Handy hint.. to minimise damage submerge in a bowl of hot water while avoiding electronic component for a short time then proceed to disassemble. The hot plastic will be more pliable and forgiving and much easier to work with!
hi my m44 engine randomly shuts off i changed icv, o2 sensor, camshaft position sensor, crank position sensor nothing changed.checked for cracked vacuum hoses i didnt see any but i changed them anyways. i removed my disa valve and orange part is ripped apart . i am going to change it but could this be why engine stalls misfires randomly? it usually causes low torq and rattle noise but nobody says engine stalls because of it... or should i look elsewhere for random stalling issue
I would say no. My DISA membrane is torn as well, but the engine has been working beautifully before I took the intake apart for DISA/coolant pipe maintenance.
Hello, please, I connected the DISA to the flashlight and it just won't close as in your video. I have to draw air to the valve when it connects to the flashlight?
Your much make vacuum for the vlave body first and then supply 12V in, flap can move, and much sure you make vacuum enough for it. Or you can try install it in your engine if it work your can sense it when you start to move your car the engine more powerfull than before repair DISA.
Marek Hučík yes, at least mine works like so. seems it only allows to suck the air from the disa container to create a vacuum inside it. I don’t only know how the pressure is being equalized when the electric valve is closed (to open the flap). I believe there are some additional valves inside the motor, or some more advanced physics works here xd, but haven’t yet figured it out fully...
@@Man128Sk Hi, so I tried DISU and it works just like yours when it plugs into a flashlight. I just have an even smaller problem that at first I can't find a smaller menbrano anywhere, I also looked at it on aliexpress and nothing, please, could anyone advise me where to get it except ebay . And thank you very much for the answers

Hello, did you have a problem starting the engine after the repair?
HI
could you help
after installing the diaphragm if I tie 12V then the blade will not move.
You need to make enough vaccume in system and supply 12v at the same time,or install it in your engine and test drive ,you will sense it diffrent.
@@Man128Sk when i give it 12v it just clicks and clicks but the paddle doesn't move :( you should close it.
@@Man128Sk yes but for me in the video it closes to 12V.
but not for me :(
thank you for your help i hope you can help.
What’s the battery polarity? How do you know negative and positive in the the DISA? Thanks
You can use any polarity it no problem.

Is the problem solve... ? Try change the pcv and check the ccv hose .... Maybe it clog or pcv stuck to close pisition ...
