Der Mann ist einfach eine Legende. Sehr geiles Set, Zeitlos! Und wie immer noch drei Turntables am laufen.... Alter Verwalter....God is a Dj? I believe in Carl Cox! 😉✌🏻
That recording is definitely from 1995, because the 12"s at the very start spinning on the third, seldom visible turntable (RAZOR'S EDGE) and the one on the turntable to his right (GIGGLATRON) were released in 1995. PLUS he is wearing a "Hands on Yello" promotional shirt. That compilation came out in 1995 as well.

There was another Carl Cox Viva House TV Dj Mix here on youtube from 1996. Unfortunately it is gone and can't be found anywhere. Does anyone at least have the tracklist of the Carl Cox Set from 1996? Thx
Nobody mixes like Carlcox. He mixes songs for almost a complete record and at times begins his night bringing in a song maybe second or third and continuing to use the same song all night until he eventually brings it in and boom. Can see his Hiphop back ground shining through his unreal mixing and scratching.
That's not true... At 3:39 and other time-marks he clearly adjusts a few times. I think he adjusts them more, but we just don't see it (and when done right, you certainly won't hear it)
eq is often overrated, dont touch too much. main task is to cue and beatmatch! good selection of records will overcome EQing. EQ is there if you NEED it, but in the best case you dont need it :)
@@leninonacid2358 it's more a question of HOW you use EQ rather than if. it can be a very helpful tool to keep levels balanced and not override deeply into the red which usually leads to distortion on the main p.a.
1996 - War er wieder da im Studio - In The Mix On 3 Decks - 16min. - Wovon es hier auf UA-cam den Clips von gab. Seit einiger Zeit nichtmehr aufzufinden ... Leider
both Shazaam and the vinyl Cox is spinning says: Razors Edge - Exquisite Sin. But it doesn't sound exactly like those i found... check out here. but maybe it's another mix, like the "... dream mix", which I didn't find on youtube. If you find out more, let us know. nb: I answer in english so more people will understand - but I'd speak german, too :)
tight. impressive mixing yet partially well disharmonic. i guess choosing more percussive records and less melodic ones would be a more reasonable choice from a 2k22 hindsight perspective.
This DJ has potential. We should keep an eye on him. 😉
he's talented.
I love carl cox’s oldskool hardcore sets from the early 90’s but his sets on psy trance/tribal techno are on another level I love it even more
I remember seeing it live on TV...life changing 10 minutes
Somehow everything was more exciting and crazy back then.

I don't believe it, Mr Cox mixing Goa trance!!!!!!
@Shane Gallagher the first track is 100 % goa trance ! : Doof - Lets Turn On
So few videos I found of his prowess on Vynolium. He rocked Glasto like this in 2000ish. I voted him as world president.
ungefähr 1994. damals hieß die Sendung noch Housefrau. später dann House TV, und noch später Berlin House.

but in the end who gives a fuck anyway, it doesnt matter.
