I started using a hand muff warmer you wear around your waist. Inside that you keep your warmer of choice, and still wear your thin gloves as well. I attach my lens & camera to a shoulder strap so Im not holding it all day. This works well for me even when its bitter cold.
This is the same hand set up I use with those thin shooting/hunting gloves as a base giving full control of buttons and touch screen. I would also ad the bank robber type ski mask. Never exposed skin in the frigid conditions.🥶

good tips Matt, i too suffer from FHS, "frozen hand syndrome" recently bought a pair of vallerret Tinden Photography Gloves, they are pretty sweet

Bank robber mask…haha! Yep! It’s great to protect the cheeks and it helps to hide the human form from critters. 😁 Thanks for watching! 👍
