Creeping Death just made a huge fan. I love the direction that the Banger team has taken on important social issues. Pay day is coming and I’ll be putting my money where my heart is.
@Perpetual Havoc I have not only listened to Blood Incantation but I've seen them live with Necrot, Morbid Angel, and Immolation. Blood Incantation might have a more "original" sound but as far as the fidelity of their recording go, Creeping Death has a much better produced record. Every instrument (including the bass!!!) Is pretty clear in the mix. Blood Incantation's mixes are very muddy and have a Scott Burns quality to them (that I am almost positive is purposeful). If you listen to both records from a decent set of monitors it becomes quite clear that Creeping Death have higher fidelity recordings.
Great interview. I’m black and passionate about Metal music because it’s been an important my life for about 15 years now. But I would have liked is the point about metal being a safe haven for white supremacy to be elaborated upon. When live shows in London, United Kingdom 🇬🇧 (that’s where I live) we’re still a thing, you slowly started to see the ethnic demographic of the crowd start to change which is a major positive for Metal to show the world that it’s not just a white guy thing🤘
Thank you SO MUCH for this. It’s very important that this conversation doesn’t rest or die down. We all need to be talking about systemic racism, violence, and inequality. I already loved BangerTV, but this just kicked y’all up a whole bunch of notches. Also, Creeping Death is killer!
"Defund," does NOT mean abolish and do not fund, it means reallocation of a portion of the funding to mental health professionals, educational and occupational training, drug treatment and rehabilitation, conflict de-escalation training, instead of armored tank track vehicles, military gear for civilian law enforcement, etc. I am good friends with many law enforcement officers and ALL of them would MUCH rather have mental health professionals to deal wit non-violent, mental health or domestic situations, which is not typically a police matter, and is a waste of police resources.
Definitely a great interview y'all!Creeping Death's an amazing band trailblazing with a grimey sound thats paving the way for the future sound right along with all the amazing Texas Metal bands coming out. My nephew Eric plays in the band and I'm extremely proud of him and the fellas. Y'all keep kickin ass✊🏽
This interview was way better than I had hoped, big ups! Hit many points that are so important. Cheers to DK for bringing this forward and using the platform consciously. I came from a small town full of white ppl and didn’t know how much I had to unlearn... if one person isn’t free, one of us are.
Texas Metal also had a strong underground thrash metal scene. With Devastation, Watch Tower, Rigor Mortis, Rotting Corpse, X.I.L, and Mace! San Antonio till this day is the Heavy Metal Capitol of the world!
yeah great interview. i loved how you talked about the BLM Movement and how BANGERTV supports that. Thank You!!! it's really my wish that the world would get along more if we all would coexist peacefully as Humans and not some divided mass of races, so our people would've developed better and we might have a cleaner planet for that matter. though I hate of fighting and conflicts but I completely stand against Racism and Discrimination in general even when I'm wearing Metal T's and gears. I get constantly looked down upon because of my autism but Metal gave me the encouragement and strength to be myself and feel accepted. I am SupremeFreak (it's actually based on Supreme Kai from Dragon Ball z and Freak for loving Heavy Metal and 777 is my lucky number), Greeting from the Netherlands \m/
Thanks guys for bringing the conversation in such a difficult moment , im so glad to heard of bands that are more multiracial , often i wander why we don't have more bands like ex. Living Colours , Sepultura , Herrumbre , EZO , Angra , ( too many to list ) we have a big problem with systemic rascism and in my opinion ( that don't have a place in Metal ) or shouldn't have at all .
Idk if any of you live in the UK but Daniel gets it way better than the leader of the Labour (left wing) party. Who said it was a 'moment' not a movement. And thought defunding was insane. Props. great stuff.
That was a great conversation about BLM and the ongoing injustice. I love Metal and never care who is playing the music. As long as I can connect to the music color, race or creed don't matter to me.
Makes sense they pinged out from the hardcore thing. Funny I wasn't a big DM guy in the old days( except Entombed) and have been schooled and shootin' so much cool stuff DM adjacent, Tomb Mould, Powertrip this crusher from CD. It makes sense to me coming from The punk/ hardcore thing. I dunno what touring , destroyed by Covid, would be like if you chucked These guys. , Code Orange, Midnight, Goatwhore, on a bill. Seems like the kinda thing that would work...
I challenge both of you to go walk around in Gulf Port Mississippi at night. I spent 27 yrs in the USN and I have a lot of good friends that are African American. You would not survive the night. This is a cultural thing. An educational thing. Education is crap in the south. White people have legitimate cause for concern. You as a Black Man have a legitimate cause for concern. Do not just sit in your glass house, go and see for yourself. I love your music by the way.
Everyone is entitled to his opinion. If he’s annoyed that there’s politics in this discussion, then that’s a valid point. Through all this the best thing we can learn is to be nicer to each other and a little more patient.
This is definitely NOT nonsense. Hails to Banger TV for getting the discussion out there and doing so in a punctual and informative manner. Thank you guys for being a voice of positivity and reason and for being my favorite channel. Black Lives Matter.
One of the most promising death metal bands around.
Stoked for their next release!
Creeping Death just made a huge fan. I love the direction that the Banger team has taken on important social issues. Pay day is coming and I’ll be putting my money where my heart is.
Cheers!
Creeping Death has the best produced Death Metal record of 2019. It sounds *stellar*

Creeping Death got that siiick old Entombed sound

Keeping it real.
Loved the sociopolitical discussion. Great interview!

Did someone copy and paste your comment? Cause I saw this twice already

Hell yeah, go OSU. Was hoping to learn about his guitar tone/gear.
When the new album comes out we'll do this again and get nerdy about tones & gear. :)
awesome job daniel keep it up!!!
Great interview
Hell yea banger. This is how u use a platform
Great chat both! Important chat too =]
Their name is great, but it sucks that when you look up Creeping death live on youtube only Metallica videos appear

I got to see them before the apocalypse 😤

a really old school death metal type of band that is disproving these modern so-called death metal but they're just hardcore kids in deathcore shirts.
Great microphone but the sound is so bad, Trey's sound is better. lol
Pretty sure that name was used by countless Metallica tribute bands.....
What the hell?Thought this was about the bands music.
awww does politics make you uncomfortable? lol
❄️
@@eb9067 Really?HAHAHAHA!
Gotta do some virtue signaling jump on the bandwagon homie

I was about to watch this but then you brought up Black Lives Matter nonsense
Why do you say nonsense?
This is definitely NOT nonsense. Hails to Banger TV for getting the discussion out there and doing so in a punctual and informative manner. Thank you guys for being a voice of positivity and reason and for being my favorite channel. Black Lives Matter.
Should focus on that part dude. Big ups for this talk
