Great video! My projector is supposed to have the capability to work with lightning to usb on the unit. In theory, is there any advantage to using HDMI instead of this method? Picture quality for instance? I will get this adapter because although the USB method is supposed to work, it only works with certain cables and certain iphones and I cannot figure out why.

However, the reason why Apple changes so often some "security" aspects of the lightning connector are most probably because they want to sell their own overprized cables and connectors. That's also the only reason why I believe that they still use the lightning connector on the iphone instead of usb-c.

The reason I’m now doubtful is because you mention, that the sound will automatically be transferred to whatever device you’re hooking up to, when using the Apple HD-adapter? (In this case my projector) So because of that, maybe it’ll instantly block the ability to also hook up Blutooth, just for the sound, between iPhone and speaker?

Great question. You can use bluetooth to a sound bar (or similar), use the projector speaker, or take the headphone output of the projector into your sound system

Sounds like a bad digital signal. I would try a different hdmi cable.

Sometimes it depends on the app that you use. Some apps won't output video through the HDMI adapter that we use in this video.

When I plug in iPad to projector the Bluetooth speaker turns off. Can you explain how to get sound to work?
The sound goes over the HDMI cable. You will need to connect a speaker to your projector.

Yes, I believe you can stream your audio to one bluetooth device while you're connected to a projector/tv using a hdmi cable.

Are you using the official apple adapter? It sounds like a HDCP issue which is common with 3rd party adapters

From my research, streaming services has their own encryption to now allow them to project.

No, but i believe there’s a separate port you can plug your phone charger into so you can charge the phone while it’s connected to the adapter
My projector has 2 USB ports and HDMI ports. When I connect my Android phone via USB, it does nothing. Any ideas?
Use HDMI. The USB ports are generally only used for USB drives with a very limited list of acceptable file types.

You should just be able to connect your Xbox directly to the projector without an adapter.
