I agree that would be awsome for tinning wires but in case of soldering a component on a board or desoldering the component from the board, it just provides an extra hand to grab the board or component

To be honest i haven't used it much, according to me the conclusion in the video still stands, hence i didn't feel the need to make a follow up video..

reviews of this product on amazon are very bad ,What is your experience with this product?
According to me it is useful in certain scenarios but considering the price its not considerable and therefore has bad reviews
The soldering gun you have is not new because it has been used already
I would suggest getting a cheap solder pot to tin wires instead of this.
