This video is has some callbacks to the “Afterlife” video. The spider by itself without the Rev, Zacky dancing with the skeleton instead of his girl...
Been a fan of a7x for 8 years and i never knew that lol
Thanks man!
This was after they lost a band member, right?
@@lexiwexiwoo duh
Also the colors. In afterlife, It is black and changes to white in Chorus, and in this Nightmare, It is mainly white, then changes to black, just the opposite
why is Zacky dancing with a skeleton?
This video is an homage to James "The Rev" Sullivan, the drummer for Avenged Sevenfold that passed away during the recording of the album this song was on, with references to some of his parts from other music videos and the video itself being inspired by the movie Jacob's Ladder, one of The Rev's favourite movies, and features the last drumkit he'd toured with at the end.
I was searching in the comments section to make sure at least one person knew...Billy asking if it was an insane asylum made me on the edge of tears as that was rev's life in a nutshell...
@@apollobunny3904 Jimmy was insane in the most wonderful way.... Val said it best.
That's sad about Mr. Sullivan. I didn't know that until today. Well, this song sure highlights some of the glories of drumming. Respect!
I can think of someone else who almost died to a Jacobs ladder
I find it hilarious that almost everyone commenting is giving out ideas for another A7X reaction which would be cool but at the same time... Did no one else notice how much Billy was into the song??? I dont even think he knows it but hes a metal head and he just dont know it. A7X Forever! 🔥🔥✊✊
Avenged Sevenfold "This Means War" (veteran reacts)
Avenged sevenfold - afterlife you'll love it
This song isn't literally about evil, it's about mental health "professionals". The video is based on the movie Jacob's Ladder, which was The Rev's favorite movie. This was their first video after he died, hence the broken drum kits with his pet tarantula crawling on them and his final kit in the room at the end.
React to "The Stage" and "batcountry" Avenged Sevenfold
Nightmare is sick what a fckin great song
(Veteran Reacts) Avenged Sevenfold - “M.I.A.” Would love your perspective on this song from one vet to another. Great song with a powerful message
Still remember the first time I heard this song. Blew my mind! They became one of my favorite bands overnight.
Fit for a king -
"When Everything means Nothing" or "The price of Agony"
RIP Rev, I can't help but think of him everytime I hear a song from this album, he took his own life before it was finished
MORE AVENGED!!! Also if you happen to react to avenged sevenfold, refrain from reacting to the official music videos as they cut out some of the best parts of the songs to shorten it for the radio. Dope video bro.
Fav A7X song, although honestly this whole album is pretty solid. As far as the guitar goes, good ol' Mr. Gates is VERY good at what he does
This just made me realize that as many times as i've heard this song and it's been a lot i've actually never seen this music video before.
This was the album they were working on when "The Rev", their drummer died.. :'(
I remember the day it happened actually, my roommate woke me up damn near in tears.. letting me know what happened. I didnt get it at the time because I didnt listen to much music.. but look back, what a damn tragedy.. to lose someone so amazingly talented..and he was the screamer in their earlier stuff too
Do seize the day by them
Yes!
Yes finally! More Avenged Sevenfold! One of my favorites! The Stage, Bat Country, Afterlife, Almost Easy, Hail to the King, Coming Home, all greats and many more.
You gotta see this live. They put on a great show! I saw them a few years ago with Disturbed, Stone Sour and Halestorm...killer lineup.
The video for this song was inspired by Jacobs Ladder. Reves favorite movie. This was made not long after his passing.
Hell yea! I’m glad you did this one. This was actually one of the few I was debating between to request this month. A7X is one of my favorite bands.
Billy your reaction to the guitar solo is exactly why I love synyster gates. Also if you think this video is creepy it’s nothing compared to a little piece of heaven. That’s a good Halloween song.
#BILLSMAFIA i have watched this music video numerous times and that is the first time i can recall seeing the empty drum kit at the end for Rev......so glad he was able to get his drums part written for this album before passing. RIP REV.
Perfect halloween song: A Little Piece of Heaven by Avenged Sevenfold. Very creepy
Cameron Rosen already did it
@@dylanholman3 I can't find it
kj robbi it’s in a trio video with Cole Swindell and drop kick Murphy. It doesn’t say the song names just the artists, he posted it like four months ago
How abooouuttt “Dance with the devil” by Breaking Benjamin 🤘🏻
This is an amazing song, even more so when you realize it's purpose...reflecting on the very end of Rev's battle with addiction. He should have known the cost of evil...a sad but very powerful truth here
Some great music coming out of America! i rock out to Avenged Sevenfold everywhere i drive to
I love this song but this is the first time I've ever seen this video..
Welcome to the Insane Asylum
My absolute favorite Avenged Sevenfold song though is "Bat Country." I certainly recommend that one
Anything from Gary Allen his music is great every song has a meaning that’s why I listen to him great reaction btw
Danger line you'll like it with the military background
Also MIA
Definitely listen to “A Little Piece of Heaven”
Your going to scare him away
He already reacted to this.
Carry On by Avenged Sevenfold is awesome
And the winner for most underrated comment on UA-cam video is...👆👆👆👆👆👆👆👆👆this guy👆👆👆👆👆👆👆👆👆
Avenged sevenfold “a little piece of heaven”
Anybody RELLIK he already did that one
Dylan Holman oh. cool thanks
Definitely one of the best songs
Sounds like the drummer is ripping some triplet patterns on the kick-drum! That and more - excellent tom and double kick-drum patterns - so tight! The whole band shreds - they seem like a kind of punk rock version of Iron Maiden to me with the epic solos and the powerful, anthem heavy lead vocals. Love these guys!
The reason why you see the empty drum kit at the end was cuz The Rev had died & they were having a moment of silence for him. Mike Portnoy of Dream Theater fame played the drums in the song & he killed it
Wolf in Sheeps clothing - Set it off
True Friends - Bring Me the Horizon
Heaven Knows - The Pretty Reckless
My favorite song by them is buried alive. My 2nd happens to be this means war. However I'd really LOVE to see your reaction to their song far away, a tribute to their drummer
Instruments are killing it......rocking outside of their mind. AV7 is best of rockers today.
Song is incredible!
I had seen this band on each of the tours before this album. I took(My then 15) yr old son to this show. He instantly became a fan. I believe Korn, Hollywood Undead, and In This Moment were also on the bill.
Loving the Avenged Billy!!!
You should do “Welcome to the family” or Stone Sour’s “say you’ll haunt me”
Welcome to the lyrical genius and amazing voice of M. Shadows. They were supposed to be swinging through Utah last year on tour but had to cancel because he had something messed up with his vocal chords. Hope they come through again at some point
R I P REV.
Happy for no more pain. Unfortunately gone to soon.
Yessss finally i love this song!
It’s a perfect song !
I use the beginning of this song to wake me up in the morning.
Skillet - "Monster" would be a great reaction video. They are a Christian rock band.
Everything in this video is about the Rev. You got the drums laying in the room, the spiders that crawled on the Rev's face in afterlife, the dancing with the skeleton and then the empty drums at the end shows its their nightmare that the Rev is gone. He died before this album was finished. The Rev recorded demos for most of these songs but died before the final recordings.
Gary Allen “Tough Little Boys”
4:53 every time i hear Syn's guitar solo or when i know its coming up ^^
This song brings back memories when I was about two years old I was hooked on the song and one day when I went to my aunt sounds friends house I haven’t play the song and I got so caught up and saw the song I said the F word in the first part when he said the F word it was hilarious and her friends like Connor why would you say that I’m not
Hail to the King by A7X opening is actually my alarm clock noise.
This is my favorite Avenged Sevenfold song
Billy wit another reaction🐏
Avenged Sevenfold is one helluva band
Billy is low key a metalhead. :)
There are so many amazing Avenged songs. You could do a couple of weeks just reacting to them.
RIP Rev.
A couple ICP songs if rap is a genre you like. a couple personal favorites are Miracles and The Mom Song (though this one does have similar/use the background to Tupac's Changes/Mad At Ya. Can't think of which) theres also ABKs Last Chance and Boondox's We All Fall
this is their best song, it got me into the group.
Same dude, along with almost easy
Avenged sevenfold " welcome to the family" because I noticed you liked the guitar in this song
Funny enough this is my alarm ringtone.
You gotta check out their song Seize The Day
I've been a fan of Avenged for years! Amazing live show! Synyster Gates is IMO the best living guitarist going! 🎸🎸🎸🤘🤘🤘 The ending showing the drum kit is a tribute to their original drummer, Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan, who died tragically while recording this album! RIP Rev! 😢🖤🖤🖤 A7X forever!
Avenged sevenfold - so far away! Please!
Vet to Vet... I recommend Avenged Sevenfold MIA And ask yourself how these kids came up with it... Someone had to actually make it back from combat or intimately knew someone that did who completely opened up to them. Choose the Lyrics version so you catch every word. I look forward to your reaction of it if you choose to do so. Thanks for all the great reactions!
I wanna see your reaction to Fight For Love by Disciple... preferably the studio recording... live is cool but the studio recording is amazing... the intro will hit you out of nowhere
React to Sunny Disposition by Avenged Sevenfold the song has trumpets or saxophones in it, it's epic.
Avenged Sevenfold - Buried Alive......they're best song
I would recommend the bliss by volbeat
Please continue doing A7X reactions. Do “The Stage” if you haven’t already. This is by far my favorite band. And you’re my favorite reaction channel so it would be great.
Second Chance (official Video) by Shinedown is another good song.
I love this song! Hey, Billy, could you react to Hell Yeah by Rev Theory? Keep up the great work. Peace ✌️
Gates is such a fucking god on the guitar!
you should react to Danger Line by Avenged Sevenfold. as a vet, you should like it.
the stage
i recommend avenged sevenfold with Shepard of fire, buried alive, and doing time
I'd love to see you react to The Humbling River by Puscifer or Take me to Church by Hozier.
The video is very much inspired by Jacob's Ladder (an excellent movie)
You should check out animal by disturbed.
R.I.P The Rev
He should checkout sidewinder by them
this is deep lyrics.
My fav AV7 song!
Try out some James Ingram's love songs
1. Just Once
2. One Hundred Ways
3. Baby Come to Me
4. How Do You Keep the Music Playing
5. There's Just No Easy Way
M shadows was his own dr at beginning of video
Hey I'm a new subscriber and I want to suggest avenged sevenfold hail to the king as you have done other songs by them
You should totally react to Dance with the devil by Mr. Liqz
React to unleash the archers general of the dark army or cleanse the bloodlines
If you haven’t… do “not ready to die” by a7x
Do a little piece of heaven for Halloween!!!!
Billy my man PLEASE react to The Kids Aren't Alright by the Offspring.
Tony Justice "Last of the Cowboys"
Far as mainstream rock music goes, few are on the level of Avenged Sevenfold.
So few actually know this whole vid is directly based off upon the movie Jacobs Ladder? Alright lol
Hear "Dear God"! 😍
You need to react to A7X (Avenged Sevenfold) A Little Piece of Heaven
Creepy song and video but so, so good. Lyrical genius.
Zombie by BadWolf :)
Hotel books please.
Can you please listen to Heaven's not too far by We three? You will cry for sure😭😭this song means alot to me
I don't know if you've reacted to any Slipknot yet but if you haven't, I suggest The Devil In I. Just be warned, the video is very graphic. But it fits perfectly with the song.
