My wife is convinced I am the biggest slob in the kitchen, That is until I showed her your video. Thanks, it took some of the heat off. Great job on the cook! It looked great!!
I just got one of these Masterbuilt 20070910 30-Inch Black Electric Digital Smoker as an early Christmas gift. Today is the 23rd, but family is coming over on Christmas and they want pulled for Christmas dinner. Just set it up last night, and have it preheating right now. Going to try some rib tips in it just to run it through it's paces before doing a pork butt for Christmas. Thanks for the great video.
I think you just convinced me to get one of those smokers lol. Put the plastic wrap down on the counter first and mustard/dry rub it up right there! And less clean up than you had to do :-) oh hey! I'm in Jersey, too!
May I humbly suggest putting the shoulder on the plastic wrap and then season it. You can always go back around a few more times but you won't have to clean the counter.
this was an excellent video - please upload more electric smoker vids!!! this vid is from june 2014 - and i dont know when u made that website in the description but - - - if it was back then i cant help but wonder if you have given up on it :( I hope that isn't the case because judging from this video, you probably have some pretty dope smoker recipes you're keeping secret! Turkey, brisket, ribs , I KNOW YOU'RE HOLDING OUT ON ME !
Thank you for the wonderful comment about my video. Well I have made lots on my Masterbuilt smoker and unfortunately I was a slacker and did not record them. Then a cold fall/winter came and I had to stop. I assure you I will be posting a LOT of content this spring/summer so please subscribe and be in the lookout. Is there anything you would like to see made in the smoker?
Jeff Molnar Brisket and turkey are some big ones I'd really like to see. A buddy of mine is a chef and he tells me that smoked buffalo is fantastic. If you can get your hands on some I'd love to see your process and results. I'll definitely be watching for your vids and for your website updates...that website seems like an awesome start at a killer bbq/smoker resource!
rain or shine, it doesnt stop me. I love my electric smoker and feel like a chef every time i use it. I was catching looks when a blizzard was rolling through and i was checking the temp on some ribs outside in the front porch haha
I would love to make more. Unfortunately I had a 2 strokes and have great difficulty cooking and speaking. Hopefully in the future I can return to making videos.
Is this about pulled pork or Masterbuilt Smokers? If it's pulled pork thanks for the video. If its an endorsement for Masterbuilt be aware that they are very short lived. Mine-electronic, window, stand, digital- died before it was 2 years old and Masterbuilt would only give me a small discount on an upgrade. It's now a cold smoker plant stand.
Yes the video I made was about the pork. I love my unit and it still works. I have never had a sponsor to endorse any of my videos. Thanks for watching.
Mine died also at 3 yrs old or so, but i fixed it with a new heating element i got online, forgot where. It cost maybe 30 bucks, and been using it ever since.
I have smoked several Boston Butts in my Masterbuilt and I find wrapping them shortens the smoking time by several hours. Do you find that to be true? Great video
I'm sorry, but you're having drip INTO THE WATER? Water will help keep it moist, but would you not put the pan on the TOP shelf, and any meat UNDER that pan? Add wood chips EVERY HALF HOUR?!? I thought I read they last WELL beyond that. If you put s/thing in your smoker at night before going to bed, it's not even possible. An electric smoker should take the baby sitting out of smoking.

Used this video as a guide for my first pork roast in my masterbuilt smoker can I get a follow?
I like the idea of putting the Tupperware on the top. I will use that next time!!
I have wrapped the last two I smoked and it cut about 3 to 4 hours off my cooking time. They turned out great. Doug Weaver

So they key is leave the vent all the way open during cooking?
Interesting trying fat side up - will have to try next time! Nice hat BTW! Love the O's
Do you spray it down more than once in the smoker?

I smoke until 160degrees, then wrap them in foil with a little apple juice. Go to 200degrees, meat falls off the bone.
great video! perfect instructions...
I'm not sure he's ever done this before.
Nice job...thanx.
Thank you!
inject it with apple juice before fridge

You just cross contaminated everything you touched after transfering the pork from plate to cutting board.
