Between a relationship that just sort started to cement surprisingly at the Ball and more afterwards (Aman & Stacy), just loved this version and the whole weekend. Cheers!
It's probably too late now but this video needs some volume normalization. It's significantly quieter than the other videos in this playlist. What an incredible event though! Can't wait till Phish does another festival...
@@jackeminor If I'm not mistaken, I think they had started trying coke by this time. You can tell that it was at the beginning of that darker side though, cause they are still soooooo in sync and alive. Trey especially looks like he's lit, but still with us.
One thing that stood out to me that weekend was how great the piano sounded. It was like a melodic drum set in those peak moments. So great...I also remember the smell of the mud. Among other things...
trey looks perfectly fine here. he’s probably partying a bit it was a phish festival in the 90s however hes probably more sober than 90% of the crowd. the best years were still ahead. nothing beats 1997,1998,1999,2000 phish. thats when things got weird and for the next 3-4 years with the band got questionable at times and more so up until his 2006 arrest
Trey was super psyched that weekend. I always thought he was on psychedelics. At one point (might have been lemonwheel) he started talking to the audience about some real abstract stuff - we are all light etc - and he seemed genuinely blissed out and feeling something special but just couldnt quite find the words and I think Fishman bailed him out. Anyone remeber that?
how does this only have 8,600 views this is the best bag ever
12/30/95 disagrees
I was there and 100% agree. That was a fun weekend.
There’s 50 better then this but still good
I feel like I'm in my 20's listening to this. Seems like it was yesterday.
thanks! My favorite version to this day.

Think they were having audio issues on this particular track cause even the vinyl version sounds similar to this.
I was there Paige's side of stage by the light tower.

Trey looks so shot in this lmao
Motherphunker I think he later (basically) admitted to being fucked up the entire weekend. Didn’t affect his playing very much. At least not then...
