I absolutely love your positive attitude! I can't stand when customer service workers are just standing around conversating amongst eachother while you're just standing there after you walk in.
I'd rather be happy than frustrated 😂. Sometimes I just try to give them an awkward stare but it does not always work. Thanks for watching my videos. 🚗🌴
That is exciting to hear. I've done well with Uber eats. I don't use them as often as DoorDash but they send some great offer sometimes. Thanks for watching my videos
Hi Popsy! One of your videos popped up in my feed, so thought I'd watch a few. How long have you been dashing? I've been thinking about it for awhile now, but can't decide if it's worth it in my area, I keep reading mixed reviews. What are your thoughts? I think you're the only dasher I've watched that just uses 1 app. Do you find that challenging or are you in a good enough area where getting orders from just DD isn't an issue? Glad to see you had a good day on this one. Stay safe.
Hello and thank you for watching my videos. I've been dashing for a little over 6 months. The advice I would give you is to try it. Once you sign up you can do it as little or as much as you want. If you find it isn't worth it in your area, you can just stop doing it. I do use Uber Eats as well but DoorDash is the main app I use. Sometimes I get a lot of great orders from Uber Eats but usually, it is long distance for low pay. It depends on the day and how many people are out there. I find that DoorDash keeps me busy enough most days and I fill in with Uber Eats when they get slow.
There is the big red accept button at the bottom when a new order comes in. There should be a black decline button at the top of the screen. After you press it you will go to a screen that will show you your new acceptance rate. You can verify on that screen. Turning down an order after you already accept it is a different story. If you do it too much you can be deactivated. Make sure you read my warning below before doing it. If you already accepted an order and want to decline it, Go into the help section and say there is a problem with the order. If you just don't want to do it, select the I have a problem option and choose the appropriate answer. You are allowed to decline as many orders as you want before you accept them. It will affect your acceptance rate. Getting out of an order after you already accepted it will affect your completion rate. Be careful, if your completion rate gets too low you can be deactivated. Thanks for watching my videos. 🚗🌴🍕🍟
I try to do the same thing. There are a few restaurants that make you wait in line so I always take my Dasher bag in and have it tucked under my arm. I usually announce my presence to them and then stare at them until it gets kind of uncomfortable. 🤣 Sometimes it works, sometimes they just don't care how awkward I make it. On the pizza pickup, I snagged the manager when he walked by because talking to the guy making the food was not working. Still took too long.
I had to go back and watch the video to see what I said😅. I left WaWa with around 5 minutes on the timer and arrived at Dunkin with 13 minutes, so it took me 8. I left Dunkin with almost 18 minutes on the timer so I must have been in the store waiting for around 5 minutes. I was only guessing when I said it would take about 5 or 6 minutes to get there. Thank you for watching my videos and keeping me on my toes 🤣
@@PopsyDelivers I was like why he is driving so slow 🙈🙈 I just stared door dashing and I am learning a lot from your videos. I work full time and have kids so I only do it for a couple of hours here and there.
@@julissag4474 A couple of hours here and there adds up. Nice to have the flexibility of working when you have time. I'm glad you are enjoying the videos
Sometimes DoorDash will hide part of the tip until after you deliver it. I made a video on hidden tips here ua-cam.com/video/ndXf56EM80w/v-deo.htmlsi=i6eJegPz-0lpqM-H Thank you for watching.
Nice dash, congratulations 🎉❤😊💪👍
Wish they were all like that. Thanks for watching!

@@PopsyDelivers Thank you so much for your response. As you said, all I can do is try, and see if it's something for me. 👍
Question? How do I decline an order? And how do I decline an order after I accept it already.

Happens on UBer too 😮
Too bad I've never had it happen on a bad order 😅 thanks for watching my videos
I cringed every time a Dunkin order pops up.
@@paulmalotky6441 I have restaurants in my area like that too. I automatically decline them because it is always a 30 minute wait 🙄⏱️
I make people notice me if i'm standing there for more than 2 mins...im getting my order.

You said 4 minutes to dunking donuts and it took you 12 minutes ?
