Hi I used to have this heat damaged frizzy hair, I used professional shampoo and conditioner for some days and it's gone now. So maybe you could try schwarzkopf split ends cream or any professional one
I have fine hair, I've never done any chemical treatment and they get weighed down quickly. The curlvana leave in and gel worked well for me, they are pretty lightweight and give great volume after i followed your techniques.

Which haircut is suitable for teens with curly hairs
Hi, haircut type isnt related to our age. You can get whatever haircut you like. Either people go for layers or no layers. Again it varies on hair type like density of hair, thickness of hair, goal of the client. It would be best suggested by the person cutting your hair BEFORE cutting it.

I've used most of them and I'll choose manetain cream for winter and sugarboo leave in for summer. Sugarboo is soo lightweight, feels like nothing. Loved ashba leave in but the price stops me from buying it. Once manetain cream finishes, I'm gonna try ashba curl cream. I have medium density medium strand type 3a curly hair.
I agree with Ashba. It is like wonders but the priceeeeee.

@@dishakamble481 sugarboo is extremely lightweight. Both the leave and curl cream. They won't define your curls or hold them as one and done. But in Kolkata summer, my main goal is to achieve moisturized and tangle free hair, not defined curls.

I'm actually using curvana curl cream and gel, but i don't it works for me, it never hold my curls and my curls are always very frizzy , and not defined even if I use high amount of product. I wash my hair and immediately I get to style it , i don't know what I'm doing wrong and actually i have wavy hair so i don't know if curvana will work for me or not, pls help me out and suggest me a good cream and gel

Its a good combo for fine hair and it hair doesn’t need extra softening.

Hey everyone’s hair needs different holding capacity plus also depends on weather. Aloe pulp gives soft hold but no harm trying

Chemically straightened part wont react to anything. It would still remain straight. You will need to cut it off. Only the natural length of hair will respond to products and efforts

Yes and yes! Basically you can use anything and everything that works for your hair and doesn't make its excessively dry

Creams *generally and ideally* must have soft hold in them so you can go for ashba curl cream or manetain curl cream. Ashba has now rectified the smell problem

Hey Vinny, ap inme se koi bhi cream pick karlo jo light and moisturising hai. Itna zada damage hai to time bhi zada lagega. Apko meri bond repairing wali video dekhni chahie its a must for you.
Also you can restart your curl journey by getting a cut. Cut off all the damage and start with healthy hair. That way you wont have to spend a fortune in reviving extremely damaged hair

Thank you for such a detailed video Deepika! This was so so so helpful. My experience with almost all of them have been very similar to yours except for the new Manetain orange curl cream. I have wavy fine hair and it just didn’t work for me, no hold no definition. Tried it with their popular old DC which still works way better for me as a multipurpose product. Sugarboo leave in is bang on, somehow I love their peppermint smell a lot. I am thinking based on this I have to give the Bblunt cream a try now, will let you know how it goes.

Manetain’s new cream is too light so it definitely didn’t weigh my hair down but it felt like there was nothing applied on my hair. I guess for finer wavy hair the product might be too lightweight to give enough hold and definition. I tried it in various ways with other gels and leave ins combined but nope!

Hey Deepika. So as you know I have fine wavy hair. I personally love two leave-in conditioners a lot : the sugarboo one and the curls blueberry bliss. Ashba leave-in suited me a lot and still does but it can sometimes be a bit heavy if I grab a little more than needed. However with sugarboo and curls leave-in if I use more it doesn't weigh down my hair. I'm glad you shared the differences between all of Ashba leave-in creams cause I was super confused. Seeing the plum curl cream consistency that you showed I'm thinking of trying it out. Do you think it'll suit fine hair?

Ashba leave-in quantity can be tricky sometimes 🙌🏽 sugarboo doesn’t weigh down I absolutely agree. Very light. And yes I do feel plum cream would be a good fit for you. Start with smaller quantity

Arata cream I didnt find strong fragrance wise. Fix my curls usedddd to have strong fragrance now they decreased it as per my knowledge. Sometime last year or before that. However strong fragrances dont bother everyone. They do bother me if the fragrance stays long and strong even after hair is dry
Between LBP and sugarboo leave ins which one is better in terms of moisturization ? I am using LBP one .
POV- I have 2b-2c fine to medium hair but I really don't follow cgm ( I don't use gel ).
Hey its more or less the same may be sugarboo is slightly more moisturising but not a huge difference. You can try the very small size i think its 100 ml but many fine haired wavy and curly haired people have told me it suits their hair quite well so I guess you should give it a try
Oh and about CGM - you dont have to mention or even think about it🤭 its all about avoiding certain ingredients nothing about how many stylers you use one or two - its a personal choice and I think as long as you dont need a gel for long lasting hold, its fine♥️ its not a part of cgm to use or not use a gel. i dont avoid any ingredient so it can be said I dont follow cgm but who cares😉 as long as my curls are doing well, hair is healthy and scalp is healthy its all good
@@desicurly thank you so much but what I was trying to say about not following CGM is that I don't follow any of its rules like not using comb in between wash days and also the curl enhancing techniques. I just treat my hair like straight hair. I have tried many methods ,gels and satin pillow cases but my curls doesn't last long . I am a student so my budget is very low and I always put my hair in braids and buns( which ruins the curls). That's why I only use leave in cream . But after using it for more than 2 years my hair is healthier than before.
Whats ur opinion on loreal hyaluron moisturizer for curly hair?

Hi, since you are already 16, its just 1-2 more years of school probably. Right? And in school we have to follow the rules. So do the choti but try not making it super tight. Also applying leave-in conditioner after wash really really helps in health of hair even if you braid.

Hi if your hair isn’t fine and its not coarse either then probably it’s medium and you can go for either of the products except fix my curls leave-in conditioner and ashba moisture milk

You can mix few drops on oil in palm with curl cream before applying on hair. Or opt for a richer curl cream that already has it
Heyy deepika, I've been facing this weird problem with my hair and idk who to consult. My hair's 3a towards the bottom but the top portion is all rough and frizzy, to the point that it starts looking like 2a then proceeds to spiral midway. I don't use any curly hair products for now (currently using biolage shampoo and hair mask), is there a way to fix this ?
Hi! This is nothing weird but lack of styling is happening here. Shampoo will cleanse, hair mask with soften. But then what? Its all rinsed off right? You are not completing your routine right now

I have covered about only those products sold/marketed/labelled as curl cream or leave in conditioner for curly hair. Ustraa cream is not enough moisturising for coarse hair. True frog cream I have never tried only conditioner and shampoo I tried and reviewed from true frog. I suggested two options are that ONLY for coarse hair not fine-medium hair. But there were other recommendations as well that would also work for coarse hair like Ashba Curl Cream, bblunt curl cream, fix my curls hair butter

One question. What do u do with your hair when u have to work out / any situation that requires you to tie your hair up. How do you tie it to maintain curls. I workout daily and I feel no matter what I do for the curls the braiding of my hair during workout will ruin it.
See with workouts there is no hack no other way. But instead of braiding you can use a huge claw clip to tie it loosely. However if you are doing high intensity movements like running or HIIT zumba etc you would also like to keep your hair tight and way from face as much as possible. Braiding and buns are the only way possible especially with long hair.

Hi, flaxseed gel is a DIY hair gel that you can make at home easily by boiling raw flaxseeds in water and straining the water. It can be stores upto 7-10 days in fridge. Its a good gel with medium hold and also adds shine.

Silicones are absolutely fine to use. Max to max buildup will occur but that can be easily taken care by clarifying shampoos basically the ones that leave hair squeaky clean. Silicone related problem is overhyped honestly. I am saying this after avoiding it for 5-6 years for my curly hair

Hiiii! There is no one product for that I’ll be very honest. If there was I would gladly be using it😋 me and my hair been into curl care since 2016 so its definitely the consistency that brings health because products can be quite similar but consistency is what brings results. However, like my hair cannot be wavy (as much as I loveeee wavy hair), wavy hair cannot be coily. We all have different curl pattern even on our one head. So while we can start with a curl cream + consistency to make hair healthier, we cant make it less coily or more coily😬

Hi, keratin treated hair wont respond to anything you do for curly hair because essentially its made straight by breaking bonds permanently. Let it grow and cut the treated length. New growth will have your natural curl pattern. Start curly hair routine on that♥️ you can then select cream according to your hair strand width
Can i use bblunt leave in cream without their gel? ( after curlvana, i have tried plum and bare anatomy but it didn't work for me sadly even though i have fine hair)
Yea that one works without gel too. It does have some hold but if bare anatomy and plum were heavy for your hair then this might also be heavy. Best would be to use very small amount of leave-in or cream just for little bit of moisturisation and follow up with a light hold gel. Doing this wont weigh down your fine hair and you will get both moisture and hold according to your hair.
You can also try using curl up mousse or curl co curl cream as one and done

Hi, can you tell which gel is good for which hair? I did buy Arata hair gel and tried to use it once but I just got my hair becoming sticky. Paisa hi waste hua usme.. Kind of confused which gel to use to get a medium hold on my wavy hair.
Hi Meghna, all gels are suitable for all hair types. There is nothing like wavy hair can only use certain gels. However, fine hair is recommended to use soft to medium hold gels. Coarse hair can use medium to strong hold gels. No rule as such just mostly works like this. Pattern doesnt play major role here. Secondly, from your question it seems like gel is a new product for you. If so, always give time in understanding a new product. Here in your case its a whole new category you are experimenting with…right? A lot of things can go wrong in doing so. Always be open to failures and try more times to understand the product better.
@@desicurly the creams aren't that much of a issue as they do not have sticky sensation on the hair and fingers. And yes, only a year into it and that also I do not experiment on hair that much as with a tad bit of wrong product hairfall increases by 5 fold. So was basically looking for a defining product that is not sticky on the hair. Seems like certain curl creams can do the same for me as you put it down on the video.

That really depends on what you have used before, after, the weathers and how well one keeps their hair after wash. For my hair 2-3 days

I used curlvana leave in cream after 2,3 days hair becomes very rough and it finished my shine but curls constant.

Hi you can opt for a more moisturising cream from this video. Curlvana leave-in is to be used in small amounts. Using lots can make hair feel producty and rough and dull temporarily. Can happen with any light weight leave-in conditioner of cream if accidentally used more. It takes few uses in understanding every new product

Hi Disha, the target audience for this video is anyone hair that is not naturally poker straight. Same products work across the spectrum of curl pattern but it does matter if hair is fine or coarse. Thats why I continuously say in the video “curly or wavy” “wavy or curly” “wavy-curly”

Hi! You might be using too much product - wavy + fine means less product but distributing very well on wet hair.

Yes its quite light weight. however adding oil to hair wash wont let it remain light weight. The overall look after drying can be oily, limp and frizzy looking hair (unless hair is quite coarse)
I have recently used curlvana leave in cream but sadly it didn't help me detangling and a lot of hair fall occurred every time😢 and I didn't feel any slip also. But the gel works very good for me. May be I have to alter its quantity for more effectiveness.
Dont rely on stylers for detangling your hair. It should already be detangling during conditioning phase - thats the job of conditioner/hair mask to detangle hair. Stylers, if in case have good slip, its a bonus because that helps in easy application else they aren’t meant to be very slippery. Also if you have conditioned well then hair will be quite soft and less tangly at the time of styling. That helps

Coarse hair needs more softness and more moisturising. Softness negates hold. So you will find either a cream is on more moisturising side or on more holding side of the spectrum. So its better to use a moisturising cream followed by a gel separately
