I replaced my digitizer and force touch sensor and now I’m stuck on the apple logo… What troubleshooting can I do to see what the issue is? This is on a series 3 watch with cellular and gps… Thanks for any info
Start from the beginning and retrace everything. Pay close attention. Test with the original parts. Try again with known good parts. If it worked before the repair attempt then something you did or installed may be causing a problem.
Hey there, I know this video is a year old but I wanted to ask if you have had the chance to take a look at the Apple Watch SE yet. I have one I need to get repaired and am not sure how to go about it. It's also extremely hard to find any parts for it so I imagine it'd be pretty expensive.
Best video I’ve seen for battery replacement. Got my battery in and almost all the glue off. One question tho..does using alcohol damage the parts at all? I’m using 70%
Is there a way to factory reset the watch without force touch being enabled? I was basically refurbing one and I took the LCD from an icloud locked S3 Cell + GPS and moved it to a S3 GPS but there is no force touch.
Great video. very detailed and well filmed. I have a question. I intent to use the T7000 glue to glue the glass display (instead of the Double Sided Adhesive Tape know). can I also use T7000 to glue the force touch gasket?
Well.... I know who I'm sending my broken or malfunctioning iOS equipment to! Your entire presentation is what encouraged me to SUBSCRIBE and hit the 🔔. Very meticulously-skilled and steady hands. Really Great, GREAT work my friend! Magnificently Steller, to be honest 👏🏽👌🏽👏🏽👌🏽. You can Expect packages from me in the future, I have a few things needing sorted that I'm to amateurish to attempt. Would appreciate such a seasoned pro taking good care of my property. Your channel is such a phenomenal find. Thank you merely for existing!
My goodness, what an incredible video! You are like a surgeon! I broke my Apple Watch 3 screen and I thought I could replace the screen myself. So I bought a locked Apple Watch 3 that was in great condition. When I received it, the screen was working and it was just locked. I removed it and put it on my broken watch, and it doesn't work now. I'm not sure what I did wrong But at this point I have more money into it than it would be worth sending it in to be repaired. I did tear the force touch screen ribbon on the new one, but I think that part is in tact in my old watch that isn't locked. Any recommendations? Thanks again for such an incredible video.
Wow... that kinda sux. ok.... lets review all we did. Have you damaged anything on the watch you are attempting to fix? If the cable or pop connectors are damaged in any way then you are screwed. If not then things aren't not connected properly. Otherwise you have done some other damage which is easy to do. Please let me know after you have reviewed everything. Cheers.
Hello in mine appears the snake with the red flash, when I put it in charge it turns green and turns off but then does not recharge. Do you think it could be the battery?
Nice video! I have my new replacement screen on, and before I committed to fully closing the display with adhesive, I wanted to test out the force touch. To my dismay, it doesn’t work. Is it because I don’t have the display glued shut yet, because I definitely didn’t damage the force touch sensor at all. I have been closing the display and pushing hard but nothing happens
The screen does not need to be sealed for the sensor to function. If the force touch sensor is not working then it is either not plugged in or it has been damaged and needs to be replaced.
This will be a little confusing to some- It doesn’t work? What? The force touch or the phone? Firstly, if the watch isn’t turning on then try sitting it on the charger as this should start it up. If it’s the touch then try reconnecting the connections again.
Has anybody come across that when force touch gasket is replaced the firce touch nolonger works? I know the force touch is being removed in watch os7 I just need to know if anyone has a fix
Hi Luke, I have the same situation. I replaced my dead battery and broken force touch gasket, unfortunately the force touch didn't function at all. Anyone can help ?
Do you have the mini cable that plugs into the mini port (curved end, where one of the wrist straps slides into)? Thanks also, does using the wireless charger seem to shorten the battery life?
Ok I'm trying to be discreet about this but, I've replaced a few touch ribbons, all have been successful except the series 3 1859, no matter what new touch ribbon is used, no force touch at all. If anyone has any information about this issue, fill me in please and if it's a certain manufacturer on both the lcd and touch ribbon that is better than the rest please let me know
Test with a known good force touch sensor. Close inspection of the connector for anything out of place or obstructing proper connection. Use microscope to see detail if possible.
@@FixItPlanet1 ok, for a update since all that, turns out it was the certain manufacturer of the lcd, once I switched to a different manufacturer, the force touch worked.
Hello, Could it be that after this job so well done the Apple Watch is again water resistant?
Thank you for make this good video!
Hope i will get it done too, need a new glass and force touch sensor.
Best time to change the battery as well..
Best of luck!
Nos that Apple has disabled the force touch do we need that casket anymore ,can I leave my Apple Watch without it after breaking it ?
Really interesting thank you for uploading this wonderful video!

Ok not really but try to use 99.99 when ever possible.
Awesome demostrations man. One question. The device you use to test the battery amps......how does it call? is not on your list of tools. thank you
I'll add these to my list Thanks!
USB Voltage Meter amzn.to/3MbnwGE
USB-C Charging Meter Macbooks amzn.to/3K5TDWg
@@FixItPlanet1 Thanks. They are not the same one you used tho. But thank you
If I close my Apple Watch without that sensor, what can happen?

I would not use liquid glue unless no other choice. Must be used in very precise way no spillage.
@@FixItPlanet1 Thanks
Also I am using t7000 glue should I put a layer of glue on both the screen and the back or just the back? Thanks again great video!
I don't ever use liquid glue.

How do you make sure it’s waterproof after this?
It will not be water proof.

Did the product maintain water resistance?
Rather with glue B7000 instead of the 2. duct tape 🤷🏽♂️
The touch glass S2 is the same S3 ?
What are the tiny contacts at the 19:23 mark used for?
Antenna connector because this is the LTE version

yes the battery is probably bad.
@@FixItPlanet1 Thank you
What to do if I pressed the wrong button on my apple watch series 3 and it shows a water drip sign. It has no water . What should I do?
Turn the crown until the drip goes away.
Wow wow wow thanks for sharing
Thank you too

Ok so there are 2 types of force touch sensors on ebay, one has a smaller connector and another one has a bigger connector what is the difference
Jash440 I tried to swap the sensor from one watch to the other and noticed the same too
Bigger connector for the LTE version, it has Antenna Within the force sensor

Glad it was helpful!
I've only done 1 apple watch and the display would not come on I used 2 different screen and still nothing. Could you help with the issue
Most people does not want to work on them because it's hard to pair back to the phone also do you have anything about this
Did you find out the problem with your issue? I also used 2 different screens and it will not turn on now. I also replaced the battery.
Спасибо большое за видео! Очень подробно!👍
😀

If not from the wireless charger, how we can charge this apple watch??
