- Howdy peoples, today I'm wanting to share with you Puddin my 395xp in large hard wood. I'm starting to work on my filing again, I feel like a noob starting out again. Aaron Has taught me some things I hadn't know in tooth angles and the science behind the cut. Look how fast his rig is in this vid

100% agree with chatter in hard maple, especially in the angled cut of a notch and throwin' dust! 43yo here, always learnin' 🙌
12:53 we only have 1 of you! They make new saws everyday.
The best Ole Puddin has sounded in years! 💪
Yes sir it took long enough for me to learn but we getting there
Nice to see the trees falling again with Puddin in hand. Also was good to hear you say you are willing to learn - working smarter not harder.
Good to see you out cutting with ole pudden Wade. Always enjoy watching your hand cutting vidjas. Have a good one.

Thanks, will do!
yes sir... Great stuff love it
I like the square filed chain i only use it about 1/3rd of the time cause it tends to get dull way faster when I'm cuttting dirty wood
Got ya thanks
Carful out there bud! Have fun!
Awesome video I just love watching you fall trees
Thanks Ronda
This guy is awesome.
Man oh man Logger Wade in the morning 💪💪

Hi Wade that look like a close one when that tree grabbed your saw please be careful when you're out there happy cutting
Hope all is well sir stay safe an have a good weekend.
Has mudd season started yet over there it just about starting here in New Hampshire
Square or Round file... Just go buy a Stihl 2 in 1 file and use it 1 or two strokes per tank of fuel. It's easy and keeps your teeth sharp and your rakers lowered at the same time. Super easy to use in the woods with a stump vice or in the shop with a bench vice. I rarely use my chain grinder unless I really mess a chain up with a rock or something. You can tell when the tooth is sharp because the drag on the file will become easier to push through. My Grandpa is 92 and owned a logging mill for 40 years and always hand sharpened his chains. He got a 2 in 1 for Christmas and hasn't looked back at a regular file in over 10 years. He thinks it's the best thing since sliced bread.
Yes I've heard of this and Aaron whipped one out in saw class
Dont press hard or it will take your drags too far down too bore.
@@ralphy1989 pressure down on the file doesn't matter because it is resting on the top of the teeth. It is set to only remove a certain amount from the tooth and the drag. Once it pushes easy you'll know it is sharp and the drags are properly set.
That little square stock will bow with not very much pressure .
Glad you shut the door !🚜❤️🏴☠️🎥💯%☝️👌👍🏻
I do residential tree service mostly never get to drop whole trees I'd love to just cut for a day like that
Really enjoy watching you fell....
Well, I hope you satisfied hand cutting itch..... you certainly gave it a good scratch!!!
Could see Puddin chattering away in the hard Maple, maybe Aaron's different angles may help ? 🤔
I hope so too!
Hey wade I was put there Sunday at the marathon not a minute from your log yard but it was a Sunday so I didn't go
Oh man I hate it that I missed ya
Ik we'll meet up one day I'm actually leaving to head out west for a week I leave Friday
Was that last tree a walnut? Looked like it by the bark! If so that's crazy how much sap wood it had. It's not that bad here unless it grew in field by itself really fast. Our forest walnuts only have half to inch of sap.
Yes grow a little to fast
👍👍👍
hello logger wade its is randy and i like you video is cool and super cool logger wade thanks friends randy
Nice timber
Glad it didn’t bend your bar when it grabbed your saw.
Looks like business has picked up. You're just running through them trees. Stay safe Tater.
Hey @LoggerWade at 12:09 did that tree pop hard because you cut in from the back or was it leaning out over that gully really hard?
Leaning real hard and I had my saw stuck in it too deep and got caught
@@LoggerWade lil pee-pee moment 😅
I notice you cut level with your hinge as have i but some people cut above why
Yeah I see what you see about your saw chattering some. Grabbing a good chunk of hardwood with a sharp saw would definitely make it chop a bit.
Yes its a spectrum and hard maple just seems to got outa bounds a hair for me
Hope you doing good big guy
@@LoggerWade I started PT so I'm back to resting a lot of time. After PT I'm sore AF but it is supposed to hurt. 😒 but yes I'm finally feeling stronger, painfully stronger 😳. It's been one hell of a year for everybody.
Outstanding logger you are Wade! Really like your technique of falling trees. It makes great sense to leave that outside holding wood until last! 😉
Thanks buddy
Nazdar draku super akce ať žije Husqvarna 395 🌲🌲🐲🐲🐉🐉🐻🐻🔥🔥😉😉👀👀🚜🚜🚜♥️♥️♥️💪💪💪💪 lesu zdar
U da man wade, what happened to your x jing saw.I bought a couple smaller ones pretty much trash, but yours looked ok.
Yes I took it out once and screws vibrated outa carbs gonna have to locktite a few things and try again
266xp 372xp and 395xp its a best chainsaw i like
Back out the low jet a hair and bring the idle up a hair to get rid of the hanging idle after full throttle.
Got ya thanks Jim
In Virginia we running John Deere skidder and Stihl ms 462 or ms 391. Awesome video wade.
Remember it's son of a biscuit eater.
Always like some chatter in my chains.
🦾🦾
Wade I love your channel but as 59 year old logger I would like to see you be a little more cautious when cutting. I totally understand production logging but none of that matters if you don't make it home to your family in one piece. Just concerned for your safety.
I hear you loud and clear bud.. Sometimes I run away with myself and just as you say take chances.. if you're a logger and make 59 that automatically makes you a successful one. I'll try and be a little more cautious. I got alot riding on staying alive
Clip your heels and you’ll have almost no chatter
