay, it might be useful for thumbnails or if you want to really "savor" the moment, like a bugged bird party!
Finally, an aesthetic feedback, so really not mandatory or needed, but the black modern design kinda clashes with the game aesthetic. I would go for a parchment background and a medieval border, somewhat similar to AoE's original, but I realise that would be far from the twitch stile of T90, so maybe make the background a much lighter gray with a canvas texture and a relief decoration border in black and gray and that could fit the casting stile a bit more, but both solutions would get rid of the "dark text not visible" problem

The upper sizes are optimized to work on mobile, lower resolutions and further away TVs.

It will contain additional information like score, match series info etc.
The bottom will be completely different and adapt T90s OBS overlay and contain stuff like twitch hat etc while being much smaller and less intrusive.

It is the remastered version "definitive edition". It is using a new server based system.

I put T90 videos on to fall asleep to, but I always go back the next day and re-watch what I missed.
I normally go 1.25x or 1.5x (but I do that for everything on youtube). And I really like the ability to watch when I want, pause when necessary and continue where I left off. But despite all that, I think I'll still show up to HC3 and at least have it open in a tab on my laptop, to support the event (assuming that the timezone works for me).

I may still fall asleep. But your voice is relaxing and I fall asleep to a lot of youtubers with relaxing content. AoE isnt a crazy adrenaline rush always. So it's suitable for that.

Incredible new viable strategy. Won't work every time vs high level players, but it's another seriously dangerous strategy they have to think about and possibly counter. If they counter wrong, it's a fast match.

Its all about the twitch vods a few hours delayed to catch up as you finish at 2/2.5x speed
well, yeah. Hidden proxy works in pro Starcraft, why not work here. That's why pro SC players scout usual positions for proxies. It's different here, since there are no usual proxy positions, but scouting and brains are still a key to success, when playing a strategy game with fog of war...
I normally watch just here (in 1,75), but I'm planning to watch at least part of HC3 live
I like the new overlay but I think the bottom left and the map area could be a bit smaller, kind of takes up too much of the screen.
No worries that was just work in progress since we didn't have T90s OBS design yet. We are pretty satisfied with the final result you can see in the actual events games though :)

please move the large map to the corner to and swap it with the info on the hottom right.
the info on left, swap the names at top with the (almost always empty) bottom, then make the top bit transperent instead of a black bar, so whenever t90 selects something, it will appear but without a black bar, just as less annoying overlay

hmm 2x speed is a bit to much for me, the sound is more or less a big blur
i normaly go with 1.25x, so its more of a normal speed and cou can still seperate the different sounds
all in all going to the livestream wont be as bad for me :D

I think its because of the Jannisaries. If vanilla didnt resign at this point, mbl would have created and sent 5-6 of them forward pressuring vanilla. Scouts/Light Cav, Infantry and Mangonels all melt to Jannisaries, plus when its yourself being castle vs feudal age its most likely you're in the better position unless your eco sucks.
