Turn that friggin phone on silent or buzz Jesus Christ
I was in my forklift and I kept checking my phone thinking it was my notification. 😅
It blows me away that in this day and age of podcasts and webcasts, people will still fail to put their phones on silent or get proper microphones. Some people are determined to keep sounding like they are still guests on AM radio, it’s always the same demographic too.
Edit: absolutely love the show, been listening Matt worked at the globe and was a part timer on team1040 on bmacs mid day show

$5mil times 6yrs for Big Z was the poison pill the Canucks dodged. Lindholm never had chemistry with Pety, so signing him for $7.5mil times 7 made no sense. He would be stuck on the 3rd line playing with Dak and Gar. Signing Guentzel for $9.5 mil times 7 would have meant Brock walks next year plus we would have to sign a bunch of fringy role players for $1mil 1yr deals and hope they pan out but most probably won't...

I know Shannon is a great interview, yadda yadda. But when Matt brought up Colie Campbell it obviously hit a nerve which John thought he could end by claiming the guy was his friend. Now you realize that John is an NHL gatekeeper. Stay in your lanes hockey fans. Our JS is a made man
