- Today we take a look at one or two of the esoteric meanings of the symbol of the Dragon, specifically the Head and Tail of the Dragon, the Caput Draconis and Cauda Draconis found representing the Lunar Nodes in Astrology, and also found in Geomancy.

😃Ketu and Rahu in Vedic Astrology
Those glyphs are called geomantic characters of the nodes, which are made by connecting the dots of the tetragrams in various ways, they can be used for the creation of talismans etc. There's a table of them in Francis Barrett's The Magus and I believe I've seen it somewhere else that I can't recall. Great video as usual!

My mom really liked this one Denis. She just got out of the hospital a few weeks ago after almost passing away. Was a big crossroads for her and my entire family. Prior to her going into the hospital, me and her had gotten really close, we were already close as mother and son go, but through December and January we reached a level of understanding and communication with each other that is beyond words. She told me about this inner dream of hers that relates heavily to dragons, and I think after hearing this, was able to get something very profound from these words. She is about to step onto her own magical initiation, at the age of 74, and personally I think her dream is directly related to that initiation. Very profound work as usual my friend, and I know it's been a while since I interact at all here in comments or in the discord 😅 but I've had a lot of work to do in many ways. I'm very happy to see how much your channel and magical path and work in general has come in these last 2 years, and im happy to support still, 🙏. Blessings to you and family. ⚖️

Hello mam i just gotntonthis video from random memorie from when i almost passed away, my liver was failing and also my other organs... Why?the docs cant explain that one.....i dont know if you believe in the supernatural, but during the last days of my health declining a bird would visit every night after 12 am ... Later on i figured its sound was from a peacock not one of my nieghbors ever saw it but we all heard it.... So heres the thing i believe i died in my sleep i was in very bad shape, i saw myself underneath the earths crust... I saw the plates moving it was like a hufe mountain when. I would look up and then there it was.. THE DRAGON flying in circles.. it never moves from that area. It looked like when you have a dog in a cage and it wants to get out , so much i even felt bad for it, i also saw from where i was standing people walking and disappearing, people dressed from old times like 1800s outfits and then other from todays generation all walking through one another like ghost .. but they didnt know..... The floor was like just rock and dirt very uneven .... I knew i had died i knew somehow i just knew...

Dragons are quite amazing! I loved them since I was a child, I even re-purposed a dragon statue I got for Christmas one year for a representation of a dragon goddess. Dragons are quite powerful, they are alchemically transformative in energy.
Something to note: Some people consider dragons to be either a very powerful serpent, or the combined symbol of the bird and the serpent. I personally think it depends on the dragon, earthly dragons have more serpent qualities and celestial dragons have more bird qualities but it's possible to balance both too.
They are an amalgam of three predators our most distant mammalian ancestors needed to fear - snakes, falcons, cats. It resides at the very root of consciousness.

South Node also has a strong spiritual connotation. I have learned to observe them as magnetic pulls, in that north node pulling towards ego/material and south node towards soul evolution/enlightenment. Love your work, thank you!

Ahh, the abundance of talent manifested. I am wondering what it is about drawing as opposed to painting, that comes through many spiritualists - and is drawing more closely connected to creation. thank you for you knowledgeable videos. i appreciate them. i wish you and your love ones well. dragons have been part of my existence for along time, when i was earlier in existence( young in body 7-8-9 years of age ) created a game a school whom i played with my crush at school and i was a dragon called serpentraptor and used to rescue her and lived between two trees. then i use play it by myself as i create draw "bad guys monsters" to face off agaisnt as i play the role of this mighty dragon to overcome. ive loads of dragons in my room. i just adore them. thank again for what you do.❤🙏

Denis whats your opinion that so many cultures have saints killing dragons?(St Michael, St George)Today i actually found out something due to a very unfortunate event in greece.There was a horrible train accident in the Vale of tempe. Many deaths mostly young students going to university. Aparently there is a legend that says Apollo was hunting a beast called python(Dragon) from delfoi and was able to defeat it at the vale of tempe.Since then the place was cursed so every 9 years young people(Apollo being the god of youth) had to go there and light a fire "destroying the beast nest" to cleanse the place. Obviously that hasn't happened for hundreds of years but what is weird is that in the past years there have been many horrific accidents in that place with multiple deaths always involving young people. Its interesting also that we can see Apollo hunting a dragon which i haven't heard before.
Andrew Chumbley defines the dragon as the primal concupiscence, the primordial darkness of chaos as ‘Woman’, but psychologically it represents our mammalian ancestors’ terrifying predators.. snakes/alligators, falcons, big cats, mixed together. Either definition will certainly write itself into about any sustainable hero myth we carry.

I also just wanted to add, having someone visually explain some of these (however basic) concepts of astrology is incredibly helpful for someone like myself who has trouble truly conceptualizing them from just reading on it. I personally don't think I have the head for it and have to work extra hard just to keep up but youve got a real knack for teaching! So( point being) more astrological content much welcomed!

There is also a minor Tradition which can also be called geomancy, orienting on feng shui or its indian counterpart (I dont remember the sanskrit word). Basicly magic by manipulating the surroundings with construction like stones, buildings or just furniture. Its quite interesting.

Sort of reminds me of how Akatosh and his various aspects (including Alduin) are explained in the Elder Scrolls Universe as the Aedric God of Time. Makes you wonder how much esoteric symbolism Kirkbride put into the lore before he left Bethesda.

I remember being in the third grade and being in class when a solar eclipse occurred. We knew, of course, and were prepared. It was amazing. Day became night and I was in love with the in-between things in life. I've always loved extreme natural events. I've literally stood in the path of a tornado and it raised as it passed me and descended back to the ground when it passed me. It actually destroyed part of the local mall. I know it's a bit foolish but these are intensely spiritual things for me. Btw, a Texas thunderstorm is way louder than one in the Colorado mountains. Colorado has rolling thunder. Texas thunder rattles your house if it's great enough.

On the point of Geomancy there are a few good videos out there, and one I find fascinating shows the African divination masters at work.
Just a fun fact that has less to do with dragons per se, but rather with the word dragon in Latvian which would be "Pūķis". It's a also a word of a household spirit (at times also called Vilcis or Velcis from the Latvian word Vilkt, which means to pull) who "dragged" good material stuff to your household, like money, wheat, anything you'd think a peasant might want materialistically speaking, and helped you accumulate it(or hoard it, was intrigued myself by this aspect of it not being a dragon, but still having this hoarding aspect to it, that's attributed to dragons in fairy tales), but ONLY if you left it offerings and took care of it. For example like a cup of milk and bit of bread on the windowsill every now and again. If you didn't take care of it, it was said to go to another house dragging along all it helped you accumulate

Either node, doesn't matter. What matters is the phase of the moon. Full moons happen when the sun is shining face-on from the earth's perspective, that means the sun's behind us, so the shadow of the Earth gets cast over the moon. If the moon is New, then it means that the sun is behind the moon from the earth's perspective, so if it's at one of the points where the moon and the sun's elipses meet, then the moon is going to appear to 'cover' the sun. So it's only the phase of the moon that matters, not which node 😊
They also represent eternity and they have represented conflict and yin/yang in the east.
