This is so amazing! I did a glass only screen replacement for my Apple Watch Series 3 and I didn’t know why there was a third connector but now I see that other than one for touch and another for the display, there’s also one for the NFC and ambient light sensor. And it’s also really cool how everything can be separated and replaced individually if necessary. It makes repairing things so much more efficient
had to do this for a damaged ZIF connector on the NFC, caused the watch to not boot. Couldn't find replacement ZIF ports, then saw this and realised how simple it is to just swap out an NFC coil with ZIF, solved in minutes.
hi there.very nice video.i would like to know on what temperature do you set the vacumm as i need to change the NFC with one that works and i do not want to break the display or burn it.
Did you ever tried to repair the oled of an Apple Watch 5? What could be the reason why its not turning on? Its not cracked or something like this. Could it it be that something under the Cover on the display flex cable is damaged? A diode oder resistior? Thanks for your opinion.
Your video was very inspiring, I followed all and I managed to separate LCD from Dégitiezer screen , unfortunately I damaged the black ribbon that connects the three connectors under LCD with the touch connector dégitiezer... now LCD doesn’t work ... any advice ? Do you have an email so I can send you the details ? Thanks
very interesting. I am curious if I could replace the NFC portion of the display by using this technique to separate the NFC chip and antenna from the display, but with a not-broken glass idk if it's possible
@@abzadbu mind that you can buy just the digitizer only and it comes with a connector of this type. As such it appears the manufactures of the digitisers have access to this type of connectors
Congratulations, as your usual another interesting video! I have a question... is it safe to break the edges of the glass with pliers even on a series 4 so as to pass the molybdenum wire more easily to change only the glass? Thanks for the reply!

Hi, is the glass touch screen the same in series 2 and 3 (42mm)?
very interesting. I am curious if I could replace the NFC portion of the display by using this technique to separate the NFC chip and antenna from the display, but with a not-broken glass idk if it's possible
yep, possible

Soren Boucher there’s a link in the system

Where can I buy these connectors?

Another solid video. I have removed the glass on 6 apple watches waiting for digitizers now. Your videos helped me a a lot. Thank You
SN that’s amazing! Keep up the good work!
What is the liquid used to remove the tape?
Can you tell me please where to get these connectors? I broke mine while try to plug in the cable

@@gregd72002 no this type of connector isn‘t buyable worldwide. I asked about 10 companys about that.
